This is my $300 headset and it sounds really bad.But the other day I was at Best Buy and I found a $600 gaming headset by the same company that made my awful $300 headset.And so today we are going to unbox a $600 gaming headset and see if it is better than my awful $300 gaming headset.This is the box the microphone comes in.It is called the SteelSeries Arctic Nova Elite.This is what it looks like when you open the box.
In the box we have instruction manual.We got the connection hub.Wait a minute...THIS IS THE SAME HUB AS MY CURRENT HEADSET!THIS IS WHAT THE HUB FOR MY CURRENT HEADSET LOOKS LIKE!The only difference between my current headset and this headsets hub is that they used gold paint on the turn wheel.
headset looks identical to my current one.We still need to test it to find out if it sounds better.I'm going to change over the microphone in three, two, one.
This is the $600 headset mic.This doesn't sound that much better.It's $600 chat.For $600, it should sound amazing.And it sounds just marginally better than this mic.I have to try screaming into it.
I feel like it doesn't sound as funny as this mic.I'm not impressed with this headset at all.For $600, this is highway robbery.
