A Republican-appointed Virginia judge has struck down a Democratic-backed redistricting amendment.

We have breaking news right now a Republican appointed judge in Virginia has just struck down last night's Democratic backed redistricting amendment completely every single ballot cast yesterday April 21st is completely void from the start ruling that the amendment is unconstitutional rather the redistricting effort is completely unconstitutional. The ruling was issued minutes ago by Judge Jack Hurley of the Tazewell County Circuit Court.

Now folks, this is going to be appealed immediately. And Jay Jones, the Attorney General has already said he will appeal it immediately. It's going to go up to the Supreme Court of Virginia, which will ultimately decide as we've known from the beginning, whether or not this is a constitutional effort. But right now, in this moment, a Republican appointed judge in Virginia has invalidated yesterday's election, essentially putting it completely on hold.
