Welcome back to Not Enough Nelsons. Oh my gosh, girls, the time is finally here

and we are doing your home makeover! Woo!

Guys, we've been living here now for like what,

seven months?

Six, seven months?

Oh no. Yes, so in that time, you went from having like a king bed, you're like, oh, we're okay to share, to like, no way, we're not sharing anymore, to two beds, but they didn't fit on the wall you wanted, so you moved there, so then you moved, anyway, so everything's kind of blown up in their room,

and so they've been super excited to get their room done. Ladies went first.

Then Elsie. All right, so we will take you guys along with us. It'll be so cute. I know it's gonna turn out fabulous, but it has to be quick because guys, during the same time, Lily's wedding is like three weeks away.

Holy cow!

And so I got some major wedding planning to do. So I think that in a little while, I'm gonna be bouncing back and forth between planning a wedding and doing a room makeover, and it's gonna kind of go through like a rundown of what they want different in this room.

All right, let's get started. Let's get started.

All right, Presley. First off, we have two vanities.

I think we're gonna put one there and one there.

Okay. bookshelf right there, your vanity can go out there. In the hallway? You don't want your vanity in the hallway, Presley? She's not even gonna answer that question.

All right, okay, so you're kind of thinking

But if we have two vanities, it should be like crazy. Dude, both of you need a vanity, so. You're not the only one down to one vanity. All right, so we've got this wall right here, you guys, right now. It has both of their vanities, which is fun, but it makes it so their beds,

And these little things right here, these are kind of cute little, I don't really know what you call them, like niches? Ooh, maybe some oil. Oil can. A little bit cuter in there. We were thinking we should make this a TV area. Oh yeah, a TV.

We're gonna put a couch here and a TV right there.

Oh, oh really. Do you know how many people have asked to have TVs in their bedrooms?

Well, just like Delaney has one.

Nope, Delaney doesn't have one.

Cass had one and then when she moved in there, like cause for the spare bedroom, we actually took it out now. So, all right, this will be a conversation for another moment, but let's keep going on.

All right, now this dresser, I think it's gonna have to go out if you're gonna try to do a vanity there.

I like this though, because we need the room.

It is a cute dresser too, and the mirror is super chunky and fun, which is awesome. Okay, we'll figure out this. And then the bed area, I don't know. I wish we could fit both vanities over there and then not there, but that doesn't work, so.

both vanities right here, a bookshelf, couches, and drawers.

All right, so they're trying to get both beds there. Are you guys open to like a bunk bed situation?

How are we in this closet I need more room I need more space maybe shorts could like go like in cute no something bins up here and just sure it could be there no we need our shorts there because we always okay I'm just trying to help I'll have to brainstorm this area cuz this is not working. But now it's hard to bathroom. All right, bathroom. For a bathroom, there's nothing we really need to fix.

We just need that a little bit more.

But I have this plan with dad

that we would never use this bathtub

No, a love it. I love, love, love all these ideas. I love this idea. But the problem is I'm trying to do this room makeover in just a matter of a few days because I don't want you guys not to be able to sleep in your room for like months. And I have a wedding to plan, people.

I don't have time for a full renovation.

I don't have time for this.

So we're gonna make this all gorgeous. Guys, will you guys go shopping with me right now before you have cheer? You guys have cheer really soon, so they're gonna get ready for cheer. We're gonna go to the other side of the island, do a little bit of shopping, because I want to get a flavor for the decor that you guys want,

like kind of the feeling that you want in here. I literally have nothing yet, and so I hope that the other side of the island has everything. We bought for ourselves. Okay, okay a beautiful picture. Okay, and these flowers that Wow, all right you guys get ready for cheer and let's go shopping Okay, I'm gonna do the before is really quick so that you guys can see what this place looks like before. ♪ A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do in the bus ♪

All right, guys, while they're getting ready for cheer, I'm gonna show you kind of what's going on with the wedding situation. Okay guys, so here is the situation. So these are the colors right here. Like this is the Pinterest board look that Lily is wanting. I think that it's like kind of it's springy, but also like a rich springy.

She's got like burgundies, greens, but also like a little bit of like purple, light pink and light yellow. So I think that's going to be super pretty. So right now I've gotten most of the girls dresses ordered. I still need to get my dress and Paisley's dress but I think everyone else's is ordered. And then we're ordering flowers and these are kind of the look of the flowers that she wants. So oh they're just beautiful. Simple. I love the green kind of drapey down floral. This is kind of the look that her florals are going to be. And then she has this picked out for the guys, like these kind of suits,

kind of like a bluish gray color. I think it's gonna end up really, really pretty. So we went back and forth a little bit with venues because there's some really pretty venues in Utah where we would have the actual ceremony, but nothing kind of quite fits as well as the castle house.

The day before in the temple that's in the area of our faith. It's the beautiful temple in St. George. So they're gonna get married and sealed in the temple. And then the next day, they're going to have their reception and kind of their open house. But they are going to have a ring ceremony, which is super special.

If you remember in this video, Kennedy did a ring ceremony. It's really sweet. It's like where everyone walks down the aisle and like the bride and the groom meet together at the end. When I first set my eyes on you

It's gonna be really really beautiful And so I think we've gotten most of that taken care of I've got like the drapes I got the tables the chairs are on order a lot of the stuff is I think secured We're trying to figure out the food situation. I think it's gonna be really really beautiful

It's gonna be so much fun. Her and Marcus are just the most adorable couple ever and we couldn't be happier to welcome Marcus into our family. He is such an amazing, amazing young man. So excited there.

I still have some planning to do with invitations. We're finalizing those. This is kind of what they look like. They turned out super cute. Actually, Janie put those together for us. She's very creative and very good.

And so we're getting those printed and Janie's gonna do the hard work of like addressing the labels and all that kind of stuff. And she's gonna get them all mailed out. So that's on her to do. She's sweet, isn't she? And then we just gotta finalize the food, the flowers, the decor that goes on the tables and stuff. I think I have some leftover from

Kennedy's and Cassidy's weddings. I don't really have anything from Che and Izzy's wedding because they had it here in Maui.

to finish up Paisley and Precious's room makeover. And then I'm heading to Utah, just me and Benji to do some final touches on the wedding. And that weekend we are going to the temple for the first time, which will be really beautiful and we'll be there for that too. So, so special, so many fun things.

Okay, now it's time to go shopping for the room makeover. All right, we are in the car. We've got Presley, Paisley, they're all bowed out

for cheer practice.

You guys look good, you do, you kind of look like twinners, holy cow. And we have dad! All right, so we're out of the way, let's go shopping and see what look these guys want. like kinda just like bright colors, but I don't want how to explain it all

For our room I have like pink blue colors I just want like pops of colors everywhere kind of I just wanted to be like not Random things in like corners because that always isn't happening. I just want us to like to have everything that we need and everything. I don't know.

While we're driving to the other side of the island, will You guys do agree with me that that's like Lily's wedding only in a bedroom? That's literally her colors Okay, so Presley and Paisley are gonna have to like come to some kind of agreement here Hopefully they can within the next 45 minutes while we drive to the other side of the island We found places where there's no sense of time You look at these cute surfboards over here here cute

Thank you. Hi! The next morning. Alright guys, it is day two. I need a little bit of encouragement. I'm a little bit overwhelmed, which is fine.

But here's what I have to do today.

So today I have got to completely clean out the room and definitely get started.

I'm hoping that they're going to be able to deliver the bed today. I had already figured that they wanted a bunk bed situation so I already ordered one and it's supposed to be delivered today and they're gonna put it together so I need to go clear everything out and make a space for them to put the bed together and then I've got to jump on a quick phone call with Lily because she's meeting with a seamstress today and just kind of gonna go over the little fixes on her dress that she needs to have done. I think they're bringing up the bustle

and like fixing the shoulders and everything. So I may give you a little sneak peek at that. And then guys, what I didn't tell you is Beckham has a birthday party tomorrow. It is Beckham's 11th birthday in the mix of all of this. And then I am leaving on Sunday.

So it's Friday today, kids are at school. I gotta get a whole bunch done today. Yeah, we'll see. It's fine, I'm fine. All right, it's time to go look at the current situation up in the girls' room. It's time to stress drive. Okay, so we brought in everything out of the truck,

the Hummer. We had to actually go to the cheer gym because we needed to put some stuff in the back while they were at cheer, but it's all brought up here. It's a little messy, promise. It's gonna all come together. And let's see what we got going on here. Okay, so I got these two cute chairs,

and today I have a little, ooh, I hope it will fit. Ah, a little like, settee or sofa that's gonna go there. And so I've got that coming. I've got some decor here. I didn't get a picture for here but I do have a big pretty picture that might work. I'm planning on putting that there. Worst case I could put that mirror because it's pretty. I could just clean it up really good and put it

up there. And I'm deciding what to do with these. I think for now I will go ahead and place them in the niches on both of these here and then I'll put the bed there. That's my plan of action. Oh, I have to show you something else. Look how cute. So I got this outdoor rug right here and I got these chairs. I'm gonna make a cute little sitting area out here as well.

So I think it's gonna turn out really cute. I just have to have enough energy, make it happen in the next 48 hours.

All right guys, I have gathered a troop because the rest are at school. Benji is here. He's going to help me. Basically, you have to tear all this stuff apart as far as like get all their makeup and put it in a bin and move these out of the way so that we can have our bed built.

bed built get everything done and what if we tell them I'm so sorry but you're not gonna be able to sleep in your room while we're gone to help Lily plan her wedding next week and what if we don't finish it totally until we get back because if I do that I would be able to order two new vanities so I can kind of say trust me it's worth the wait but then they don't want to sleep in their room for a week. The whole week.

How are they gonna get ready for school We just moved all of their makeup into bins.

They will be gone so they can use our bathroom.

I don't know if they're working. I have my slider. I think I borrowed the other grade because I thought they could be surfboards or something for people to play with down by the pool.

Guys, it's all falling apart. Guys, look. It's all just kind of falling apart. And then these breaks and these breaks. They did kind of come with that mirror already broken on Paisley's. I don't know guys. I think where they like film on their own channel a lot of times at their vanity and stuff.

That maybe needs to be something that I add to their room makeover is new vanities. And that will also be super fun for them to come into with the new room makeover. Also, if I was to give it another week, I would have time to redo the rope lighting in here like I did in Elsie's, which, I mean, it made her room look way better, way nicer, brighter, all of the things. So I just gotta figure out now a way

that I can keep them from coming in here for a week while I'm gone. Okay, guys, so for the goal for today is I'm going to get the bed here. I'm going to put the mattresses on the bed and get the bed made. I can get the couch delivered which will go in front of the fireplace and put the chairs and try to get that area done. Basically, what if I just get everything done by tomorrow night except for vanities back up and make sure the cove lighting is done and just do the finishing touches so I maybe can do that so okay that's the new plan I just don't know what they're gonna do

for a whole entire week without having a room. A lot of time goes into it. We're gonna hurry and get everything moved out of that entryway.

Alright guys the bed delivery people are going to be here anytime soon. Actually called Offshore Express is who is delivering it. They are amazing by the way. If you ever need anything moved from Ireland to the States, anyway, they're amazing. Called Offshore Express. But they are delivering our beds. I'm going to put it all together. And so we will time lapse that and then we will make their beds super cute a few minutes later. Okay guys, I'm just gonna go for it. Hopefully they like it I don't know if they're gonna this only wallpaper I have and I don't have time to wait till I get other wallpapers

I'm just gonna go for it and yeah I'm gonna try to get it done before they get here with the delivery of my bed They haven't called yet for me to open the gate So I'm hoping I just have like a half hour 45 minutes before they come and i can finish the office work. all right guys they are up there building the bed. i can't really do much in there right now and time is already up today because benji is gone getting the kids from school right now. so i don't know how far I'm going to get today,

but some good news is they are delivering the couch right now. I mean, that's kind of good news. That's very good news. So you can't tell I'm a little bit disheartened because we're just not going to get very far before I have to go back to Utah to plan the wedding. And so it's all good. Both of them were not put together well and a couple of your mirrors are broken and stuff. So, what if?

That's why you don't put me and Presley up to doing it.

You guys did a good job. This is your first time putting together a whole big thing

Can I just tell you something? Sure. If I put it together, it probably would've looked the same way and torn apart because it's just the materials on it. Yeah, probably was more of the materials.

That would've made dad, you know, that would've made his confidence lag, so this is good.

Way to protect dad's confidence. All right, so here's the problem though. You gotta know that I'm gonna be able to get your room done by the time I leave. That's the bad news. The good news is, is what if I order you guys like brand new vanities?

So the second I come back, it's all done. I get as much done as I can before I go. And then when I come back, all we do is put up your vanities, finishing touches and boom. You're not gonna have a room for a week. But we can still sleep in there. No, because I'm in the middle of decorating it. I don't want you to see it.

I'm sleeping on my bed.

I have to see what I have to do. I need my bed and I need a vanity.

And I need a room.

If you guys are gonna sleep on your bed Yeah, because when it only took you like four days, it's gonna take us almost a week and a half. Okay, well then here's the problem though, then I can't finish very much of it because I don't want you guys to see it halfway through.

No, if I decorate half of it all out, then you're gonna see it. Well, where would we sleep? You guys could sleep on the couch in the theater room. No. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Now back up here to move the mattress on the bed. All right. Now we're going to do this one up here. All right guys, we are going to try to take these downstairs because we're going to have to

order new ones. So we called Navey and Delaney to come help us. ♪ I'm stuck on you so stuck with me through all ♪

Now, can you guys bring these down to the garage? This one and this one. We can bring the couch up and put it in that spot where it's supposed to go. So two people per one of these. Dad and Delaney the first one and me,

or Dad and maybe the first one. The dad's bringing this down. Big part of getting this room done is getting everything, put where it's supposed to go and out of here and then we can start decorating it.

when I get back from helping Lily with the wedding. Good morning guys, it is Saturday. Okay, so today is Beckham's birthday party, so I've got a plan around that. I'm gonna see what I can get accomplished in the girls' room and go from there.

Like, I might not put so much pressure on myself. There is just no way that I can finish before I leave out of town tomorrow. So I'm gonna get the most that I can, and these guys are just gonna have to sleep in a theater room or bunk up with Navey or one of the other girls for a while while I'm gone. It's not that big of a deal.

It'll only be a few days and then when I get back, I will quickly finish it and I will show them. So I'm going to bring you along with us to Rebecca's birthday party. All right, Mr. B.

I just feel kind of a little bit torn. And so like in this moment, I totally want to finish this room for the girls, but I also feel like Beckham's only turning 11 once. And like, this is his big party that he wants with his friends to feel like a big boy.

And so, yeah, I kind of think I'm just gonna have to go down and be present with him versus finish this room. But in this moment, I think I have to choose Beckham.

The next morning. Hey guys. So it is now Sunday, the day that I leave. We got back from church and I just got dressed

and I was going to go work a little bit more in the girls' room and see what I could do. But like I said, I just don't think it's going to come together. them yet because I think that there's like Paisley's like mom you're gonna work on my room today I'm like ah but we literally go in like five or six hours I just don't think I can get it done at least I don't know. I don't know. Guys it's so hard like you guys know this is just really it's a hard thing for all moms it does never mind that I have 16 kids like

my kids are going through like big things all the time like Kennedy just had her second baby and they need their mom even though they're adult kids and like I'm so happy for Lily like she's getting married like she's taking this huge next big step into her life with Marcus and like it's just such a huge thing and that's just coming in just a couple weeks and so I'm trying to juggle that and anyway I just don't know if she really feels like I'm there for her just because we're Claire and Maui and I'm just doing all of the things over phone calls and different things and I did help her go choose her dress but everything else has been over the phone and so I am really excited to go this

week and just spend a few days with Lily trying to finish up planning so that's super important to me but then I also like cute little mr. B you saw him you wanted me to be at his party yesterday and I feel like I had to choose him he's She was gonna be only little for a very short time. And some of you moms out there know how fast it goes. It goes so fast. And so I like wanted to be there for him and celebrate and make it super fun with the whole stranger things theme.

We came up with this theme like a month ago and we thought it would be super cute and super fun. And I left the room yesterday to make it special for him. And then I've got, you know, my two girls. that are sharing your room and like they're kind of figured out and I just I so want that feeling for them of like your room's all clean it's all organized it's beautiful like it has that mom touch that I like to give to it to where it just feels so comforting and anyway and I just really wanted to get that

done for them too at the same time but I just don't think I'm gonna be able to and it comes a point in every mom's life you know that you like can't be everywhere at once. I wish so bad that I could be like literally 16 of me and so I could be there all day long for my kids needs but at the same time I can't you know and I can't put that kind of pressure on myself either but I also want to like catch all these huge milestones in their life. So anyway my heart is really tender today but I think I'm gonna go talk to Paisley and Presley. I'll just let them go in their room and kind of just see what the situation is, it's bad. And just, hopefully they can understand. And then maybe when I come back,

maybe we can like finish it together or something. I don't know, we can figure it out.

But I'm waiting for those to come anyway and they're not going to be here in time. So, do you guys forgive me for not finishing your room in time? Yeah.
