We walked out of our hotel today to see thousands of police officers surrounding our entire building.Now, I don't know about you, but that does not make me feel safe at all.So I was like, let's go out for a few hours and come back later.Turns out that was the worst idea ever.Now, we've been to New York a few times, but there's some places we've never been to.Like we've done all the touristy places like Times Square, Central Park and all that.

But we've heard there's some hidden little gems here.So we're going to go check them out.First off, obviously, Deja had to get her shopping fix in.I swear this girl has the biggest shopping problem.I'm not going to lie.I did want to buy this shirt.

Also, New York smells in the summertime.So in New York, for some reason, people leave their trash out on the sidewalk, and with the heat, it is not a good combination.I will say though, I actually like summertime in New York.Their winters, oh my gosh, if you've ever experienced a New York winter, it is not fun.Anyways, we found this place called Little Italy, and I've never been to Italy, but this is exactly what I imagined Italy to be like.Just like cute little restaurants sitting outside, and the food was so good.

We couldn't finish it though, so we gave it to someone in need.Oh, we also got matching shirts for tonight, so if you didn't know, Deja and I and I are obsessed with Love Island.This is actually the first time we're ever watching a season in the USA because we've never been able to watch it.Anyways, we get the shirts and I'm like, okay, let's go back to the hotel.Like, I want to watch the next episode as soon as it's out.Deja's like, mom, relax, seriously.

It's going to take us like five minutes to get home.Can we just go take some pictures first and then we can go.So we take the pics, start heading home and girl, every single road was closed.Instead of a five minute walk, it literally took us nearly an hour because the Knicks were playing.They even lit up the Eiffel Tower in the Knicks colors.Anyways, we finally got home and it was such a good episode, okay bye!
