Welcome to a vlog!

I am so excited. I hate nothing more than starting a vlog in the airport because it's just so loud and annoying But welcome to a vlog. I am going to Korea with Dyson So exciting like pinch me. Can't believe I'm saying that. We're just in the lounge I'm gonna eat a bite to eat and then we're gonna board our flight I feel like I can't properly introduce the vlog or like properly talk to you guys in the lounge but our first flight is to Singapore and then we go

from Singapore to Seoul. It is currently 6 a.m. I have to get up at 3 a.m. I am in the lounge at the moment I'm just getting a little bite to eat. We're boarding in about 20 minutes so I'm just gonna get some toast and some prawn

We are on the flight I had to get up at 2.45 to get my transfer to the airport so I'm going to have a nap. I slept for 4 hours and now it's time to eat. Lunch has been served. I got a little lamb curry with some rice and I'm just watching some YouTube. We are on the second flight. I think this flight is like six hours and it's been around two hours. It's currently 5pm. I'm so excited.

Dinner is served. This is the entree and I think it's just like a little chicken salad. We're in Seoul. We're at the airport. I just went through immigration about to get our bags and I didn't realize I'm like so delusionally tired. I didn't realize it's a 45-minute drive from the airport. So we're not gonna be at the hotel until I think about midnight. Hopefully tomorrow we can get a sleep in. We made it.

We're at the hotel. We're just checking in. It is 11.49. We're just waiting for our bags to be brought up so we can figure out whose bag is whose because we're all matching. And then we're going to go to the room and sleep. I left my house at 3am and it's almost midnight, so it's been like a 20 hour travel day.

And I'm really deluded, so I'm keen to get to the room. We just checked in, I got my room key.

Ah, it's a new day! I feel so much better. I felt so delusional last night. But it is a new day. I woke up at 9. I think it's like 9.45. I laid in bed, bed rotted, replied to everyone's messages, um, because they're an hour ahead. It's only an hour time difference which is good but everyone's obviously at work today. Um, replied to everyone, uploaded what I need to upload, had a shower, and now getting ready for the day. I'm so excited. Basically, the only thing that we have today with Dyson is a 15-step scalp treatment,

which I'm so excited for.

And then a dinner.

So we have all the afternoon, all the free time, so I'm really excited to get my bearings. We came in last night so late. I don't know where I am. I haven't seen any of South Korea. This is all I can see right now, is just blinds. But I'll give you guys a room tour. We have to be down in the lobby at 11 30 and it's like 10. So I'm gonna hopefully have time to go get Brekkie just before. Actually, I think Brekkie ends at 10. No, I just remembered. I think Brekkie ends at 10. Damn, that's really annoying. Like I could lay it out here but I kind of want to do fit checks here and over there the cupboard is like quite small and I've got two huge suitcases. So I've used that bed as a little bit of a wardrobe. And that's the bed I'm sleeping in. So here's where I'm gonna get ready for the day.

Okay, I've ordered some room service and now I'm gonna do my makeup. I am so excited. I can't believe it's South Korea. Like it doesn't feel real because I got in so late last night

and I haven't like seen anything or done anything. So honestly it just feels like I'm in any other like hotel room, but I'm so excited I don't know what the temperature is well I do but I don't know like how to gauge it because I haven't been outside It says right now that it's

I think it's gonna be like the head spa Similar to the head spa that we did in Japan from what I've like read I think it's like similar vibes but 15 steps sounds crazy. That sounds like way more in-depth than the one we did in Japan. But the main like Dyson event that we're like here for I'm pretty sure is tomorrow. But that could be wrong. We don't really know. I only got the itinerary this morning

when I woke up. So I think it's tomorrow basically. There's three Aussie creators here. There's me, there's Chloe which I met yesterday because she flew with us and the Dyson lady and then there's Eunice who's coming from Melbourne I think and I think she gets in like this morning so she's not doing the head spa with us she's gonna do the head spa on Friday but I'm so excited. I've never met Chloe before, I've obviously met her now, I met her at the airport

but I had never met her before but she's like a Dyson girlie from what I've gauged. And I love Eunice. I met her on the Sutterfield trip to the snow last year and she's the best. So I'm really excited. I don't know if there's like people from all different countries or if it's just us, like I really don't know. I don't really know anything. I'm kind of just here blunt. So I'm keen to find out more today. But yesterday I was like so delusionally tired when we were landing from the second flight. I don't know why.

Probably sounds so dumb. Probably shouldn't be admitting this, but I don't know why I thought that the flight from Singapore to Korea would only be like two or three hours. I just like, I'm so bad at geography and that's just what I thought. So when I got on and it said six hours I was like, holy shit, we're basically doing the whole Sydney to Singapore again. So I wonder if the, like if you could fly direct from Sydney to Korea how quick it would be. Like I wonder if it's only long because we have to like go to Singapore. I don't know. I'm like so bad at geography. So if you were to geography, you're probably cringing listening to this. But I just didn't expect it. So then when I got the plane, it was six hours. I was like, holy shit. We're in for the like semi long flight.

But I'm gonna slap on some really chill makeup. And pick my outfit. I don't know what to wear because I don't want to be freezing. But I don't really know anything about Korea. South Korea was actually like close to the top of my list of places I wanted to travel to next. I've always wanted to come here. I actually want to come here with my brother because I just feel like he would love it. He loved Japan when we were there and when I saw people going to Korea like last year I was like wow I really

really really want to go so I'm so glad that I get to come, like for work, and that we have free time to explore. I actually wanted to extend this trip. I was going to extend by a few days because I wanted to come for so long, and I wanted to do my own like exploration. So my plan was actually to extend by like two or three days

and just do like a solo trip after, or like bring Bailey and shoot AFM and I didn't because I'm going straight from here to another brand trip which came up like last minute so I'm kind of sad that I can't like stay and extend and explore but also the trip that I'm going on is so exciting um and that'll be the next vlog. I hope we have enough spare like free time where I can actually still go and explore. I think we do this afternoon. So I texted Ebony Shield, because her and her partner Calvin

were here, I think, like, May last year. So I texted them for their recs, because when they came they just, like, looked like they had the best time and they sent me this, like, Google Map link. They shared it with me and it's, like, all the saved spots that they saved on their trip. So that was like, that's gonna be like so helpful. So I'm gonna hopefully have time to go to some of the places this afternoon. I ordered room service but she said the gluten-free toast can take 40 minutes. So hopefully it comes soon because I've got to meet them in the lobby at 11.30 and it's 10.30. I'm just gonna slap on some makeup.

I just did really chill makeup. I'm doing these jeans, tabbies and three-quarter top But then I realized it was really cold and the only jackets I brought are Can't say where they're from. Just in the airport editing this vlog and I realised that I actually can tell you where the jacket's from because it was announced last night. It is from AFM coming soon. So excited. It's the blue, powder blue and sand suede jacket that I'm wearing throughout the vlog

is AFM. If I'm being secretive about it it's because I didn't realise that when you watch this it's already been announced. Probably AFM on IG for the launch day and everything. And for reference, I wear the medium slash large. But this like powder blue suede one and then a suede nude one. But I've got like these weird greeny colored jeans on.

So neither of them really match with this fit, but I know I'm gonna be freezing. So I've gone with the blue, which I'm obsessed with. This mirror is like shoved in the corner. But this is the fit. And then I'm going to do my new baby.

Okay, so the lesson photo is the healthy example of photo the the scalp that we have. And then the healthy scalp has a really transparent and bluish white color and very open pores. So if you have dry skin, you should avoid using this. Okay, so we've done step one and two, the scalp analysis, and we just did the oil. And now we're doing the sealing brush, which has a red LED and blue LED. All done and wow. That is a must do experience if you're in South Korea. That was incredible. We just went to Olive Young. I didn't vlog in there because it's quite like overwhelming. It's like their version of Sephora but I want to go to another one

later today because they didn't have two of the main things I wanted so I'll vlog in there but we're walking to lunch at the moment. I don't really know where we're going. Oh that's so cute! Okay I'm not really sure where I am but I've ubered to an area with the girls. They've split off because they're getting a snack so I'm solo walking around.

I'm just like looking at shops. I got Ebony Shields. She sent me like a maps link of all the places that she went when she was here so I'm kind of just following that. Okay, I think I've entered a good street. So I'm just kind of solo exploring, going into all of the cool shops.

stuff that I picked up from Olive Young today, the K-beauty store. This is the MediCube Zero Pore Pad. I'm not really sure. After washing face, use embossing side of pad to gently wipe facial. Use opposite side of the pad. Okay, I don't really know what these do, but I've heard they're amazing. I think we use the harsh side. I think we just go over like that. I don't really know. And honestly my forehead too, even though I didn't put it on my forehead, it's just like rubbing the residue but honestly my skin like soaked up all of it but my skin looks really like it looks like glass like I'm shook. I've had to put face tracker on

because it's annoying me but this is the Aestura moisturizing and strengthening skin barrier cream. Supposed to be amazing for dry and sensitive skin. And I have such dry skin. So I was thinking we could try this as well because it says, does it say night cream or did I imagine that?

and the Brekkie place is five minutes away. So I'm hoping there's not a line and I'm hoping there's not a wait. If there is, I might have to come back another day because I want to be back here at like 10.30 to hopefully get changed. My makeup and hair is done, but I just want to change my outfit.

But yeah, I'm going to get some brekkie, do a little solo exploration. And I'm so excited. I found this it's all gluten-free, and it opens at 12. And I have to be back here at 11 for the event, so I was really sad.

things as well and I got the stamp on my passport and then I think next we go upstairs. Basically they've designed it to be like an airport which is just insane and then in here there's a really cute little photo op as well which is gorge but it's literally insane like no event there wouldn't be an event like this in Australia like it's crazy to see how they do events in other countries. That's an event was insane. insane like it was so just crazy I feel like my eyes are leaking I feel like we wouldn't have events like that in Australia because the influencer scene is so small whereas here it's like they really love it like they love the influence same reason Australia everyone kind of hates influencers which is like crazy when you go on brands and you travel with like international creators

I saw on the walk here there's an Olive Young that looks like a lot bigger than the one we went to yesterday. So I want to go back in there because there was two main things that I wanted to get that the other one didn't have. And then there tomorrow's Friday and then we leave Saturday at midday so we've got another full day tomorrow which is amazing it's like perfect

again before I go home on Saturday. So I might have to come tomorrow or Saturday. But now we're going to go shopping. from not from Dyson but she's from a PR company I think that Dyson works with so that's really handy because Korea it's not very touristy so not many of the locals like speak English so it's really nice to have a translator but we're gonna go to like a strip of shops like you just walk down the whole strip and there's heaps of shops and then after that when you go to Gentle Monster and

then apparently inside Gentle Monster there's like a little cafe with like cakes and coffee and stuff. we've come to the strip of shops we went to Rockfish which is like all things shoes little like ballet flats and this is kind of the strip of shops there's Banilaco which I think is Korean makeup. there's so many cute like salt bread places as well because that Korea is quite famous for salt bread. I think I really want to find a photo booth. I think that would be really cute. We're waiting in the line to go into, I was about to say

The foundation is lasting well but I do feel like it's getting a little bit dry. But it is really hot and it's been on for a while so i'm not complaining but maybe i just need like a little spritz. it is 2 20. i left lunch. it was amazing. the waffles were so good. it didn't even taste like gluten-free. like sometimes gluten-free has like a really like specific taste to it. it didn't taste gluten-free. I am in Olive Young and I just got way too much stuff, but I had to, I had to stock up on my faves. Show you what I got. I got this moisturizer that I've been loving. I've been using it every single day. And then I also got one for, where is it?

One for mom as well. I got the cushion foundation for mom to try. New setting spray that apparently is amazing. Cleanser that is supposed to be amazing. I forgot to pack my fave set up for one. I've been using makeup wipes which is not good. These are supposed to be amazing under eye patches and mom really wants some so I got some for both me and her.

The cream that I've been loving. I got the body version because I have vitriol skin. And I got a juice to try, which hopefully it's yummy. It's going to cost roughly 196 for all of that, which is actually quite expensive. I also got this like travel kit for mom because she really wanted to try this brand.

It's like a little tester of age. She can see if she likes it. And then if she likes them them she can get them online. Well that was a success. It cost 196 for... Is it? 23 cent. Oh amazing thank you. They only had one left so I got it for mum but I actually wanted a

second one as well so I'm going back through the checkout. But that was a success. Hopefully mum likes this. She has oily skin whereas I have dry skin so maybe she won't like it but if she doesn't like it I'll just take it off her because I'm obsessed.

Okay, we're going back through. As I was saying before I got distracted, that was a success. I have about half an hour to get back to the hotel so I'm going to Uber there now and just chill and wait for the transfer. But that was a great little last day. We did, we were productive. We had a yummy lunch, got everything we needed to get from Olive Young and now I'm going

to go home. I'm glad I did this last because this bag is so heavy. My Uber is coming in one minute but I really want to try this carrot juice that I got because I want to try it before it gets warm. Hopefully you guys don't fall. Oh I think it's a puree. I thought it was a juice. Oh no okay. Oh my god no. No no, not on the hot pot. Okay, my Uber is here. I didn't realize it was a puree and not a juice. I don't know why I thought that would be a juice.

Which one is my Uber? That one. That is the best Olive Young if you're coming to Seoul. Definitely go to the one in Seongsu-dong. I think that's what it's called. Not really sure how to pronounce anything but I think it's Siang Su or Siang Su Dong

Just looking up on TikTok, I don't even know if that's technically the biggest one but it's the biggest one I went to and it was huge and this is also a really nice area to just explore it's like the Adidas store and like all the different little stores on this trip are really nice What else is around here? SeoulSot is right around the corner, so you have to go there for lunch.
