Last Day Of School Morning Routine *WE'RE MOViNG* 🎒🌴

It's time to get ready.Really?I was not the kind of pancake that I used to turn out.It's like my whole house fell apart.I'm not kidding.

Hello, my two blondies.It's your last day of school.

Last day of school.5 in the morning.Woke up.kiddos in my bed, which is great.So I'm here with my bestie.He is in Texas, which is fine.

We've been doing great here.He's been very healthy.And I've been going at the last week of school alone.There has been some rough moments, I must say, because it's a lot easier in parenting, even eight kids with two parents.So shout out to all you single parents out there.You're doing amazing.

Like, I can't even imagine.It's just a lot.It's a lot.Logistically, it's a lot emotional.It's a lot.yeah but it's gonna be okay today is the last day of school so it's been an awesome year in Maui and if you guys have watched this video over here you know that most likely this will be our last day of school here in Maui which is Definitely bittersweet.

Like I'm excited for some parts.I'm moving back to the castle house.You saw that I got emotional because I just kind of had this vision for what I thought was gonna happen here.But sometimes things don't work out like how you vision.But you know that God has a greater plan and I know that God has a plan in what Maui is supposed to mean to our family and to me and Benji.I think it's more of a timing thing than it is actually moving here because we feel drawn here.

We feel loved here.We feel embraced here and I know that one day we will call Maui home but for now I think the castle house is going to continue to be our home for at least a few more years.So anyway, I want to stay at school here in Maui.Let's get started.

Let's get started.

So the first thing I always do is I read my scriptures and I journal.But today where I've got two little kiddos that's talking to meI think I'm going to go out this morning and enjoy one last morning looking at the beautiful ocean and just take some time for me while me and the Lord.And now your mom's out there.

Know why I was emotional to leave that every morning.

But no matter where you are, if you are a busy mom, biggest bit of advice I can give is to take every morning for the past, let's see, probably a little over 25 years now.I have taken my me time in the morning and I just take about an hour, an hour and a half to do whatever just like fills me up and prepares me for the day.And that's different for everybody.But for me, I start with prayer and reading my scriptures and journaling.and kind of planning my day, just pondering and reflecting on what the Lord would have me do today, who I can reach out to, who might need my help, which one of my kids may be struggling.This is when I will send like a message to one of my kids or to one of my friends and just let them know that I care, just whatever the Lord prompts me to tell them.

So this is sacred time for me.And so I'm going to take my sacred time and then we'll be back in a moment to wake up the kids.All right, my me time is done.Time to wake up the kids.

Guys, I am really gonna miss these mornings out here for real.

But there's also a lot of things I'm really excited about.Going home and seeing all of my adult kids and all of my sweet grandbabies.And so I just keep thinking about the bigger picture and just that how my father has spent.telling myself that you're going through changes in your life that you're not ready to like, I don't know, to deal with or endure.You know, some changes are really, really, really hard.All changes, big and small.

Just know that the Lord has a plan for you and just go with it.You know, like last few months have been amazing.really hard for our family.And so there's been a lot of times that I've had to just trust in the Lord's plan.Moving back is going to be different than I had planned, but that's okay.Those kinds of changes are pretty easy to deal with because you just know that there's, you're going to figure things out.

And sometimes it takes you a minute to get back in.that you can do it.I'm just giving you some encouragement out there, because I know that many of you are struggling, but you can do it.You're stronger than you think, and Heavenly Father can make up for the rest.So, all right, time to go wake up the kids.

Oh my goodness.Kiddos, kiddos, kiddos.It is really tempting the last day to just not worry about going, but what's cool is that this school, they literally have to go because they have like, I think Navy has a test and these guys have like assignments they have to finish up and stuff.So kind of a good motivation to go in the last day.

Wow, that was a new song.Okay, don't mind.the mcdonald's on the side okay guys i don't know why but my water bottles i always make myself these lovely stanley water bottles with ice in them and they just keep disappearing i'm not really sure what happens i think that this little dude right here is the culprit and so i was just like done and like kate and i had my water from yesterday i just went and filled up my water so i guess today this is gonna be my fancy stanley as my mcdonald's drink cup i don't understand either i've got like 85 000 stanley's but not all here at the castle house here we each have one or two and mine keeps disappearing so anyway my last day of school complaint is done time to get dressed okay guys oh my gosh it's like 6 10 and we gotta get up and our food's not surprisingly stayed on so i'm actually really surprised but we need to get up let's go to the bathroom

All right now, let's go do my skincare makeup you guys I like I don't even feel like it's real Parents feel like it's like the normal day of school and it's just like early day out week I feel like I feel like it's just like a like a Wednesday and we're not we don't want to eat on school the rest of the week You know what I mean?But then like next week we're not school.I don't know why like I feel like that or like a Thursday We don't school on Friday.Then on Monday we're in high school.Summer's over.I mean, whoa.

Is summer starting?And it's So I'm so excited.But like, I'm also a little bit sad because all my friends aren't gonna be here and like that's just like, oh no, I'm not gonna be here and all my friends aren't gonna be here.So I'm probably gonna feel a little bit of a bummer.Okay, good morning.Guys, I just woke up.

Now it's time to start getting ready.And yes, I am excited, but I'm so tired because I didn't end up going to bed at 10 like I said I would.I ended up finishing all my projects because they were all due today.

Now it's time to start getting ready.You don't want to think about that The skincare I usually call my hair firstand then do my makeup.So we're gonna do my hair.Alright guys, good morning.This is so uncomfortable to sleep in because I just froze to death.

Ugh, okay.We're gonna start with skincare.I just take these and I just, um, I'm just gonna like wipe off.My skin feels like better than it did last night.I know it's the last day of school and I'm like so excited because like it's the last day of school and I'm going to go to school tomorrow but like I'm not gonna do all that.Okay, this is the JustKaz headband.

Now it's time for makeup.Okay, I'm gonna actually try and see if I don't have to pencil today because that's what we're doing.For the makeup, I literally just love this palette so much and I just use it all the time.You can't tell.I'm just gonna, I just go like this.Okay, this looks a lot more orange to me.

Okay, in true tradition of our morning routines, I must do quick change.Ready, and go.All right, I'm ready for my morning walk.And yes, that is definitely one thing I will miss the most from living in Maui, is my morning walk.

because who else gets to like walk down to the ocean?

Like how incredible is that?Like so many prayers and beautiful moments with the Lord down by the ocean in the morning.So definitely gonna miss that part.That's definitely true.I don't mean to be so weepy, but this has been a really, really rough year and the past four months have been incredibly hard.Just different people with health challenges and emotional challenges And I can honestly say this has probably been the hardest year of my motherhood for sure.

I don't want to go into details, but it has been rough.And then to make even better, I've been at without my mom for the past year and three months.So, and I miss her because when you're having a rough time, better to call than your mama, right?You can just avenge everything.And you just know they have your back and you know, they'll give you some encouraging words.And you know, even if they can't fix, What it is you're going through, they just make it feel better.

So it's been rough because I really miss her.It's all good.

I've just felt like at the hardest times, somehow it feels a little bit lighter.Like somehow there's angels around me just kind of lifting me a little bit to get through it and to help my family and to help each of my kids get through it.And I know that one of those angels is my cute mama.So thanks, mama, for your help.Gosh.Maybe it's cuz I'm standing by the picture that reminds me of growing up with her.

Anyway, I just gotta stop it today It's a great day.

Now I'm gonna go get dressed.Alright, this is what the outfit looks like.Yeah, you can't really see it.But this is the outfit.I need to do my hair actually.I need to put bronzer on my neck.

Okay, I'm gonna just wear my hair straight today, but I need to get a straightener.Okay, I cannot find my straightener, so I guess I'm gonna cut my hair.

Teeth are brushed and it's time now.I'm going to go make breakfast.I normally don't have to make breakfast in the morning because Benji does it.I can't tag team the different duties of the morning routine, but Benji's not here, so I did breakfast duty.My house is, I mean, my kitchen's not horrible, but it is in a little bit of disarray.But even just with eight kids, like the two weeks I was gone, it's like my whole house fell apart.

I'm not kidding.I'm going to go out and gather a few of the grapefruits off of our tree to have for breakfast.We're almost done with the ones that we can harvest from this tree.

So we have some new ones growing.

All right, I got a few.I'm heading back.All right, gonna wash out some fruits.What should I make for the last day of school breakfast?Not fruit for sure, but I'm just trying to think.

Should I do pancakes?Muffins?Guys, I am so excited for the last day of school.Okay, now we're actually starting to get the choices.Okay, my eyelash curler.This is straight up eyelash curler.

And then my mascara.Okay, we're gonna start off with the eyes now.Okay, let's just call this good.And now we are going to do that.

First, I'm going to originize, and once I start, I'm going to ask questions all the time.Okay, perfect.Makeup is all done.And then, I'm going to add some more foundation here after I'm done brushing my teeth.And then I'm going to add some lipstick.Let's go downstairs and go do my hair.

I'm going to lock my eyeglasses.Okay.Hey guys, my mom's making breakfast.

Pancakes it is.Normally, the dad has breakfast, but today I'm doing it all.

Yep, because my dad's gone in Texas helping Kennedy.Okay, now we're gonna come into Delaney's room and we're gonna curl my hair.

So this is what I look like.Holy crap.Let's take this off because oh, I think the nose part ripped off.

Oh my gosh guys.Oh my gosh.Okay, well my skin looks so glassy and glowy.Wow, I think that really works.Let's get ready for school now.All right guys, we're gonna, actually we're gonna brush my teeth first.

I look absolutely insane.Let's just get ready for the last day of school because I'm done.

I'm done.Now it's time to do my makeup and get actually ready

I have no eyelashes.Okay, we're done with that.

We're still very fine on time.It's only 6 .35.We don't have to wait till 7 .45.Stuff I do for school.

Okay, now I'm gonna take this brush and do some bronzer.They should make this powder version right now because this is so practical and it saves so much room in my makeup bag.I would love that.Okay, now it's time for powder.Like, see, look how fast and easy.

Easy peasy.Now we're gonna take powder and set.

Okay, my base is all done.Now I just need to do brows and lip combo, so.All right, guys, brows are done.Now I'm gonna do my lip combo.I just left, like, just one lip liner out on all my things so I can do it.This is the Make Up For Ever Lip Liner in the shade Versatile Chestnut.

And I also put this on.Now just some lip gloss.This is, um, Put a Beauty in the Shade.She's lit.

Okay, I think if you put a timer I could get done like already if I hurried in 10 minutes.but we're not really in a rush today we're just gonna work slowly but oh yeah that feels really good just the feeling of having your moisturizer just makes everything a thousand times better okay also for our hair today i think we're just going to leave it down we're trying not to put any heat on it and i feel like i've been doing good so far so okay we're going to start our makeup we're gonna put on some primer a few moments later we're putting our last layer of mascara on A few minutes later now, we're gonna wipe off our mascara

But now, we are gonna fix up a few pieces of my hair in a second.But we're gonna clean up, get straightened up, and kinda get up.idea of what we're gonna pack for school.Like I brought a lot of my clothes here, especially t -shirts and hoodies, so we're gonna clean, do my laundry, fix up my hair, and get like a rough outline of what we need to bring back for summer.Anyways, let's just clean up the room and then we'll be back.

That's way better.Then we're gonna put a little bit of oil in my hair.Not in my hair.Okay, now we're gonna put deodorant and perfume on.We're gonna put our deodorant on.And then perfume.

I got this scent in PR and it smells so good.It's like a mix of vanilla and coconut.I love it.And then one last strong scent to make our perfume last is the Burberry.This one's really strong and it lasts all day.But that one kind of smells like clean laundry, but a really, really intense, like strong smell of laundry.

Anyways, we are basically ready guys.We just got to put on our shoes.And I don't know why my hair is looking so creepy, but I don't really care.School shirt, jeans, and flip -flops.Cute enough, but now we gotta pack up my backpack, and then we're gonna go in and make our lunch.Now I smell like non -frosting.

Okay, now let's pick out my outfit.I got my Louis Vuitton shirt.This is my top.Yeah.

Don't worry, it's a spray deodorant.

Okay, beautifulThat's all done.Water bottle, grab you.Oh, I need to get my Apple Watch.Okay, now we're gonna go to concert.Guys, did you fix up the room and the hair?

No fix, let me get a little bit.We changed the jewelry too, because my necklace was a little big.Okay, we're done.It sounds like breakfast is ready.So now we're gonna go.

Makeup is over.This hair is a different story.Even though I washed it, I can maybe do like a cute little updo.Not like a full, like, snip, but just like a cute little updo, probably.

This is what I'm gonna wear.It's still, like, cute vibe, but it's definitely, like, a comfier vibe, which I like, because it's the last day of school.Who is actually getting ready?I don't really normally eat breakfast, so I'm not that hungry.I'm just gonna work on a couple of my last assignments.I'm counting them a little bit more finished, and then I'll be good to go.

Okay, so my teacher's letting me turn it in online.It's all I've done so far, and I'm pretty much almost done.So I'm gonna hurry and finish up before I have to leave to school.And then, yeah, I'll just turn it online, and then I'll be good to go.

All right, guys, it is time for pound cake.Probably like ice shoe and flip -flops.Cause you haven't walked on my floors people.It's been about three weeks.So, you know what I mean?

All right.Pancakes are my specialty.Yeah.At least my kids tell me so.So that makes me feel good, right?And how I do it is I do tiny pancakes and so all of the edges around are crispy to get more of the crispiness.

Mom, I have a good idea.Okay.When we end the video, we should maybe put two special ideas that you can put in a code and get a surprise gift.

Do you guys want us to put a special code and you get prizes for it?Ledger has a good idea.

We're almost out of school, and I'm going to miss this school, but I'm going to be happy for my other school.Roger, what are you going to miss from this school?It's nice and peaceful.

They are so cute with two little buddies.This school has been so much fun for them.They have loved it.One reason, look at this view.Second reason is they have had amazing teachers.Like so amazing.

Amazing.Like they've really helped because little B just kind of struggles with attention and his teacher has all these little stations for him to go to.Like when he's and she like moves him every like 10 minutes to a different station.She's amazing.And Ledger's teacher too, like they're all so good.Great teachers are.

Right, just got back from taking the boys.The teens are all gone.So I'm going to go get my shoes on and go on my walk.Guys, I came in to put my shoes on and you're never going to believe what is outside of my window.Holy cow.
