Before you buy custom cabinets…watch this!

Every time I show myself installing cabinets, I always get asked where I bought them, which is actually pretty flattering since I built them myself. I buy 4x8 sheets of plywood at Home Depot and then I put pocket holes in them and put them all together to build cabinets. I've actually never used pre-made cabinets in my home. I've also never bought real countertops either. The countertops that I'm building the drawers't wait because apparently epoxy yellows over time. But the whole point is I've done most of my house remodeling on my own on a very tight budget.

I've only splurged on a few things here and there and this shiplap I did was definitely not a splurge. I didn't want to spend the money for inside of a pantry on real shiplap so I used this brown board and then pieced it all together and used bondo on wood but that's usually from automotive guys who don't know that they make bondo for a wood filler. bless their little hearts. but anyways i used my paint sprayer to paint the hole inside of this pantry green. this is the same green as my kitchen cabinet which is pewter green by sherwin williams. i wanted it to be monochromatic in here or some people call it
