NEWS: Trump backed board censors Congresswoman and refuses to let her vote against name change.

We have some pretty big news right now. Caroline Leavitt has been caught in another lie. This time Joyce Beatty, a congresswoman, says that the vote to rename the Kennedy Center to the Trump Kennedy Center, it wasn't unanimous. She was on the call, she was going to vote against this, but they muted her microphone, essentially censoring her, effectively censoring her vote, even though she, just like every

other member of the board, has a right to vote on whether or not they're going to change the name from the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center. The name change as a whole is likely illegal regardless because Congress sets the name for the Kennedy Center, not the Kennedy Center board. And Congress statutorily named it the John F. Kennedy Center, not the Trump-Kennedy Center.

And without a vote of Congress, can't change. But that hasn't stopped Trump from doing similar things to the Department of Defense, now they call it the Department of War, and other things, including the Donald Trump Institute of Peace, which used to be just the Institute of Peace. But they're lying, it wasn't unanimous, and they censored a board member who was going to vote no.
