Carl Jacobs was hosting an event for the best of the best Minecraft players.These names include insanely good players like ItsRealMe, Floatives, Coldified, and me?Alright, alright, I don't know how I got into this event.I am nowhere near the top 25 when it comes to raw skill.But maybe Carl invited me not for my skill, but for my smarts.To be fair, nobody knew what game modes we would be competing in.

Maybe some of the game modes wouldn't be PvP focused.Maybe some would value smart decision making more than raw skill.And maybe, just maybe, I could pull off a miracle and win this event.But all my hopes and dreams were immediately thrown out the window when I heard that the first event was a total deathmatch between 25 of the best players.

I am so boned.You're telling me I just sat here for two hours to probably get slimed out immediately?Now my initial strategy was to avoid any sort of conflict, and cozy up to the best players.But then I realized something.ItsRealMe didn't trust me, but he wasn't killing me.Nobody wanted to pick a fight, because if you attacked someone, you would be seen as hostile.

But after about an hour of doing nothing, the stalemate finally broke.So I guess that's how it's gonna be.If you do anything, you die.So I thought I'd try and fix this by talking to Carl Jacobs.Since Carl wasn't gonna do anything, I'd have to think of a solution.But as I pondered, I noticed a trend.

People were dying left and right, for pretty much no reason.Someone would say a name, and the entire mob would converge on that one person.

This was a terrifying fate, and honestly, I thought I was next, so I had to do something about it.All it took was for one person to say, let's kill Jude Law, and everyone else would be on board, because why wouldn't they be?Killing me is just one step closer to the next round.And honestly, I would do the exact same thing if someone else's name got called.And then I heard something interesting.I heard Fairy MC say, oh, I don't want to kill people.

The first team to die would be eliminated from the video.The first thing I did was grab this totem.I could use it to respawn a teammate in case one of us died.But as we were chasing down red with murderous intent, I realized something.Blue was nowhere to be seen, because they wanted to just sit back and do nothing and let us fight it out.Which is pretty lame.

So I thought of an even lamer strategy.What if we pretended to fight, and then just ganked them?

We all start moshpitting and as soon as blue comes we just turn on them Yeah, yeah, don't actually fight don't actually fight Just just weak hit weak hit you might have to use one gap like just weak hit you know Like clockwork, as soon as we started fighting, blue team tried to pull up.

So it was time for us to turn on them.

So we had to get out of there because we had no idea where infim was Oh my god that water bucket You gotta go kill blue bro, we're fighting everyone everyone This was really bad.

I was low on healing and sharpness and ghosty fruit were dead This was it.Floatives, one of the world's best players, was now on my white precious ass.But I had one last hope, the respawn totem.If I could get back to my platform, I could revive Sharpness, and we could take on the 2v2.

But it actually made sense.take a look at the leaderboard, you'll notice that we're neck and neck.If you wanted to move on, you'd have to place 6th or higher, so it actually made the most sense to target other players lower on the leaderboard, especially if you're low on the leaderboard yourself.So I followed Sharpness's strategy and targeted the person one spot in front of me. I'm sorry ghosty fruit, your time has come.I had survived yet again, and finally, I caught a break.The next round was a revival round.

One player from all eliminated players was coming back.I just had to hope that a skilled player like ItsRealMe or Coldified wouldn't win.Yeah, this was probably the worst possible outcome.The best player in the world was coming back into the competition.But luckily for me, the next game mode was actually not a PvP game mode.

If you look above your heads, you each have a certain amount of money, and that money correlates with how many points you received in the King of the Hill match.In a moment, there is going to be waves of mobs pouring in, And we're basically just gonna run this until there's only two people standing.

This game mode would have no PvP, and instead it would be the players versus the zombies.Since only two people could move on, I figured that the best strategy would be to team with one other person.I would have their back, and they would have my back.And even though Sharpness explicitly targeted me in the last game mode, I figured we should just team, since he's one of the better PvP players.And the last people to trust coldified in an event got fucked over for 16k.

It was at this moment I realized I was about to go head to head against the world's best PvPer.I crossed my fingers and crossed my toes and prayed.But the last game mode wouldn't be PvP.

I knew it And of course the final game had to be a pvp game.Yeah, i'm not gonna lie There's no world where I beat coldified in a 1v1 But that's when carl said this wouldn't be a 1v1 but to make it a little bit more fun We're giving you guys each an army of 50 soldiers to work with oh my god there would actually be some strategy to this game and maybe just maybe i'd have a chance to win it's a little protect the president style game are we the president I'm the president!Oh, wait, fuck, I don't want to be the president.Okay, I actually have an idea.This was actually winnable.I had an army to lead, and the soldiers could respawn, meaning if I just made a better strategy, I could actually beat Coldified.

My strategy was to have 80 % of the people pushing Coldified, and 20 % of the people defending me. I figured that playing aggressive was the key to victory here.
