Lefties Losing It: Democrat Eric Swalwell's tawdry antics exposed
And it's time for Lefties Losing It. Let's start in Canada, the thoroughly loopy land that is overrepresented in the number of lefties losing it, including this woman. She is Canadian MP, Leah Gazzane, and here she drops several new pronouns.
I'm not sure the ever-expanding Alphabet community was ready for this.
When the budget was released, I was shocked to find out that Prime Minister Carney is cutting seven billion dollars between Indigenous Services Canada and Crown Indigenous Relations. They provided zero dollars to deal with the ongoing genocide of MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+. This is abhorrent. This is callous.
That of course stands for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual People+. Always the plus.
That's fantastic, Leah, but does it go far enough? Can we please try to be a little bit more inclusive and include the SWALT, C-T-W-T-I-W-G-M-I-Y-O-C-W-M-A-D-C, please? And of course, unless you're some filthy bigot, you know that stands for Slow Walkers and Loud Talkers Community,
together with Italians who get mad if you order coffee with milk after dinner community plus. Please let's just try to be inclusive. Now to CNN which has been hysterical for weeks now trying to whip up anti American sentiment and carrying on like Iran is winning the war. Here they get a little bit of a reality check from NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Is the world safer today than it was before the war was started?
Absolutely, because and this is thanks to President Trump's leadership, degrading these capabilities is really, it's really very important for your and my safety here in the US, in Europe, in the Middle East.
Jake Tapper did not like that answer, did he? Now to one of the Democrats' great white hoax. Eric Swalwell, remember it is a shallow talent pool on the left, Swalwell has come crashing down, suspending his campaign to be the next governor of California after a number of serious allegations
including four women describing sexual misconduct by the Congressman and that includes one former staffer who says he raped her. And now videos have come to light of the married Congressman grabbing and forcibly kissing an alleged sex worker. It's all rather tawdry and a long, long way from the carefully crafted image he has presented with the help of the leftist media. And I was a prosecutor in Oakland
for seven years and it was very frustrating that many times it felt like the victims had none of the rights and the bad guys had all of the rights. Yes
Eric Swalwell the man who allowed a Chinese spy into his inner sanctum, including his bed, was elevated by the media and allowed to lie and lie and lie without challenge. Here he is with the uniquely awful Jimmy Kimmel on the eve of the 2024 election,
claiming that a Trump win would be terrible for women and children and their bodies.
The consequences for everyone else, like women and their bodies, kids and their safety at school, seniors and their healthcare, like to him it's just, it's me, me, me. Democrats sometimes we stand too much on virtue
and like modesty, and we think everything is a Harvard Law School moot court competition, but we just need to talk about this like it's a gut check to the regular folks and not make this so complicated. Just be real.
You say a lot of nasty things about you on Fox News. I mean, they're your parents. Doesn't that upset them and make them go, I see that what they're saying is not true. I shouldn't believe anything else they say.
The hood spa is off the charts yet the media allowed this creep to lie and line lie without challenge including pushing the debunked Russian collusion hoax and to be clear Swalwell's lies weren't limited to claims of collusion. He claimed President Trump was a Russian
asset. You're a member of judiciary. Do you believe the President right now has been an agent of the Russians?

Get started freeYes, I think there's more evidence than he is.
Agent? Yes.
And I think all the arrows point in that direction. I haven't seen a single piece of evidence that he's not.
An agent like in the 1940s, where he had people who were Reds, DIs and all that, like that.
In other words, working for a foreign power. He's working on behalf of the Russians, yeah. Okay. The question has shifted from whether the president is working with the Russians to what evidence exists that the president is not working with the Russians.
At what point do you draw the line and not accuse the President of the United States without any evidence of being an agent of Russia?
Yeah, he's betrayed our country,
and I don't say that lightly. I worked as a prosecutor for seven years. And I... Betraying the country, by the way, we want evidence before you say that. But you said an agent of Russia.
Yeah, he works on their behalf.
I'm not hearing the evidence that he's an agent of Russia.
Yeah, I think it's pretty clear. It's almost hiding in plain sight.
Hiding in plain sight. Yes, that appears to be that Swalwell's antics Were the worst-kept secret in DC Now Eric claims all these allegations are false even the ones from former staffers But let's judge Eric Swalwell by his own standards Remember when he said this
What are the chances that three or four women independently who never met each other would have similar experiences with one person so either Ari this person committed these horrific acts or he is the single unluckiest person in the world for these people to conspire and make up lies against him but it's a very hard case to make the more allegations that
come in. Let's bring in the Centre for the American Experiment President and Co-Founder of the popular Powerline blog, John Heinderecker. John, we will get to the conflict in the Middle East shortly, but first, your thoughts on the Eric Swalwell saga. We now have more than 50 former staffers calling on him to resign and more allegations are coming to light. And also there's been a renewed focus
on that entire infamous Fang Fang saga.
Well, Rita, can Swalwell survive? I'd say he's already going down. Earlier today, he announced that he was suspending his campaign for governor of California. Effectively, that means that he is withdrawing from the race and now he's under a lot of pressure to resign from Congress. My guess, Rita, is that he will
have to resign from Congress. And I think the most interesting thing about this whole story is something that you briefly referred to and that is the fact that we're now learning that many people knew all about Swalwell's conduct. It was notorious in Washington, D.C., but it went unreported in the press because Swalwell is a Democrat,
and he has been one of the most vicious critics of President Trump. It's coming out now, everybody thinks, anyway, because he's one of something like eight Democratic candidates for governor of California and the way their primary system works,

Well, before we move on from this issue I've got to say this story has given us perhaps the best headline of the year so far courtesy of the New York Post. They had this Eric Swalwell filmed rape denial video at lavish mansion of eccentric billionaire who is in a relationship with alleged honey trap burglar. There's a lot happening in that headline, John. You think he might even step down as a congressman?
I mean, this is a fall from grace. This is a man who has, well, he had hopes of being president one day.
Yeah, a lot of people have been calling for Swalwell to resign from Congress. Frankly, I think he will. This has turned into a huge scandal for the Democrats. I think they will cut their losses by forcing him out.
Now to the war against the Iranian regime. JD Vance delivered the bad news that no deal was struck with Iran's leadership.
We have been at it now for 21 hours and we've had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians. That's the good news. The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement, and I think that's bad news for Iran much more than it's bad news for the United States of America. So we go back to the United States having not come to an agreement. We've made very clear what our red lines are, what things we're willing to accommodate them
on and what things we're not willing to accommodate them on. And we've made that as clear as we possibly could.
And they have chosen not to accept our terms.
John, other than attacking Iran's infrastructure, their water supply, electricity plants, what can the US do to make what is essentially a terrorist regime come to a reasonable agreement?
Well, Rita, I really don't think that a reasonable agreement should be the goal here. But when the campaign started, President Trump and others in the administration said that our goal was to degrade Iran's military capability to the point where they can't be a threat to us or to others for some years to come. We've done that. No doubt we could bomb some power plants and so forth. But I think the real loose end is the Strait of Hormuz.
And in my opinion, once we have seen the Strait reopened, we should end the campaign and go home.
The vice president's given little insight into what some of these sticking points were, what the Iranian regime was rejecting in the peace deal.
But the simple fact is that we need to see an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon and they will not seek the tools that would enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon. That is the core goal of the President of the United States and that's what we've tried to achieve through these negotiations. Again, their nuclear programs such as it is, the enrichment facilities that they've that they had before, they've been destroyed.
But the simple question is, do we see a fundamental commitment of will for the Iranians not to develop a nuclear weapon not just now
not just two years from now but for the long term. We haven't seen that yet we
hope that we will. Is that wishful thinking John expecting Iran to genuinely agree to that and stick to it and how long is the Trump administration willing to stay in this conflict if Iran doesn't bend on that core demand?
Well, Rita, the reality is that there is no one who can now speak effectively for the Iranian government. Its leaders, as of a couple of months ago, are dead. And a promise not to develop nuclear weapons in the future would be worthless. We've heard that before. I don't think we're missing out on anything here.
And I think that the administration can continue this campaign, can continue bombing as long as it wants to. But I think it's getting to the point where the important targets have pretty well been destroyed.

Get started freeNow there's a power struggle to determine who controls the Strait of Hormuz. Tell me about the threats and counter threats and what it all means for the oil shortages we're seeing around the world.
Well, CENTCOM, Central Command, explained today, Rita, that we're not blockading the Strait of Hormuz. What we're doing is we are blockading, as of tomorrow evening, Iran's ports. And what that means is that anybody can use the strait, but Iran can't ship any oil. I think that's a great idea. It hurts two countries, Iran, obviously, because they can't get money by selling oil,
but it also hurts China, which buys 80% of Iran's exported oil. So maybe China will now start putting pressure on the regime. The problem in this trade, obviously, is that Iran may or may not have dropped some mines there, and that's why ships don't dare go through. We've got ships on the way to try to deal with those mines through underwater drones
and so forth. Other countries might help as well. I think before long, this trade is going to be open. I think the trade in oil is going to resume. And I don't think there's going to be a long-term impact here on oil prices.
Now, a lot of people were surprised that JD Vance was sent to Pakistan to secure a deal. Many expected Secretary of State Marco Rubio to be tasked with that role. Tell me why you think J.D. Vance was the one who was sent. He is said to be possibly the least enthusiastic in this administration about the war and yet he was given this important task. I really don't know, Rita.
Maybe Rubio is busy working on something else. He wears a lot of hats, as you know. Trump probably knew that this negotiation wasn't going anywhere, so why not send Vance? Maybe Vance wanted to go to dispel rumours that he's at odds with Trump over this Iranian campaign. It's really hard to say.
Now, let's talk about what's left of the Iranian leadership. There are media reports today that the new Ayatollah is not dead, has been suspected, but the Supreme Leader is recovering from severe facial and leg injuries suffered in the airstrike that killed his father. This is according to people close to his inner circle. They claim the 56-year-old remains mentally sharp, John. But who do you think right now holds the power in Iran?
Is it the IRGC leadership or the Supreme Leader?
Rita, they say he's mentally sharp. We've heard that phrase before, haven't we? Didn't turn out to be true of Joe Biden. Rita, there's no doubt that the IRGC is running the show in Iran, and it's going to stay that way. It suits their purposes to have a supposed supreme leader who,
in fact, is disabled. And I think the days when an ayatollah was the top power in Iran are over. Going forward, I think Iran is going to be a straightforward military dictatorship.
Now President Trump has threatened 50% tariffs on any nation that gives Iran military aid. Amid media reports that China might take a more active role in the war. Listen to this.
But I hear news reports about China giving the shoulder missiles, what's called the shoulder missile, anti-aircraft missile. I doubt they would do that because I have a relationship and I think they wouldn't do that, but maybe they did a little bit at the beginning, but I don't think they would anymore. No, but if we catch them doing that, they get a 50% tariff,
which is a staggering, that's a staggering amount.
That is an interesting warning. And China does play a crucial role in this conflict, don't they, John? They are Iran's most powerful ally and they can exert pressure on that regime.
Yeah, Rita, as I mentioned, they buy 80% of the oil that Iran exports. They're hugely important customer for Iran's economy. The threat of the 50% tariff might work. Who knows the legality of Trump's ability to impose tariffs like this is very much in doubt.
But I think he's trying to get the Chinese to back off and it may very well work. Now, a long way from the conflict in the Middle East, Donald Trump was at UFC 327 in Miami. He entered the stadium with UFC owner Dana White and members of the Trump family.
The 45th and now 47th president
of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

And in scenes that will enrage the lefties no doubt, we had fighter after fighter after their wins paying tribute to the president including Brazilian Paulo Costa. John that was a contender for the world's longest handshake. It went on for some time and Costa reportedly told the president, thank you for doing what you're doing. I needed to tell you this.
The UFC is where President Trump is among his people, isn't it, John? Whatever may be happening anywhere else in the world, that's his happy place.
It really is, Rita. Dana White, you mentioned the owner of UFC, is a close friend of Trump's, and he gets rapturous welcomes from these UFC crowds, although to be fair, he does well in sports arenas generally. And by the way, did you notice that Marco Rubio was also at that UFC event?
Yes, he was.
I think they were sending a signal about how little concerned they were with the negotiations that were then going on in Pakistan.
Marco Rubio was in fantastic form. He was throwing up hand signals and really having the time of his life. Now, let's talk about what I consider the most under-reported story of 2026. That is the manner in which the issue of illegal immigration in the US has been completely
conquered. Listen to this latest DHS data. New DHS data show last month zero, zero
illegal immigrants released into the United States after being caught at the border. Now, that is down dramatically. Well, of course, it would be from 78,000 released into our nation in March of 2024 under President Biden. It also marks 11 straight months of zero catch and releases, all with DHS unfunded through March.
John, that was the biggest issue leading up to the 2024 election. We were told by many that this is an unsolvable crisis, nothing can really be done about it and it was solved in record time and then everyone seems to have forgotten about it. The fact that you can go from over 78,000 to zero in the space of two years, how is this not being talked about more?
Rita, it's very frustrating for President Trump's supporters. This is an unbelievable success that the press and the Democrats said it couldn't be done. And Trump made it happen so fast that he's really not getting much credit for it. He made it look too easy.
And it really is pretty frustrating to his supporters here in the United States. It's a tremendous achievement.
John Heidenreich, I thank you so much for your time. John Heidenreich, I thank you so much for your time.
Great to be with you, Rita.
