Guest Tries to Insult Dave Rubin & It Gets Brutal Fast

She's a Democratic strategist and Fox News contributor and Dave Rubin, host of the Rubin Report.He left L .A.to move to Florida.Great to have both of you with us.Let me just play a bit of sound here.

This first is from Jimmy Kimmel.He is really worked up about the potential of Spencer Pratt being the mayor of Los Angeles.And then right after that, you're going to hear Jim Messina, who is a very well -known advisor to the former President Obama back then.

Watch.The polling shows that he's in a very tight race with Karen Bass and Nithya Raman.How that is possible, I have no idea.

Literally, from the cast of The Hills, would be a better mayor than Spencer Pratt.

If you look at Spencer Pratt's social media, really it's the best I've ever seen.I'm not saying he would be a good mayor, I'm not saying he's a great candidate, but he's really taken over this race with some really inventive AI outreach that I think all campaigns on both sides of the aisle can learn from.

Very interesting.You see Mr. Kimmel very upset about Spencer Pratt and the attention that he's getting.And you hear Jim Messina say he's one of the best campaigners he's seen in a really long time.Leslie, what's your take on where this is going?

I do think he's a great campaigner, and I do think it's sad that he uses AI instead of the thousands of out -of -work actors here in Los Angeles that he wants to be mayor of.Where I see it going, Martha, is where I see any election going, whether I live here like I do in Los Angeles and I will be going to vote like Caitlyn in person.I'm old school.I like that for the mayor and for the governor of our state.Here's the reality.We can show clips of videos, but homelessness has decreased 7 .8 percent here in Los Angeles.

My buddy here has left LA to go to Miami, where it's almost 4 % increase.But in addition to that, you just have to look at the numbers.

But the numbers are not even comparable, Leslie.I've got to jump in.I'm sorry.

No, that is an absolutely inaccurate comparison.

Look around.Leslie, wait.

Hold on, guys.Hold on.Are we looking at election numbers?

May I say that?

If you look at the election numbers, you have more than double the Democrats that are voting than Republicans.

Karen Bass will be there.And she's going to vote.

She's going to go to the runoff.And Spencer Pratt might as well.

She's pretending there's a bigger homeless problem in Miami.Is that what's happening?I'm going to put some numbers up, folks, because I want you to see actual numbers, OK?This is Karen Bass's program, Inside Safe Homeless, OK?It cost taxpayers in Los Angeles $391 million to get people the street.They put 1537 people into housing at a cost of $200 ,000 per person.

That is not an effective homelessness reduction program.It is extraordinarily expensive and it doesn't appear to be working, Dave.

Yeah, I mean, I can't even comment with a straight face on the comment about homeless in Miami, where we have barely any homeless and the amount of money and infrastructure that's being built here and the flourishing of the Florida economy and all that.So let's put that aside for a second.But I would say to Jimmy Kimmel, you know, it's interesting.His show is shot on Hollywood Boulevard.I know he has a lot of security guards to get in there and you have to show an I .D.

to be in the audience and everything else.But maybe Jimmy wants to walk outside onto Hollywood Boulevard where I was a week ago and see the amount of homeless people and meth addicts and fentanyl I'm not being hyperbolic and that's why you mentio Pratt's comment.Look arou should be.Look around an and you live up in the Ho you think eventually it w It will, but it has taken it has taken over huge swa and it's not just, you kn people and everything else, which does get lost sometime in this.But when you put these people out on the streets, then stores start closing.It's not safe.

for parents to take kids out.They start hanging out in parks and everywhere else.So it's the urban decay that is happening absolutely everywhere.Leslie, I do hope you'll be voting for Spencer Pratt.I'm not a Los Angelino, but you are.And I'd like you to be able to walk around safely.

What is it, Leslie?I got to be quick.And I know I jumped in on it before.I want to give Leslie a chance to respond.Is there anything compassionate about letting people sleep in dirty streets and do drugs?

No, it's not compassionate.I'm glad you brought that up, Martha, because this is about, look, to me, it's not about Democrat or Republican.I live here.I agree.Homelessness is an issue.But so is affordability.

And so is reality.And the solution is the reason I'm not voting for Spencer Pratt is not because he used to.May I finish?The reason that he's not, the reason that I'm not voting for him is not because he's a former reality star.He doesn't have experience to run the second largest city in the nation.It's because of his solutions are not realistic.
