BREAKING: Labour MPs Move To OUST Keir Starmer - Chaos In Downing Street - LIVE Coverage

Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to TussiTV.This is your global news channel, Amaya Tussi.And for the first time in two years since Kia Starmer became Prime Minister, we are finally seeing a cabinet rebellion to oust him as Prime Minister.This is a live coverage of the chaos that is happening in Downing Street tonight.There is a lot to cover in terms of what the Labour MPs are doing.So we're going to give you guys the latest coverage and also the latest number of Labour MPs who are now going to be, who have now called on the Prime Minister to resign.

But first things first, I've just literally arrived 25 minutes ago from Spain.and just landed obviously about an hour ago a couple of hours ago we literally just got back so i'm all over the place stay with me the fact that i still managed to come live yeah that says a lot anyway kia starmer today decided to make a speech to renew his program as the Socialist Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.The problem with this was that it didn't go down too well.Following the disastrous elections that we had last week on Thursday, the Prime Minister obviously had some problems with this party.The whole party fell apart and they said, you know, the couple of people said you need to resign.So he decided to make a speech today.

He made things much worse.He was all over the place and he decided to randomly start attacking the upcoming rally, the free speech rally of the United Kingdom on the 16th of April.which will be in central London, led by my friend Tommy Robinson.And I will be there.I will be speaking, making a speech.Keir Starmer called it far right.

And he said that he will ban and block the far right agitators from travelling to the UK to attend the march.There was a bit of an issue here.Let's watch this quickly.

And you'll see it again on Saturday.at a march designed to confront and intimidate this diverse city and this diverse country.That is why this Labour government will block far -right agitators from travelling to Britain for that event.Because we will not allow people to come to the UK to threaten our communities and spread hate on our streets.

So following this, the Labour MPs decided to say, yeah, he's got to go.Enough is enough.The reason for that is because they thought that he's going to be making a speech apologizing, saying I'm going to be a better leader.He has a new program.He just tried to do distraction tactics.Let's attack the far right.

Right, right.Everybody's far right.But there is a problem because he was extremely nervous.Let's go back.See what he said.He used a word that doesn't actually exist in the dictionary.

They march, designed to confront and intimidate.

Intimidate.Designed to intimidate.Wait, what was that?Designed to confront and intimidate.Intimidate.He meant to say intimidate, but you can see the Prime Minister was extremely nervous.

But now what's been going on over the last few hours since I was on the plane coming all the way back from Spain and I had no idea what was going on until I managed to finally get internet access.And then I realized, oh, all hell has broken loose in London a few hours ago.one random Labour MP, who is now becoming kind of infamous, Catherine West, decided to begin the rebellion.She started to rally the troops.She started to send an email to all the other Labour MPs to actually coordinate this rebellion.She said that she wants the leadership election to take place in September.

And then she said, actually, I want a new leader by September.And she said that she wants Andy Burnham, who is currently the mayor of Greater Manchester, massive rival to the Prime Minister, to stand.She said, I hereby am giving notice to number 10 that I am collecting names of Labour MPs to call on the Prime Minister to set a timetable for the election of a new leader in September.I want to thank everyone who has been in contact over the weekend to offer good wishes.We need our best top team in place to fight the next election.We owe working people up and down the country nothing less.

Catherine West.Now, most of you have no idea who this person is.The reason for that is because she's only been an MP since 2015.Guess who else has only been an MP since 2015?The Prime Minister.We found this post from 2015.

Keir Starmer posted it, saying, taking our seats for the first time with Catherine West and West Streeting, who is currently the health secretary, another contender for the leadership.Look at the young looking Starmer, the young looking West Streeting and Catherine West is basically the same age.She hasn't really changed.I think she was born old.She just looked the same anyway.But so they used to all be friends.

And who knew one day Starmer would bebecome Prime Minister randomly.Only after a few years of being in Parliament.He hasn't been in Parliament for decades.And the people next to him are going to stab him in the back.They're going to drag him out of number 10 British politics at its best.

Let's look at the latest number of MPs who have now declared and said that it is time to finally make their move.The latest number is currently at 78.Now they need 81.We need three more MPs to come out.And basically that number has been increasing over the last couple of hours.It's been going up and up and up and up slowly.

But it's not really just about the Labour MPs, the backbench MPs.It's about the cabinet.We've had previously over the last almost two years, we've had a few MPs every now and then coming out to say we should send in the letters of no confidence.We should ask the prime minister to resign.We've had big groups before, but you can't really do that unless you have a cabinet rebellion.And we now officially have a cabinet rebellion, top names coming out to tell the prime minister it's time to go.

But One former cabinet member, the former Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner, who is also looking at the top job.She made a speech earlier following Stalmer's disastrous speech.She couldn't speak English for some reason.Intimidate.It's not a word.Angela Rayner reacted, saying that we will be judged on actions, not just our words.

Kind of rich coming from Angela Rayner, but they're all as bad as each other, in case you don't know about British politics and the Labour Party.Let's go to Angela.

today acknowledged the frustration that was expressed last week but we willbe judged on actions and not just our words.I'm proud of our Labour values but they're not enough if we do not have a plan to put them into practice.It's no good acknowledging the mistakes if they're not put right.So let me be honest conference, we as a party have to do better than this.And we can only prove we mean our Labour values by putting the common interest ahead of factionalism.

And we can start by accepting that Andy Burnham should never have been blocked.It was a mistake that the leadership of our party should put right.

Funny how they're all coming out in defence of or in support of Andy Burnham, even the Every single one of them wants to stand as leader.They're just using him because Andy Burnham, who is a Greater Manchester Mayor, had an opportunity to come back to Parliament about a month ago.There was a by -election or special election.Keir Starmer blocked him because he knew if Andy Burnham comes back to Parliament, he's going to challenge him as leader and he's going to replace him as leader.Andy Burnham is kind of popular among the grassroots of the Labour Party.But all these other guys, all these ones who also want to be leader, suddenly are using Andy Burnham, they're defending Andy Burnham's right to essentially become an MP.

Now, this is where things kicked off.Junior ministers from the government started to resign for the first time.Tom Rutland, Joe Morris, both of them resigned from government.Sally Jameson, also another junior minister, resigned, and actually called for Kirstarmer to resign.And then we had the cabinet office junior ministers, including Naushaba Khan, I don't know, no relation to Sadiq Khan, I'm guessing, Naushaba Khan, also resigned from the government.And we then had David Lammy's PPS, basically ministerial aid.

Melanie Ward also resigning, which is a little bit embarrassing for David Lammy.And the whole of his office had been completely all over the place over the last few hours.But we are now getting updates that number 10 Downing Street and the prime minister's office have now just ordered takeaways, pizza I'm assuming, to Downing Street because they have created a war room.in No .10.The cabinet room has turned into a war room so that the No .10 staff could find a way to save the Prime Minister.They are basically having pizza.

This is currently past midnight in London, as you can see up here.And the fascinating part about this is that they are calling around in the middle of the night, they are calling around the MPs, begging them to stop the rebellion because, let me just check, we are still at 70 or they say 79 now.So we are only two MPs away from the end of the Prime Minister.We'll get the confirmation on who the 79th MP is.The official number is still 78, so you need three more MPs, basically.More people are signing this.

Keir Starmer, meanwhile, is pretending everything is absolutely fine.So they have their pizzas and everything else right now.And while they're calling around the MPs, they also had a difficult challenge because a number of junior ministers just resigned from government.So they had to basically fill those jobs because it's embarrassing.So they had to also call other MPs, backbench Labour MPs in Parliament to say, would you like a job in this dying government?They finally managed to find some kids, basically, some interns.

We have the following appointments for PPS, basically, the parliamentary secretaries.These are the junior ministers.David Burton, Samson, Department for Health and Social Care, Lindsay Farnsworth, Ministry of Justice, Jane Kirkham, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Michael Payne, Home Office, Team Broker, Department for Work and Pensions and Sean Woodcock, Cabinet Office.I have no idea who these people are and I'm very much in tune with British politics.I literally don't know who these people are.It's like when the IRGC are now promoting their junior members to become generals and basically leaders of the military.

I have no idea who they are.They're getting younger and younger by the day.Same thing is happening right now with Kirsteinmann's government.I don't even know who these people are.And OK, we have a statement from a cabinet minister.Again, they're all basically the knives are out, saying in the end here has listened to cabinet ministers.

There are differences about where this will go and what is in the best interest of the party and the country.He will have to make a decision about what he's going to do before the cabinet meeting tomorrow morning.So tomorrow morning in about nine hours time, probably.there's going to be a cabinet meeting.Half the cabinets are going to bring their knives.The others, they're going to have the pitchforks, torches, and some of them are not going to turn up anyway.

And Keir Starmer is not going to sleep tonight.I can assure you, he's not going to sleep tonight because two major names have now made their moves.Yes, Shabana Mahmood on the left.the Home Secretary.And Yvette Cooper on the right, who is now the Foreign Secretary.She used to be the Home Secretary and she was so chaotic that they had to pick Shabana Mahmood to be our Home Secretaries.

It's been less than two years.We've had so many different Home Secretaries and Foreign Secretaries.Nobody knows who's actually doing what job at this point.Shabana Mahmood is Home Secretary and she's a contender.She's come out.Yvette Cooper has come out to call for Kiya Starmer to resign as Prime Minister.

These are big names.It's not just like random backbench MPs.This is a major cabinet rebellion.Tomorrow morning, the cabinet, the so -called cabinet meeting, I don't think Starmer will resign immediately tomorrow morning.It will probably be the next day because tomorrow morning is going to be the last attempt to try and see if he could convince them.I don't know why he's even trying.

It's over.Literally, it's over.The game's up.It's not up to him anymore.We've got the numbers, but it's too rushed.So it's unlikely that we're going to have the resignation speech tomorrow morning, but it could still happen, by the way.

Tonight, he could make his decision, even though they're pretending everything's fine.That's usually how it works.He could easily resign tomorrow morning, but it's still likely that he will do it on Wednesday, the 13th.of May, which means tomorrow is going to be the most hilarious day we've had in British politics in a very long time, because usually it's very boring, but it's going to be kind of fun because everything is going to affect geopolitics.His friendship with Mini Macron of France and also Mark Carney, the clown Carney of Canada, in jeopardy.Everything about geopolitics is going to be changing.

Obviously, they're going to replace him with another crazy Labour MP as leader.We know that we're going to have another Labour prime minister, but it's not about being Labour.It's about the individual.His relationship with President Trump is completely over.So geopolitics is about to change massively, even though the next person is still going to be Labour.But because they know that they have to do things differently, the next Labour leader who's going to be prime minister, whoever is going to be, is going to basically doing the exact opposite.

They're going to pretend to be the opposite of Starmer.They might even come across as right wing.You never know.Exaggeration.But they're going to lie.They're not going to be truthful.

They're going to lie.They're going to pretend to be doing the exact opposite of what Starmer was doing because they are scared of losing.So they're going to come out doing the next person might say President Trump is the best president in history.Let's launch a war.Let's go send our troops to the Middle East to help the Americans.You never know.

It's highly likely that could happen because they want to reverse the damage done by Starmer.There are WhatsApp messages that have been leaked by Labour MPs.Basically, there's a massive row with the Labour MPs tonight on whether they should back Starmer or not.We have Natasha Irons MP saying, bottom line, changing leader because Nigel Farage hasforced us to do is not something we can recover from.Anyone who thinks we can needs to wake up.

The reason she says that is because the elections we just had a few days ago Nigel Farage's party destroyed Labour so they're saying Nigel Farage is forcing this leadership change.Then we had Peter Lam MP also saying in the same WhatsApp group Anyone who thinks this is sustainable needs an MRI, need a massive scan, basically.And then we had the Lawrence Turner MP saying, we get enough insults on our socials.Let's leave them out there.Not really sure what the context of that message was, but so this is the complete chaotic situation we are dealing with.And of course, everybody is waiting for this stupid face, Andy Burnham, who is the Greater Manchester Mayor, who was an MP.

and the Labour Party is so chaotic and so incompetent that his face is seen as reasonable and professional.I know for those who know British politics it's laughable but the calibre or lack of it of politicians in the Labour Party is so bad that Andy Burnham is seen as a saviour.Ah, obviously you have Angela Rayner from the far left side of the party, and you have Andy Burnham, who is more like a brown -eyed, Blairite sort of thing.It's like a Northern Blair.It's not good.Wall Street Journal reports on Reuters and Fox, the UAE has secretly carried out attacks against the Islamic Republic.

Yes, I heard that as we landed on the plane.And in news on Stalin's rent boys.Yeah, no, not their trials.They're still ongoing.That sounded like canned applause.Oh, no, that was live press conference.

It's only been going on for a few weeks.And if Labour tries to oust Neville Starmer, like Neville Chamberlain, would he resign to save face or going to have to remove him?He won't resign for anything.So, I've said this before, the way British politics works, the prime ministers and leaders know last minute that they have to resign.They never get to a point where they are officially voted out.It's sort of like the impeachment vote, but differently.

It's internal for the party, right?A vote of no confidence.They are threatened by a vote of no confidence, and when they know they don't have the numbers, they just resign quickly.And there's a second scenario where the prime minister could win the vote, but only by a few votes.And that's not enough confidence.So after winning the vote, they resign.

We've had this.with Theresa May, Margaret Thatcher, Boris Johnson.Basically, everybody had it.They even win the vote and they still resign.But there's still a lot of them just before they get to the vote.They are told, look, that's what Catherine West is doing, the woman who is leading the rebellion.

Because again, we've had this for the past almost two years where every now and then Labour MPs say anonymously, the prime minister needs to resign.We've never had it like this tonight, where not only names are coming out.Secondly, cabinet members are calling for the resignation.And three, we have one MP literally creating a list.And we now have, what is it, 70?Yeah, 78.

Well, unofficially 79 MPs, but officially 78.We're still waiting for the last one.You need 81.So we're basically two or three MPs away.Until the prime minister knows that the game is up.It's it's done.

And they're all from different branches of the Labour Party.As I said, they're going to do the exact opposite.Doesn't mean they are the opposite, but they're going to pretend to be the opposite.So, as I said, don't be surprised if they come out in support of the war in Iran.It's going to be the most chaotic thing, but they know that they have to do something to stop Reform UK.That's all they have to do.
