Prince Harry banned from the Royal Wedding of the Year with the inside story, the legendary royal biographer, Angela Levin.Good morning, Angela.Good morning.Nice to see you.It's brilliant to see you and a warm welcome back to Talk Breakfast after one or two health challenges.And may I say you look fantastic.

Thank you.Someone that's not looking fantastic, rather gaunt at the moment, is Prince Harry because he's suffered an almighty royal snub, he hasn't been invited, according to press reports, to Peter Phillips' wedding.Well, Peter Phillips is his cousin and they were very close whilst Harry was growing up.

Yes, but they hadn't seen each other for a very long time.And I think that my view is that the lady who's getting married, Harriet Spurling, wouldn't want Meghan there at the wedding.Because if you remember, Eugenie had a wedding very soon after Harry and Meghan had a wedding.And Meghan ruined it by telling everyone that she was pregnant.And everybody was absolutely, thank you, wonderful, how lovely, and Eugenie was very, very upset about it.Now, if this gal, Harriet, has got any sense, she wouldn't have had her.

Also, I don't think that neither of them, her nor Philip, would want them in the building.You know, it's not a friendship anymore, because they haven't been talking to each other for a long time.But they don't want something going wrong.Well, what is Harry going to do?You know, you can't take any surety that he's actually going to come have a nice time.

He can't be trusted.He's an emotional wrecking ball.And he will always make any event about himself.

Yes, he can only see it what's happened to him.The fact that he wrote a book which was absolutely, it was so revolting, so horrible and not even true.And then if someone says,you can't come to the wedding Then he gets like a child.I think this is megan building it up I'm, sorry to just keep saying that but I think it is but the other person is mike tindall Who actually has been very very friendly with harry?But um, he said at this a book fair that harry is no fun anymore now harry will be very upset because they were very good friends mike tindall is is married to zara phillips who's daughter of Princess Anne, and they don't want them around.

They absolutely don't.So if you behave like that, you have to have the answer to it.

Well, that's right.Mike Tindall, as you've mentioned, rugby hero, and now the husband, very happily married to Zara Phillips, who is the daughter of Princess Anne, as you've said.And Mike Tindall and Harry were best mates But Tyndall seems to have fallen out with Harry in a big way.And this seems to go back, Angela, to 2022 and the last time that Harry and Meghan were in the UK.And Tyndall very publicly snubbed the couple then.Mike Tyndall is done with Harry.

Yes.

Well, quite right.You know, he's a tough guy, Mike.

Yeah.

He's loving and he's very caring.He fits in with the royal family extremely well, but he's not going to take anything nasty said to him or anybody of his family.He's just not going to do it.He likes bantering and he actually said that people shouldn't have said anything.James Haskell, his friend, because of this new book there, selling, which is the good, the bad, and rugby.Give that a push for him.

But they were sort of fine and good friends.But when somebody mentioned Harry, boom, he's out.And that's what's happened.The royal family does not want Harry, and especially Meghan, around.And they're not letting them go.They're pushing back and pushing back.

But, you know, I think that's fair enough if you don't like somebody and they've behaved badly.They think, see, should you just put it on the shelf?Don't worry, you know, if I'm nasty, put it on the shelf and let's move on.But it's childish.It's ridiculous.It's like saying that Megan did that, how to look after children.

Then she had this terrible picture of the child looking up to her, sort of selling it of her talking about children being looked after.They haven't got any idea how anything can, one thing can mean another.

Well that's exactly right and of course they are complete hypocrites and they often do the opposite of what they say such as protecting children from the dangers of social media whilst putting Archie and Lily on Instagram every 10 seconds.You know Harry well.You are his biographer and you've spent months in his company when he was a younger, happier man.Can you relate to what Mike Tindall is saying about how, in the old days, Harry was fun and he's not fun anymore?

Yeah, I spent 15 months with him.He was lovely.He was good fun.He could get a bit annoyed, but he was lovely with the children who were from difficult families.He was fine to people who'd had bad effects from the wars.And he was nice.

He was funny.He was very kind to me.We had nice chats.He could just get a little bit irritable, but that's a lot of people do if they're very busy.But overall, I got on with him very well.I liked him a lot.

And but when Megan came in, he got very nervous.And one of hisaides said, you know, he's desperate that she wants to marry him.So he was...I could see how nervous he was, but then the whole thing that happened was actually ridiculous, really.

And can you describe Harry now, compared to the Harry you knew?How would you characterise Harry in 2026?

I think he's a nasty, spiteful liar.thinks only of himself, terrified of Meghan, and that he wants to get the royal family switched out so he can get switched in and give Meghan the best job ever.I think he wants her to be queen, I think I've told you that before, but with Harry, you know, he's determined.that everybody thinks that she is as amazing as he does, but he's got it all wrong.It's very sad.

The whole thing is sad, isn't it, Angela?

It's very sad, and I'm very scared that he will persuade the King to let him come back, and it will be dreadful, because he'll take back.Meghan, it will be hell, because they won't listen, they won't fit in.

It's a shocker.And by the way, at this wedding, Harry's had no invite, reportedly.No.But it's very likely the King and William will be there.

Yes, I think they are intended to go, but we don't know yet.It's supposed to be a very quiet wedding.It's on June the 6th, but it is a second wedding for both of them.And sensibly, they don't want a huge, big wedding.But I think they might go.It depends, actually, if Princess Anne wants her brother to come along.

But it's definitely not being asked, and she doesn't want that.there.And that's very, very sensible, I think.You don't want to start an argument.
