GOP Leaders PANIC IN PUBLIC as Their ENTIRE WORLD COLLAPSES

the MAGA Republican Congress members continue to lose their mind. It looks like they're just panicking on live TV during their press conferences, during press appearances. For example, you have Congresswoman McClain, MAGA Republican Congresswoman, saying the following, let's play it.

So before anyone throws around cheap insults, like one Democrat member did on social media this week, and I'll just read it. "'Lazy Mike Johnson has made himself irrelevant "'and pointless.'" You know, I always find that funny. When you can't beat us on the issues, what do children do?

They personalize it.

The leader of your MAGA cult, Congresswoman McClain, posts videos of himself taking diarrhea on peaceful protesters. Is that where you're going? Y'all are not showing up to work. So I think it's a legitimate thing to point out that MAGA Republicans in the House have forced the House to work only what, like 12 days from the past 100? Is your skin so thin

that that's what bugs you? Then you have MAGA Republican Congress member Tom Emmer says, let me tell you the issue on SNAP here. Oh, you're going to lecture us on that, Emmer says, let me tell you the issue on snap here. Oh, you're going to you're going to lecture us on that. Emmer, you're play this clip.

On the issue of snap, Democrats are bending over backward to oppose Trump using taxpayer

dollars to fund frivolous lawsuits. Frivolous lawsuits, a lawsuit by 22 attorney generals in blue states, Democratic attorney generals, to say that there's something called a SNAP contingency fund that has about five to $6 billion in it to be used precisely for purposes like this.

There's literally a bank account written into the law about SNAP. It says it, and you're attacking Democrats for wanting to give people SNAP? Oh, okay. And then Emmer goes on and then wants to be rewarded for taking away $200 billion from rural hospitals and then returning 50 billion. So stealing 150 billion, but pretending that they're giving 50. If I stole $1,000 from you and then returned $200 to you, I would have still stolen $800 from you and I don't get a reward for giving you 200 back.

But according to MAGA logic, I guess that's why Trump had so many bankruptcies and why he was convicted of felonies.

And the Democrats have contradicted themselves every turn with no exit strategy in sight. They've tried to make their shutdown fight about health care while simultaneously demanding that we cut 50 billion in rural health care and give taxpayer funded health care to illegal aliens.

You're going back to that one. You're going back to that. Well, really, I mean, as the American people are getting their notices already or any day now that their health care prices, their health care premiums will go up $24,000 a year. Some people, I'm not sure those talking points are working. Then finally you have MAGA Republican Congress member, Jason Smith. The very sound of his voice just kind of creeps me out.

And it's because of the filibuster. I think that if this continues too long, that the Senate should have a real conversation about in the time of a government shutdown, to look at making sure that you can pass a continuation of funding with just 51 votes. So you're gonna so you want to go

to that nuclear option then? I don't consider that a nuclear option. I consider shutting down government for 29 days senseless as a nuclear option. I'm

telling you this would be a Saturday Night Live skit if it wasn't so dangerous. Like who invents these human beings? Wacky humans and really harmful humans as well. So I don't want to make that much light of it. Let's bring in Democratic Congressmember Mark Pocan, Congressmember Pocan. It's great to see you sit on the Appropriations Committee. So I want to get into some of the weeds and some of that stuff. But just first, I just want to get your reaction as you see MAGA Mike and these MAGA Republicans do whatever that is every single morning.

What do you make of it?

Well, you know, I can't keep up with how many different excuses they've had since they've shut down government in about a month here. You know, I get they're on their sixth week of paid vacation, probably sitting in their basement drinking pina coladas. Clearly their minds are on vacation.

You just heard a bunch of gobbledygook that doesn't have any grounding in fact, yet they keep on changing what message they're trying because it's not hitting. I mean, Democrats are pretty clear. We're fighting for people's healthcare.

The big ugly law is gonna cost 15 million people their healthcare. The big ugly law is gonna cost 15 million people their healthcare. All of us are gonna pay more for healthcare because of what they did. And right now those Affordable Care Act tax subsidies are what's front and center. And we're glad to have that conversation.

We're consistent on it. And they're kind of all over the place trying to justify why they're not in Washington working like I am.

You know, it seems that they're too busy trying to get their VIP tables at Club Rose Garden right next to the four down East Wing of the White House or Mar-a-Lago at that kind of weirdo bordello-like scene there that they don't really understand, or they do when they're malicious, that these issues of the Affordable Care Act subsidies

and protecting people's Medicaid and healthcare generally, it's like a real issue. And no matter how many times Donald Trump says that he's gonna reduce prices by 1600% or that everything's more affordable and everyone's living their golden age

and Americans are rich, like Americans know that's a lie. Like they wake up and they're nervous and they feel psychologically tortured by what Trump and these MAGAs are doing, yet MAGAs think that they can go back to the 2024.

Well, immigrants, eating cats and dogs, can we blame transgender people?

And we're like, no, no, no, this is my healthcare.

What are you doing?

Yeah, and people are way smarter

than the Republicans think they are. You're like, no, no, no, this is my health care. What are you doing? Yeah, and people are way smarter than they,

Republicans think they are. I mean, you know, they're paying more for housing costs and that's been for a while, but now they're paying more for groceries and durable goods because of Trump's tariff taxes that all of us are paying. And then we're paying more for energy costs

because of changes they did to the Inflation Reduction Act in that big ugly law. And now we're going to pay more for healthcare for because of that same law. I have an employer in Madison who told me that their increase next year for their group plan, it went up 41%. And that wasn't even a direct attack

from the big ugly law. That was the indirect law by having uncompensated care created in hospitals across the country, totaling, I think the estimate actually is $434 billion. And then, you know, the Senate put a $50 billion band-aid on it, but that's covering $109.

So, you know, everything they've done has hurt people so they could provide a tax cut to their donors, to Elon Musk and Donald Trump and anyone who can afford to belong to, I guess we're gonna have to start saying Mar-a-Lago South because soon we're gonna have Mar-a-Lago North outside the White House. You know, by the way, I went there yesterday outside the construction site. I mean, who doesn't get permission to tear down the east wing of the Capitol, but now you're getting permission to build something new?

It's so idiotic and that they let this guy just drag them by their noses around and yet where are they on dealing with the cost of living? Nowhere. And then their excuses on the shutdown just keep being all over the place. I mean, this is a party that

unless Donald Trump says jump, they just sit there in their basements. And there is a Bernie Madoff on nuclear steroids like quality to this regime like you sit on the appropriations committee now donald trump runs around the world as he abandons the united states and his latest number has gone up to twenty two trillion dollars that he says he's brought in to the United States. It's gone up from $17 trillion two weeks ago, 18 trillion, 20 trillion, now 22 trillion. What I think he's gonna do is just make it equal the size of the entire GDP and then claim

he's responsible for the entire GDP. I think that's where it's headed. But there's a real issue here where we all know that he's lying, like it's none of that, like he'll say he brought in $1.1 trillion from Qatar, okay, their entire annual GDP is $144 billion or something. But there's a more

nefarious issue here. Because if you really, because he's creating a hope that this money is going to go to people, right. And if you really brought in $22 trillion as an appropriator, you know, that would be an amazing thing. Cause you go, wow, we've got all this revenue coming in and we solve all of our problems.

Everybody gets healthcare, everybody gets free education. And that to me is the cruelty of his $22 trillion number. And that's why to me, and I want to get your take because when you hear that number, you're on a serious committee and you expect your colleagues to be serious

when people throw out fake numbers. It's just a Ponzi scheme in plain view with the intent of what Ponzi schemers do, drag people who are suffering along

and then hold out a false hope for them. Yeah, I mean, the lies from this White House and from the congressional Republicans is so insane really and intense on this. So clearly this number is just, you know, it seems to run inverse to the weight that he claims he actually is.

He's two bucks 30, I think he said, two 30 or whatever they said it was his health report. And that number keeps going down and then this number keeps going up. But people understand if you're paying more out of pocket for goods, at groceries and other things, that is the work of tariffs. When you're paying more for things for holiday season,

that's the work of tariffs. And we have all these small businesses telling us, showing us invoices where there's a tariff surcharge that gets added as they're trying to stock up for the holidays or the manufacturers who make things that they sell to places like China. But because of the tariff wars, they can't even sell a product and that's going to ultimately

cost jobs. And we're seeing it right now in the jobs numbers. So it's kind of the opposite of whatever Donald Trump says. And, you know, maybe that was part of his cognitive test or something, I don't know, but we are hearing it from people and small business owners in particular,

the same small business owners that, by the way, many of them are on the Affordable Care Act and are about to, on November 1st, get this huge increase in their bill because of that big, ugly law. So there's a lot happening.

People are paying too much out of pocket because of Trump's tariff taxes. People are gonna pay more for healthcare and energy because of that big, ugly law. And I think, you know, we're seeing it in the polling as well, people get what's happening to them.

And, you know, I just don't know if that rhetoric other than among House and Senate Republicans, is still very persuasive.

You know, and to me, it's also very simple that one party right now wants to do everything in public. Let's do public town halls. Let's debate in public, negotiate in public, have the cameras show what we're all talking

about.

It's the Democratic Party. I've seen Leader Jeffries and others, even Schumer in the Senate said, let's do this in public. Let's make sure everybody sees it. And then you have MAGA Mike saying, ah, the theatrics, that's too theatrical.

We don't want to do it, but it's too theatrical. You're the party of Donald Trump and MAGA. What do you mean too theatrical? And then in terms of when they, when the Magus talk about, Oh, we're doing all this work in our home districts. I mean, they're not holding any town halls and like you did seven town hall. Like you're almost rubbing it in at this point. I got to be honest.

You did seven town halls in 10 days. I'm being sarcastic, of course, but you've done all these town halls. You're like, I'll meet you wherever and you went into not even your district because you're there every day saying let's talk publicly. You're like I'm gonna even go you're in Wisconsin second, MAGA Republican Van Orden's Wisconsin third, and so you're even saying okay I'll speak to your constituents too, I'll do town halls in your district because everybody in Wisconsin's feeling the pain

whether you're in the second, the third, the fourth, or whatever. So talk to us about that, because I think that's a big deal. If they were confident in their positions, they should want to speak to people openly and transparently the way you are. And we see other Democrats holding town halls and addressing people's concerns.

Yeah, you know, this is one, I was one of the early adapters of saying, if a Republican in a neighboring district or even a regional district isn't doing town halls, I mean, think about it. If you really were proud of that big ugly law that you passed, you would get on the rooftop with a megaphone, right? You'd be doing everything you could to let your constituents know what you did for them.

Instead, they're refusing to do it because they know that people don't like the cuts to education and to healthcare and to food assistance and everything to give their donors a tax break. So I did seven town halls in 10 days in Derek Van Orden's district. Derek Van Orden is most well known for being an insurrectionist on Capitol grounds on January 6th, got elected to Congress, and now he's trying to figure out what he's supposed to do here. But he's never done an open public town hall in three years. And this is a swing district

that could get us to the majority. He is not representing the district, but when I do town halls in his district for him, I hear about people concerned about the healthcare increases and what happened to food assistance for the big ugly law, much less what they're about to experience right now

because they won't go into that contingency fund. But I'm hearing all the concerns that, you know, your 101 job as a member of Congress is to listen to your constituents and bring their values to Washington, and then maybe the harder part, trying to explain Washington people back home. But, you know, now I think we had 50 members of the Progressive Caucus during the August, go into another district and do something, whether it's a town hall or a press conference. This is the type of thing we need to do. Let's get in their faces.

They have no credibility right now. They have no facts or figures on their side. They have done damage to their constituents, and we need to point that out every single day.
