Over in Tulare County, a College of Sequoia student took this video.

0:04

I hope every one of his family dies and their children and their grandchildren and their

0:09

grandchildren and their grandchildren to eternity.

0:11

The student, who wants to remain anonymous, says prior to pulling out her phone, the teacher

0:16

told the biology class that he watched the assassination of Kirk on loop for an hour.

0:22

Hey, welcome back everybody. So today we're going to look at videos of teachers that's been either fired or placed on leave for making fun of Charlie Kirk's death. Now this is normally not the kind of video I would make for this channel, but I think it's important because you all need to know who's teaching you all as kids. Okay.

0:39

Kids, students that they're one of the most vulnerable populations in the country because they're being taught what to believe, how to behave, that kind of thing. And a lot of times, they're being taught a lot of unhealthy rhetoric that will eventually form their values, their behaviors, and the type of person they will become. Now before we get into this, I just want to warn you all that you're going to hear some disgusting stuff coming from a teacher.

1:05

Now the first video we're going to look at comes out of California and I chose this one first because it's probably one of the most disgusting things I've heard a teacher say. And worst of all, he said it in front of his students, not just on social media. So we're going to look at that. But before that, we're almost at 16,500 subscribers so if you guys want to support the channel go ahead and hit that like and subscribe button help us push it over. All right let's get to it.

1:33

Mariposa County High School staff member is under investigation while a part-time faculty member at College of Sequoia's is on administrative leave. Parents and students up and down the valley are blasting comments that seem to celebrate the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. They say they're inappropriate no

1:51

matter what your political beliefs are.

1:53

I don't know if this teacher should be fired, but I want us all to agree that no authority figure should be condoning

2:00

political violence. Multiple Mariposa County parents angrily addressed the school board during

2:05

its monthly meeting Thursday.

2:06

A teacher who allegedly stated they were glad Charlie Kirk is dead and

2:11

told MAGA kids to go home and cry.

2:14

Parents say there's no room for

2:16

these comments in the classroom.

2:18

These comments and the harmful message that individuals who share Charlie Kirk's opinions or beliefs are somehow deserving of violence or death. The Mariposa County message that individuals Kirk's opinions or believ

2:27

of violence or death. The unified school district s this week and reads in pa investigating a complaint comments made by a Mirapo staff member over into La

2:43

of Sequoia student took this video.

2:47

Family guys and their children and their grandchildren and their

2:50

grandchildren and their grandchildren

2:51

to eternity. The student who wants to remain anonymous says prior to pulling out her phone, the teacher told the biology class that he watched the assassination of Kirk on loop for an hour.

3:02

That is sick. Like first of all, why would you say that to students in your class? You know that say that you wish you know his grandkids and grandkids grandkids. You know, go to death like I mean that is that is just toxic.

3:19

Negative sick stuff that a teacher should not be saying in a classroom, whether it be grammar school, high school, college, whatever. Nobody not be saying in a classroom, whether it be grammar school, high school, college, whatever. Nobody should be saying that kind of stuff in a public forum like that. You know, these are your students. They're not your friends, you know. You can't be

3:38

saying this kind of stuff and to say that you watched it, the assassination, for an hour, a loop for an hour, I mean, that's sick. You know, that's just not, I mean, that's a level of deep hate that's just sick.

3:57

You know, it's sick. Let's keep going.

4:02

I just was very disgusted. I couldn't even stay in the class. I walked out and I was just brought to tears because as someone that watched the video and saw how terrible it was, it just it just made me so

4:15

uncomfortable to see that someone could say something like that.

4:18

She says this isn't the first time he shared his political view in class. The College of Sequoia sent us a statement saying the part-time faculty member was placed on administrative leave and a full

4:29

time employee has taken over the

4:31

course for me as a teacher to go into a classroom and suggest that somebody deserved to die and his family should should likewise die all the way down to his dogs and his 10th generation that's inciting

4:44

violence and I don't think any contract would protect somebody from saying that right exactly. likewise die all the way down to his dogs in his 10th generation, that's inciting violence. And I don't think any contract would protect somebody from saying that.

4:48

Right, exactly. He should be fired immediately. You know, and it's not that I want to see people get fired, you know, to lose jobs and, you know, lose income and things like that. But you don't want these kind of people teaching your kids, whether if it's in college or not.

5:07

You don't want these kind of people teaching your kids because he said this stuff to students, not just one time, but several times. The classroom is no place to be spewing all this kind of hate and because you have a difference of opinion of somebody else, probably fueled by liberal media propaganda and lies. It's just sick stuff, man.

5:38

All right, so the next one we're gonna look at comes out of Tennessee. Now, you guys probably saw some of this on social media. It's that middle Tennessee State University assistant dean that was fired for social media comments.

5:52

That and the fallout of MTSU's assistant dean of students, Laura Sosh Leitze, who was fired after a post she made on Facebook in response to Kirk's murder, saying, looks like old Charlie spoke his fate into existence. Hate begets hate.

6:09

Zero sympathy.

6:10

I think saying that you have a lack of sympathy for something is horrible, that what happened yesterday is just cold and heartless. I think it was the right move, given her position. But some students say the university's president went too far firing the assistant dean if she said it to her students

6:26

That would be a different story entirely but it was off of Her office hours on her personal account and it's her personal thoughts and I don't think that the school has any business Policing that sort of thing. Nope wrong. Nope

6:41

He's not seeing the big picture Now if this person is willing to say this stuff on social media in front of thousands, if not millions of strangers, what do you think she's saying to these students on campus? You know, you gotta think about that

6:57

because someone that's that bold to say that on social media, knowing the position that that person is in a high position like that, an assistant dean at a university to say something like that in front of thousands of people and not care. She's not gonna care about these kids, you know, saying stuff like that in front of these students and trying to, you know, hate on them.

7:23

Let's keep going policing that sort of thing.

7:25

We spoke with Dr. Sydney McPhee, the president of MTSU, who says Sash Lightsey's remarks crossed the line forcing him to let her go.

7:35

It has caused and had the potential of causing significant reputational damage to the university.

7:48

Right, I think a lot of people that make these kind of comments, they don't think about that. Like when you're part of one of these kind of jobs, you know, a university, whether you work for a law firm, you know, a hospital, you work for a company, you work for a government,

8:04

like you carry the reputation of that place on your back and everywhere you go, right, you have to conduct yourself a certain way because their reputation rests on, part of their reputation rests on how you behave, okay? And if you don't behave in accordance to their rules

8:24

and regulations, then they won't keep you because, you know, they're not going to let you bring them down. Let's continue.

8:37

And having really an adverse effect on the credibility of our institution.

8:44

The president says this is also a lesson learned for everyone at the university that words matter

8:50

and everyone has to be held responsible for what they say.

8:54

And I'm quite comfortable with the decision that I made.

8:58

On September 10th, after conservative political activist, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University. John Colgan posted this to his personal Facebook page. It reads in part, hearing that Charlie Kirk got shot and died really brightened up my day. Nobody deserves it, but some are asking for it. He went on to call Kirk a ghoul who often defended guns after school shootings. Colgan

9:24

teaches science at Neil Armstrong Middle School in Forest Grove. So this guy's teaching kids

9:29

in middle school, you know, like you have no business saying being a teacher at a middle school and saying hateful stuff like that on social media. Crazy. Let's

9:41

keep going. At first, the school district didn't take disciplinary action, only saying the district does not condone violence nor the celebration of violence and that Colgan has made the post on his private account while off duty. But at 9 20 Friday morning, the Forest Grove School District posted an update on their website saying, we recognize the harm caused by our staff members post

10:05

and we are taking the situation seriously. Consistent with our policies, we have placed this staff member on paid administrative leave and we are conducting an investigation. Colgan has not responded to our interview request,

10:18

but the mayor did put out a statement saying, in Colgan's resignation, he expressed that he is deeply sorry for his comments and the harm they caused to our community and staff. The comments made by former city counselor Colgan on social media

10:32

do not reflect my values or the values of the city of Cornelius. Worth noting in Idaho, a high school employee was just fired from the West Ada School District for posting a video on

10:44

social media celebrating Kirk's assassination. I'll have more in this story tonight at 630 on the story. Christine.

10:49

OK, so this next one is coming out of a high school in Iowa. Look at what this teacher said.

10:56

Oscar Luza School Superintendent Mike Fisher says it has been a busy day. He confirms the trouble started late Wednesday afternoon when high school art teacher Matt Cargill posted on social media. It says, quote, one Nazi down. It was his response to the shooting death of Republican political activist Charlie Kirk.

11:15

Upset Oskaloosa residents started calling into the school to complain.

11:19

To be able to post stuff like that, it's just inappropriate and it's not called for. And it's definitely something that it's not called for and it's uh

11:25

definitely uh something that shouldn't have been done. Fisher says the post violated the district's social media policies and put Cargill on administrative leave. We contacted Cargill but he did not want to comment. There has been no violence at the high school. One of Cargill's close friends says the beloved art teacher deserves a second chance.

11:45

Matt shouldn't have posted that, but he's human and he makes mistakes. And if you look at his record through time as a friend and community member, we should take a little time and try to figure out that if we did something that was not the smartest thing in the world, would we want to be extended the same grace?

12:06

Nope. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong on four accounts. Number one, that wasn't a mistake. A mistake is a typo in an email.

12:13

All right? That was a conscious choice that this person made to write those things and to put it on social media. All right? Number two, he's not these kids' friends. He's their teacher. Number three, yes, he's a community member

12:27

of these kids technically, but he is their teacher. He should be teaching them what the school wants them to teach, okay? And this is not one of them, all right? And number four, he wants people to, or she wants people to extend him grace,

12:43

but did he extend grace to Charlie? That was brutally killed in front of his family You know, I know I'm all about grace and all that and I'll extend him to grace, you know Cuz God extends us grace when we when we mess up, but you know, you got to think about those things, right? I mean, it's You know, you shouldn't have done in the first place. People can avoid a lot of stuff if they just don't make stupid decisions like this. And again, this was a choice. This wasn't a mistake.

13:15

Cargo continues on administrative leave here in Oskaloosa, and now it's up to

13:19

the school board to decide if he will keep in Framingham. A King Elementary School employee is on leave after posting a video appearing to celebrate Kirk's death. In Wachusett, the superintendent says a high school teacher is on leave and banned from the property after

13:34

she made inappropriate comments about Kirk shooting on her personal social media page. Police say the comments sparked heated debate and raised concerns about school safety that extra police had to go to the school.

13:47

She's basically okay in a crime, you know, that this is something we should do.

13:50

Yep, and that's what a lot of people are thinking too. Like, if these teachers are okay with this person, with Charlie Kirk being viciously murdered like that, they're okay with crime, you know. I mean, that's what they're projecting out there. You know, whether or not they know it or not, people that see that, that's what they believe.

14:09

Like, okay, you know, this person is teaching my kid that think that murder is okay. Vicious, vicious murder is okay.

14:20

And, you know, you can't agree with stuff like that. How out of control are we when you start doing stuff like that?

14:26

Social media companies are now removing videos that glorify the shooting.

14:30

I think a lot of times people are just doing things because they're impulsive and they're

14:34

not thinking about the big picture. Both districts condemning their staffers' actions. Framingham school leaders saying, we do not condone violence or hateful behavior in any form. And in Wachusett, they say political violence especially has no place in our country and it directly contradicts our nation's founding principles.

14:55

School leaders here say that Stafford will be on leave until an internal review. In Framingham, Tami Mutasep, WBZ News.

15:03

So this next one is coming out of Florida. So this guy is a data manager for the Jacksonville Education Fund. And he also teaches, but look what he says on social media about Charlie Kirk's death.

15:15

Leoford Thomas, Jr., a city appointee and then now former data and policy manager at the Jacksonville Public Education Fund, is receiving backlash for comments he made online about Kirk spewing hate. Thomas sent First Coast News this statement saying quote my original post was not meant to apply that Mr.

15:35

Kirk deserved what happened to him. I do not condone or endorse any form of violence to anyone who was hurt, confused or disappointed by my words.

15:44

I sincerely apologize. The Jacksonville Public Education

15:45

Fund also sent First Coast News a statement calling Thomas's post inconsistent with our values and say he's no longer with the organization and City Council President Kevin Carrico is calling on Thomas to be

15:59

removed from his city appointed position.

16:01

Council member Rory Diamond agrees.

16:03

Look, I think the appointee has to go. There's a standard for serving on our city boards and he's falling well low that standard what he said was really disgusting so he should go.

16:13

I suspect that he will probably resign. Well, these people are serving on city boards that say this kind of thing. I mean. I mean, what are you thinking? You know, in this case, this person is carrying the reputation

16:28

of the city on his back. And he goes on social media and says something as immature as this, and as disgusting as this. You guys gotta check this stuff, man.

16:43

Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan

16:44

is calling for an end to hate and violence, They gotta check this stuff, man. Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan is

16:45

calling for an end to hate and violence, but did say this is a council appointment and a council decision. Council President Kevin Carrico did say on X today that he will be filing legislation to remove Thomas from his

17:00

position and says this hateful rhetoric has no place in Jacksonville and we've reached out to the council president to see when he plans on

17:07

filing this legislation. Heather. Okay, so this next one is coming out of

17:11

Oklahoma and it's another middle school teacher that says some nasty stuff about charlie Kirk in the social media posts. But get this, they're now threatening to snatch away teachers licenses.

17:23

A middle school teacher in Sand Springs is now under investigation for social media posts that he made, which prompted this response from Superintendent Walters. And then here in the metro, a letter was sent to Heritage Hall families regarding one of their staff members, the school sharing that although they would not typically comment on personnel matters that that employee no longer works at Heritage Hall.

17:47

And also this we wanted to tell you just within the last hour, Walters sent a letter to parents encouraging them to report anything that endangers the learning environment and promising to take away teachers

17:58

licenses for glorifying what happened

18:00

on Wednesday. So not even well

18:02

known popular universities like Clemson are immune to these kind of people.

18:10

Now Clemson University now responding to calls for action after comments allegedly made by one of their professors about Kirk's death.

18:17

And multiple state leaders asked Clemson for answers about these alleged comments and our team reached out to the school multiple times. They finally responded to us saying in part quote the deeply inappropriate remarks made on social media in response to the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk are reprehensible and do not reflect the university values and principles that define our university community. Now they went on to say they

18:40

will take appropriate action. Meanwhile upstate congressman William Timmons says they're not going far enough. He responded to the school on social media saying in part, quote, absolutely disgusting that Clemson professors would celebrate the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

18:56

Anything short of firing them is unacceptable. And the US House Judiciary Committee also responding to the school saying quote defund Clemson. For more details about this story you can head on over to our

19:09

website foxcarolina.com. Alright so we're back in Tennessee now at Cumberland University and what I like about this story is that the the students got involved in it and they started calling out to faculty members that said some unsettling things about Charlie Kirk. Young voices led

19:26

today's protest outside Cumberland University, demanding action after two campus leaders made posts online about Charlie Kirk's death. The targets of the protests were faculty member Doctor Michael Rex

19:37

and staff member Max Wood. Yes,

19:40

they do have a right on opinion to what they believe in to their beliefs, to what they stand for. But or an opinion to what they believe in, to their beliefs, to what they stand for. But when it comes to taking a life or the passing away of someone, I don't think that's something that should be taken lightly.

19:54

Coming and peacefully protesting, because as Christians, we didn't want to cause an uproar. We believe that it's not really red versus blue. It's good versus evil. And I mean, I think

20:06

we got our point across by midday, the university confirmed they were no longer employed with

20:11

the institution. The examples of their posts were not that that we would expect as a role

20:16

model that particularly the faculty member, but the staff member too, should have done

20:21

for our students. Wood later posted an apology online, calling his tweets a knee jerk reaction and saying it doesn't reflect who I am.

20:29

I think they regretted their decisions. They both apologized to me personally.

20:33

The controversy also led the University to cancel a planned lecture series with former MSNBC political contributor Matthew Dowd after his own remarks about Kirk.

20:43

We need to be very careful and judicious about what we post on social media or in any other medium, even on email. We need to choose our words carefully because words can hurt.

20:55

This just kind of reminds everyone that we need to be held to a higher standard, especially when we are in a leadership position.

21:01

In Lebanon, Kaitlin Quisenberry, News 2.

21:04

Okay, so now we're in Texas where several teachers and faculty members across the state got in trouble for stuff that they said about Charlie Kirk. In Waco, a student

21:14

teacher from Midway ISD has been removed from her position. Our sister station in Temple reports that student teacher, who graduated from Baylor University, reportedly left a now deleted comment under a post covering Kirk's death that read, quote, this made me giggle, end quote. Baylor University issued a statement

21:34

following the student teacher's removal, writing in part, quote, to make light of the death of a fellow human being is completely inappropriate and completely counter to Baylor's Christian mission." Two Houston area school districts are also denouncing comments reportedly made by their employees after Kirk's death. Pasadena ISD issued a statement last night writing it was aware of

21:58

insensitive comments made by a district employee. And according to the Houston Chronicle, a teacher from Goose Creek CISD is facing online backlash, including an online campaign to fire her regarding a comment she reportedly made on Facebook calling Kirk's death. The consequences of his actions.

22:17

So this next one blew my mind. So we're in Louisiana now where a law school professor, a law school professor said one of the sickest things about Charlie Kirk and people like him.

22:33

Good evening to you friends. On this Friday, I'm Greg Meriwether. We're going to start with our WAFBI team. Southern University suspends a law school professor today and they're moving to fire her over comments she's accused of making on social media in the wake of activist

22:49

Charlie Kirk's assassination in a post. Shared with WAFB, the professor allegedly wrote I will 1000% wish death on people like him. Our chief investigator Chris Nakamoto broke the story earlier today.

23:02

He's now here with the ongoing fallout from her comments. Hey, Chris.

23:08

Hey, good evening, Greg. The post quickly going viral with many people wondering why she's not being protected for her free speech. Legal experts say free speech does not mean free of consequences.

23:20

In this situation, if it's strictly political, that's one thing. If it is suggesting violence, that's a different story.

23:29

As law school professor page says she teaches criminal litigation and criminal defense in a social media post shared with us. She allegedly called Kirk pure evil and she wishes death on people like him. Southern University board chair Tony Clayton said speech like that won't be tolerated, adding quote, she participated in conduct that was prejudicial to the university. The school will investigate this matter to finalize terminating her from the university. Attorney Clayton going further saying

23:58

quote, distasteful statements should not be tolerated, particularly as it relates to death. That is tantamount to participating in inciting violence and spewing hate. That conduct will not be tolerated at Southern University period. Attorney General Liz Merle also reacted, writing that quote political violence has no place in a democratic society. The comments posted by this individual were abhorrent. This individual has a constitutional right to have opinions and social media amplifies them, but she

24:29

does not have a right to teach at a public law school. All right, y'all, so

24:33

you know that we couldn't get through this whole thing without new york being part of this mess. Look what happened here in Leroy

24:41

at a local school district is in trouble for comments made following the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk. This time a LaRoy Central School District teacher is on administrative leave. The school superintendent did not reveal the teacher's name, but said the educator expressed regret when confronted by school administrators this morning. The district released a statement from the teacher that reads in part,

25:08

I have strong personal beliefs and unfortunately in a heated moment, I've put up media posts that were inappropriate, inflammatory and offensive. The teacher goes on to write, I sincerely apologize to the community of LaRoy, my colleagues and especially the students and parents for my actions." This teacher joins a Naples school teacher who is off the job due to inflammatory school media posts,

25:34

social media posts rather, made following the shooting death of Charlie Kirk. The conservative activist was killed while speaking at an event on a Utah College campus Wednesday. The full statement from the Leroy teacher and complete coverage from this week's developments are posted at RochesterFirst.com.

25:52

Alright y'all, so this next one takes place in Rhode Island and this one I'm very proud of because the parents got involved. You know, they were livid at the TikToks that this teacher made and they showed up at the the school board. I think it was a very, very good move. They were very supportive. You know that they were they were livid at the Tick tocks that this teacher made and they

26:11

showed up. At the district and

26:13

voiced their concerns about it,

26:13

and the teachers will put on leave. Administrative leave

26:19

after alleged controversial comments about the shooting of Charlie Cork parents showing up at a school committee meeting tonight, and they are outraged. The night team's John Perrick was at a school committee meeting that just wrapped up. He joins us live, John.

26:29

Patrice and Dan, yes the school says that they are putting that teacher on paid administrative leave. School also says that they're planning on hiring a third-party investigator to look into those comments. But for the parents we spoke with here at the school committee meeting tonight, all that just isn't enough. It was kind of shocked. I was like somebody actually posted this. A Barrington teacher tonight put on paid leave after parents say the teacher posted inappropriate comments on social media about the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

27:00

No remorse, no nothing. It was more so he got what was coming for him.

27:05

Parents say the post in question was a tick tock video. It's since been taken down, but parents we spoke with still saw it. It was a post of a male teacher

27:15

who is saying that the killing was justifiable. Barrington Superintendent

27:22

Chris Ashley first announced the school's actions to parents over email before addressing the issue again at tonight's school committee meeting. We will be conducting an outside investigation into this. We can't discuss the details.

27:36

Any acts of political violence cannot be tolerated.

27:39

Parents tell us the teacher in the alleged video works in the high school and is involved in the union. Multiple parents spoke out during public comment tonight.

27:47

Having the most evil reaction to someone's death is literally disgusting.

27:56

To make our students feel safe, our conservative students feel safe, our Christian students

28:02

feel safe, he needs to be removed.

28:04

The school said that he's now on paid administrative leave. Is that enough?

28:08

No. It sets a precedent that you can say whatever you want on the internet and nothing will ever happen.

28:17

And I asked the school committee for the name of that teacher. They want to give it to me. On Monday, the school committee will determine who that independent investigator is going to be. I'm live in Barrington, john Perrick,

28:27

NBC 10 News 19. All right, y'all. So that's it for the videos. But look, this is disturbing, man. I mean, the kind of people that's teaching students now is ridiculous. I remember a time where people had their differences. They didn't bring it into the school, though They didn't bring it into the school, though. They didn't bring it into the school. Okay?

28:49

Now, I'm going to say this again. This is my third time saying this, but if these people are brave enough, comfortable enough, putting this stuff on social media with thousands and millions of people, strangers, can see it, what are they teaching these students? What are they saying to these students? And nevermind the kind of bias they're showing.

29:13

I'm willing to bet that a lot of these students that got bad grades and failed some of these classes that were conservative, that liked Trump, they can probably come back and say like, hey, look, I deserve to pass this class. You know, I deserve, you know, this kind of grade

29:32

or a second chance because this teacher was obviously biased against conservative students. You know, that's the kind of stuff that they open themselves up to, but they don't think about that when they want to post stuff on social media.

29:48

The whole left rhetoric, like I said, the Democratic Party, they like to radicalize their people, and they're becoming more radical. Now we have teachers in middle school that's saying this nasty stuff about somebody that got, you know, viciously murdered and they're comfortable with it. You know, you guys got to be careful who your teachers are, who's teaching your kids. You know, make sure you guys go out there and, you know, do some deep background checks

30:22

into these people because who knows what they're teaching you kids. Anyway, that's all I got. I appreciate you guys sticking with me this long. Look, love you guys. Look, love you guys. Talk to you soon.
