Gold ring camera filter

What effect do you get if you place a gold ring in front of a lens? The ring is already polished on the inside, so it works perfectly. All that's left is to mount it in front of the camera. I made some simple wire holders and glued them to the lens. This is how I positioned it. As a result, a bright light source produces a ring-shaped flare.
