Some insane videos just came out of Tucson, Arizona that were recorded on July 19th of 2026 on CCTV cameras showing 21 -year -old David Leroy French reportedly opening fire into a crowd outside of Empire Pizza on East Congress Street and North 6th Avenue in downtown Tucson, Arizona, which resulted in the injuries of nine people.Now, reportedly, the incident took place as a verbal argument unfolded between two groups that knew each other and escalated into gunfire somehow.went from 0 to 100 that quick, but it did.Surveillance video reportedly showed French firing multiple rounds into a crowd of people, injuring nine victims, all of which were adults, primarily suffering gunshot wounds to their extremities.

Now, Tucson police officers that were already patrolling the downtown area heard the shots and responded on foot almost immediately, and they encountered French fleeing the scene.After he ignored multiple commands to stop, a uniformed officer shot him, wounding him critically.

And then officers took him into custody, provided first aid, and he was hospitalized in life -threatening condition.But apparently, he survived.Also, it's important to note that no officers were injured in this shooting.Now, French currently faces charges including nine counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, nine counts of aggravated assault causing serious physical injury, and one count of discharging a firearm at a structure.Interestingly enough, he was on probation at the time for a 2024 incident where, while he was intoxicated, he pointed and fired an AR -15 -style rifle towards a car wash employee during an altercation, which he missed at that point.And after that altercation, he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2025 and received four years of supervised probation, despite eligibility for up to nine years in prison.
