I can't believe I'm about to say this, but the one consistent aspect of Donald Trump's presidency, the second term that I've seen that doesn't seem to cease, is his desire to collect trophies he has not earned. And it is nonstop. It is nonstop participation trophy after participation trophy. And here we have the Speaker of the House, little Moses Mike, giving him a trophy.

The president has done so much for the American people and we want to honor him in some small way, some token of our appreciation for his leadership. And so tonight we have created a new award. We have, we're going to do something we've never done before. We're going to honor him with a new award that we'll present annually from this point forward. But he is the suitable and fitting recipient of the first ever America First Award. We can

think of no better title think what that is. That's just

that these people are for of personal accountability, you know, and the people that are like, kids these days, if you're a loser, you're a loser, you shouldn't get a participation trophy. We need to get rid of them. That's some libtard shit.

And then they vote for this guy who it is a revolving door of participation trophies. You have FIFA, Little Grinder, all of these people making up trophies. Tim Cook, all of these people get making up trophies and giving them to him. And here's just another one. And I guess you can't shame the shameless and these people that he stands there and then the applause like that nobody in that room is going, give me a fucking break.

This guy and these trophies, I've had it. Here's the thing, and I always say it when it comes to this, why is Trump not embarrassed? Because it is so obviously a made up trophy to gain his favor. And then I thought, can there be some kind of law or regulation that as president, if you need fake participation trophies to make you feel good, that in itself disqualifies you from being the president of the United States.

Because if you are that insecure that a made up trophy makes you feel better, you have no business being in a position of power. I mean, he has no business being in the position of power for a multitude of reasons. And I think just adding the klepto nature of trophies, like I've seen him steal trophies, it's humiliating. I meanies. It's humiliating. I mean, it's absolutely humiliating.

And then they have, okay, we're in a war and Trump keeps messing up and he keeps saying, it's a war. Oh no, it's a military operation. We won the war. We're going to win the war. Oh wait, I mean, this little altercation that we're having.

And in MAGA world, it's stunning that if you look at polling right before the invasion of Iran or the air raids of Iran, like 20% or something low supported that military action immediately after it goes up to like the high 80s, low 90s of MAGA supporters. So basically whatever he does is what they support. So it's super easy to keep them going and you just have to have somebody like Senator Kennedy get on Fox and say the following statement.

And I guess this is just what does it for a huge portion of our electorate.

Here's why we went in to Iran. We had no choice. The president didn't start a war. He was trying to stop a war.

OK. Senator Kennedy, he was not trying to stop a war. Okay, Senator Kendi, he was not trying to stop a war. In fact, he actually started the war. There is very legitimate reporting that a deal was in place between the Americans and the Iranians, and just hours before that was to be inked, which was basically the same deal that Obama had that they ripped up, they started the air raid. And so this is a fundamental problem with the breakdown of democracy is allowing so

much of this propaganda in. Of course, Senator Kennedy is going to get zero pushback on that channel. And so then these people that just wake up and I'm like, okay, what do we believe in today? Go, okay, here's the deal. I know that he punched his wife, but he was really trying to protect her. That's the logic. That's the logic that MAGA uses, and they do it with impunity in the Western media. I look at this and I think, you know, when you become a society that no longer values

facts, when you would rather look at propaganda than and have willful denial about the facts, this is where, this is where it gets you. You get to some dumb shit on there completely lying with no pushback and the side that supports him will support no matter what. They don't care even if it's taking money out of their own pockets. Even if they are suffering, they will do it because they would rather do it than have to, you know, use pronouns or respect women, not be racist, whatever the reason, they're willing to sacrifice from their own pockets

to protect this fucking bozo. And I even, I'm not even lying, I saw a deal on social media that was like, is this Trump using 4D chess going back and forth with, we won the war, we're negotiating. And I'm just like, are you fucking kidding me? Iran is saying, go fuck yourself because you are not winning.

But they're sitting there, 4D chess, are you kidding? It's stunning. It's a cult. It's a cult. It is a cult. Okay, moving along. The reason why there's so much back and forth about it's a war, it's not a war, it's a war, it's not a war, because it is a war and he didn't get Congress's approval. Therefore, it is an illegal, unconstitutional war.

And the Republicans are allowing this, and many members of the Democratic Party are not an opposition party. And as we think about strategy moving into midterms in 2028, history shows us these wars in the Middle East are wildly unpopular with the American public. The American public does not have the stomach for it, does not see the point to it, because oftentimes there's no benefit for the homeland.

And typically the anti-war candidates after these quagmires in the Middle East are the ones that win. Look no further than Barack Obama, who was in a primary match with John Edwards and Hillary Clinton. They both voted for the Iraq War. Barack Obama did not. He was the anti-war candidate. And then he ultimately ran against John McCain, supporter of the Iraq War. Obama was an anti-war candidate. Of course, Obama was also like a once-in generation amazing politician. So I just wanted to say that. But here he is admitting, Trump,

that he is violating the Constitution. Oftentimes this guy, because he can't help himself, loose lips sink ships. He admits what he's doing. Play the clip.

But they're doing it for two reasons. Number one is they want to deflect from all of the tremendous success that we're having in this military operation. I won't use the word war, because they say if you use the word war,

that's maybe not a good thing to do. They don't like the word war, because you're supposed to get approval. So I'll use the word military operation, which is really what it is. It's called a military decimation.

But they don't like the good publicity. They don't like to see us succeed. They want to see our country fail.

So military operation.

It's bad. Decimation. But what he said there is so stunning, that that isn't the top of the fold. You know, chyrons on every news channel. President admits he did not get approval for war. He just admitted it there.

And the impunity that he is able to commit crimes in this country. It's so it overwhelms me so much sometimes. It's so bizarre. There's so many experiences I have every day of, oh, this is America, I'm an American, and everything seems normal. And then I get into the news cycle, and simultaneously, as some things are normal, there's this crime syndicate in the oval that is dismantling our Constitution,

that is dismantling the Justice Department, dismantling the houses of Congress, are capitulating. The Supreme Court has this shadow docket that's going. And so you know that while you're living parts of your life that still feel normal, that they are imposing generational damage. And then I start thinking about the midterms that are coming up and ICE agents terrorizing people. I know that our listeners and viewers feel this too, but it's sometimes it's just it's a lot to soak in.

And the fact that he just admitted that right here, and you kind of have to dig around the internet to find that clip, is really stunning as to where we are. Because of course he says that, of course he's breaking the law. Why isn't that a priority? Why aren't the Democrats screaming and having press conferences every night?

No more illegal wars with your money. No more, we are gonna be good stewards to your taxpayer money. We're gonna fight for you. We're not going into another war and watching Americans die.

We're not going into another war and not funding healthcare. We're not going into another war and neglecting our infrastructure and all of the things that we need to do to make us better. And you just, you don't really see it.

And it's so depressing. It really depresses me. Oh, it's so depressing. And I look at it and I think this is the result of no accountability. Donald Trump has never been held accountable. Going back to New York and the racial profiling

in tenancies, he has been able to get away with crimes, bad business deals for decades. And you look at the House, the Senate, Merrick Garland's FBI, the Supreme Court, never been held to account. And then you look at the voter and the US population. Again, they were unwilling to hold him accountable for being amoral, for being a criminal, for

being unethical, for being a buffoon. So it's just a collapse of accountability across the board. It really is. Okay. And then this is, this is what we're dealing with. I started this episode off talking about the heat that this man has to receive trophies he hasn't earned and his insatiable appetite for trophies is so massive that people left and right are inventing new awards to give to him.

The same man who just admitted breaking the law and funding a war without congressional approval. This is how they have to prepare the news for him regarding the war.

We cannot be a party that just is, we're all anti-Trump, we're going to stick our heads in the sand and get to the midterms, because that's what they're counting on. They are counting on us doing that. And it's so important that you have, like Lincoln talked about, a team of rivals. We have to be a party in our big tent,

a party of rivals for democracy. So I do not, if you wanna criticize us because we criticize the Democrats, great, let's have that conversation. Let's talk about why you think that's so dangerous and or wrong, or why you think Chuck Schumer
