Our first wedding as a family

Good morning, everyone.Me and Bowie are starting our Monday strong.It's actually a little bit later on in the day.I say later on in the day.It's probably about 10 .30 in the morning.We have been up for quite some time.

I've just sort of been organizing myself.Look at me.I've been organizing myself because this week is a very, very busy week.In fact, yeah it makes my brain hurt how busy it is well these first two days are not too bad monday tuesday quite nice actually wednesday thursday friday saturday sunday are all extremely busy and then the following week i start work i start back at strictly the following week so i'm just really trying to get in all the time i can with little bowie but in saying that this week is busy so wednesday i'm getting my hair done I think I'll do a whole separate vlog on my hair because I think it might need it.If not, it'll be in this one if I don't actually film enough content, but I think I will probably do a whole separate vlog on my hair.So the hair content won't probably be in this vlog, but we've got a lot of stuff happening this week, so you're gonna get two vlogs from me.

This week we have the wedding to go to, on the weekend which is joe is best man for and it's one of joe's best mates lewis's wedding um so it's little man's first wedding i've been trying on outfits for him you've seen in my vlogs and we've gone to look for outfits i've been looking in his cupboard at what we could possibly um get him to wear i think i found something i tried something on him this morning that he actually had in his cupboard but it was it was six to nine months and obviously he's four so I was like it's not gonna fit him.It fits him.It fits him very very well.Today what I wanted to go do is get a picture printed off of Joe's granddad.Chippy, granddad Chippy, because in little man's room we have this beautiful cabinet that granddad Chippy actually made and in it we have all your great granddads so we've got we got my two pops who little Bowie never got to meet my Italian pop and my Australian pop So we've got pictures of them in there, and I wanted to get a little picture of Joe's pop as well.So, Grandad Chippy.

So I want to go to the shops to get, to print a picture out of that.and get a tiny little frame that we can put on the mantelpiece to finish off his room, because we've basically finished it.But that's that one little touch that is missing, just the picture of Grandad Chippy in there.So I think that's what we're going to do.He's just chilling on me right now.He's had his nap for the morning.

It's a new week.Let's get on with it.We've gone on a road trip to the bottom of the garden to see Daddy's office.And what I love about showing balding new things all the time is he genuinely looks around like as if oh my god i've never seen this before he has been in here before but when he was very little and i'm just looking around this office looks so good joe thank you i love it very pleased with it it's a bit dusty though yes it does need a dusting needs a dusting and a good old vacuum yes i might keep my little handy

down here.

Yes.I love that cabinet.Cabinets great is that so good you and your dad did such a good job.I think mainly my dad Yeah, I'm sure it was me. I mean most time you were up there with me It looks beautiful.

And I need an office space to get it done, which now I have.Now you have the office space.This is my painting station.Keep this chair.We'll go with another one like that, so it looks more me. I kind of love this chair.This chair was from our family home, growing up as kids.

Yeah.This was my favourite chair.I used to sit in this chair and watch films like Baby's Day Out.

We were getting the lounge recarpeted.I wasn't allowed to walk on it or something, so I had to sit in this chair whilst they did it.I've sat in this chair for ages, I used to love it.It's got like a funky pattern underneath.

It does look very comfortable.Super cool, Joey.So this section is his art studio.And then this section is his gaming studio.And that's his coffee studio.

The only thing is, I haven't got a fridge yet.here, so I can't store milk.

But I may drink oat milk anyway, I don't need to refrigerate oat milk.

Oh gosh, something.Oh no, my episode of the phoenix.um this yeah that's bits of cork yeah i've stuck down and that underneath there believe it or not to make it look sounding earth is that coffee coffee grains you dry why you used to make me keep drying out yeah you dry it out and mix with pva glue and glue it to your base and then dry brush it and then this has all been dry brushed and you almost don't need to do anything more to that the dry brushing does all the work for you that's so cool yeah and what about this what's happening here that's a fart brewing fart in that i'm letting it brew just in case I genuinely hope that little Bowie has the creativity of his dad.

I hope you have the creativity of your dad Bowie because he's so creative and I love that he has so many little hobbies.good and I am gonna go and have a Thai massage mom and dad got me a Voucher before they left to say thank you for everything and I haven't used it yet.So I'm about to go and use my voucher I'm so excited It's sort of a turn of events.I wasn't planning to do this today, but I called up and she said she had an appointment and in like an hour's time.And I was like, I think I could do that.My back really needs it.

I think from holding Bowden so much and just that, yeah, I really need it.Well, I'd love to say that was the best massage I've ever had, but I went there and apparently she messaged me saying that she couldn't actually do the time.She got it wrong.And I didn't see the message because I'd obviously was like, Oh great.I'll just hop in the car and go.Um, that's okay.

I was like it's not meant to be it's not their fault.I did call up last minute.So Look, yeah, I didn't end up having a massage but what I did do is I went to the charity shop just across the road from it and Swings and roundabouts because look what I found this little crocodile puzzle little wooden crocodile puzzle to go with this little wooden snake that we got last week and that was 50p and you know that was worth the journey out so i'm gonna drive back home now and it was very short -lived not to worry these things happen meant to be cut to a lot later on in the day me and bowie actually we went for a walk what else did we do we didn't do too much i didn't make a cake because i'm gonna do that in the morning but i went to buy the stuff that i needed for the cake today and i am now about to have dinner joe's actually on a meeting it's 5 30 i like to have dinner around five ish because There's so much we've got to do, isn't there, Bowie?We've got to bath you, we've got to put you to bed, then Mummy's got to do her bits.So I tend to like to have dinner at 5 .30.Didn't have to cook tonight because I made this massive casserole.

I don't know if you call it a casserole.It's not called a casserole.I made this.It is lentil and vegetable cottage pie.Well, I guess it's not a cottage pie because there's no meat in it, but a lentil and vegetable pie.The potato on top is the potatoes that Joe grew in the garden, which makes it taste even better.

The courgette in there is homegrown courgettes.And then the rest of the stuff is shop bought.But I made it yesterday and it was delicious.So there's so much left.I made a massive one because I thought this could be for two dinners plus lunches.So I'm just going to heat some of that up for my dinner.

And then when joe finishes his meeting he can heat some up as well.

So that's an easy dinner So without further ado, i'm gonna serve myself up lentil and vegetable pie.

What do we think to that bowie?I mean look at that goodness.That is delightful bowie's down to sleep.Joe is still Working upstairs.I just filmed a tiktok and this is what I look like Imagine got my new hair done guys, and this is what we're going for.I like the color to be fair back in the day this would have been a very cool style curled perm anyway that's the end of our monday night i am now going to go and actually wind down because this is just ridiculousness um i'll see you all tomorrow hi everyone pete tuesday it's actually a bit fresh i've got a

for the wedding because tomorrow and Thursday I will be getting my hair done.friday morning we leave so i want to get things organized today's like my last free day really um i ordered some shoes online to match my dress and i've just looked and they're not coming till saturday and we won't be here so that's really annoying so i'm gonna go and have a look in charity shop today to see if i can find i need a little bag and some shoes i don't know if i'll find any but We're gonna have a look, aren't we?We're gonna go down and have a look.We'll see what we can find.We might not find anything.She's looking at me, smiling.

Now, I either have this little Oshkosh Bogosh white shirt, so we'll put that in there, because that could be a possibility, or my personal favorite, this Hawaiian shirt.Depending on the weather, how hot it is, if he needs a little bit more coverage, we'll go with the longer white shirt.If it's quite warm, I believe it's going to be 26 degrees.So I'm not sure onone we'll go for.And then I have this little bow tie as well.

That again, if he likes it, we'll keep it on him.If he finds it uncomfortable, we won't.So his wedding outfit is packed.Now, my mom said to me, what about shoes?Do you put shoes on him?

I don't know.I didn't even think of shoes.

I have these, but these are zero to three months.I haven't even got to wear them.I don't think these are going to fit you.Let's see.Your foot's too big now.I see them in the wrong foot.

I don't think you're going to like them.No, they're not going to fit him.Then he has these little shoes that Neil Jones bought him.I'm not sure what size these are.He has these little Adidas shoes.Oh, look, I'll put them in.

I'm not sure if he will actually wear them or not.Probably not.Socks though.could possibly do a nice matching sock to his bowtie that might look better than trying to put him in shoes so I'll take those and I might also take a little tanned pet now I need to take and I haven't actually he hasn't worn this yet but I love this this is the milk in it this is from that brand Claude & Co this one Claude & Co he's not worn this before And I kind of love it.So I'm thinking this just as a, in case it's cold and we need, you know, just to throw on.Set of pajamas.

Kind of love packing and organizing.Never used to, you know, but now having a baby, it's just changed something in me. I love being an organized mom.I love it.

Okay, so now we just need a couple of outfits.If it's hot and then if it's a little cooler.I also have this from Claude and Co.It was three to six months, so it could fit him.I want to see what I could team this with, because how cool is that?I might change that out.

This is one from The White Company.And that is perfect, it's not too hot, not too cold.Might swap that out and put that in as a sleep suit.It's a really nice one, he's not worn that yet.A little casual outfit, I love these jeans.And just a basic top, always looks absolutely adorable on him.

Jeans and a top.And then, let's go for, as a summary option, it's this one which we got from Next the other day, and that goes underneath it.So nice and bright, will look cute on him.So we'll pack that for an option.Two sort of going out, we've got a nice casual, we need like this.What size is that though?

Oh, that's six to nine months, that might be a little bit too big.So that with some shorts is very cute.It's Rugrats, do like that and it's not too hot with a little pair of shorts.Let's also add that.in.Okay, so that is basically all we need for his outfits.

And just for good measure, I'm gonna pack his little, this is called his holiday outfit.The old blue shorts and top, right?He's probably got more clothes than me now.Okay, there are his clothes packed and ready to go.Now, in another bag, I need to pack nappies, basically just all the bits now.So that's his clothing.

I think what's easier is if I just pack a bag like this with a whole heap of nappies and just all the bits that I need.It's just easier than trying to put it all into sections because sometimes I'm like, where did I put that?If it's all in this bag, it's all in this bag.So I need my nappies, clothes, He's now up a size in nappies.

Yeah.What size is this?

This is a size one.And now you're actually a size two.You're no longer a size one, my boy.Something we are going to need to get some more nappies.But I'll put a few in for now, just in case I forget.Taking the medical kit.

Nose picker.Probably overpacking here, but a little comb to do his hair.take my child's bum, some moisturizer, we've got body wash, a nappy rash and nappy rash cream is plenty.What do we need my boy?Bum wipes.Take a

spare sheet just in case.The rest of the things are like dummies, little toys, stuff like that.But for now, I think that is actually quite a good start.So clothing, nappies, all the essentials, first aid kit, nose picker, new sheet, baby wipes, yeah, stuff to wash him in.We're good to go.Can't cope right now.

I'm trying on my dress.little man just sat on the bed watching me and he keeps smiling at me in this dress it's like he's going mum you look beautiful look at him no i can't you like it i love his dress you're gonna look handsome too we're both gonna be in florals we have a visitor to help us make our cake it's happening we are making the cake whether we like it or not we are making this bloody cake so i've been speaking about it since last week it's happening Also, how cute is my baby carrier?So cute.He loves it in there.Daddy has been working so hard all day that we want to make him a cape for when he finishes, don't we?He's been busy.

We've got the wellness book, got everything out.Let's do it.Beat the eggs with an electric whisk.We're not going to do that.We're just going to beat the eggs with our hands.So two eggs, beautifully cracked.

And then add oil and sugar.So we need 150 grams of coconut oil.

The trusty scales are back.Don't know how trusty they are though.Do you think they're trusty, my boy?I don't think so.Right, 150 grams, let's go.Okay, 100.

It's going to be a less sweet cake.That's fine.I'm okay with that.100 grams of medjool dates.So basically, we're just going to chop dates up.Now, that's going to make it sweet, so we're good.

You can hear that noise in the background.That's Joe doing our bedroom.He has not stopped since this morning, honestly.Okay, we have 100.75 grams of walnuts.We have walnuts.

Now, we might as well put the rest of that in.75 grams, thank you very much.170 grams of buckwheat flour.Here we go.80 grams of ground almonds.Just the right amount of everything.

50 grams of designated coconut.There's a lot of stuff in this cake.Generous pinch of salt.I think that's generous.One, two of the old ground cinnamon.Half a teaspoon of nutmeg.

Half a teaspoon of baking powder.Half a teaspoon of baking soda.Oh, that's what I'm missing.Oh my God.I just realized what I'm missing.I'm missing a carrot.

It's carrot cake and I haven't put any carrot in there.I'm missing the carrot, my boy.Got a great two whole carrots.Up we go.god that makes a lot of mixture yum guys they look delicious it does say to make a cashew like um topping for them which i might make but i genuinely don't think it needs it let's see anyway it says to cook them for one hour if they're if you're doing muffins at 180 so i don't know put them in now is it time for bath is it bath time yeah we've had our dinner Daddy is still working.Daddy's on a meeting now.

Meanwhile, watching The Next Pro on Disney Hulu.And I love it.I really enjoy it.And I think they're all so good.All of them are bloody brilliant.So, today has been a very big day.

You would have already seen my color vlog, my hair vlog.I had me hair colored, and tomorrow I have the hair extension part, but you would have already seen that.So this will be, old news this part um but basically i got home i didn't vlog anything today because i was vlogging for my hair vlog so my normal vlog will commence again on friday because friday we leave for the wedding happy wednesday hi baby good morning do you like mommy's hair my tiny little dancer mommy loves you i'm back doing my normal vlog i just posted a vlog with my hair and we're on a road tripon a road trip where are we we're on a road trip we're in traffic shock and joe's getting stressed because we're in traffic and hey look i'm not stressed it's just that we need to be at this rehearsal for three um by the way i've got new hair uh and if you haven't watched my latest vlog that i've put out will be today, then you'll be like, what the hell's happened to her hair?I colored it, got it colored, but go and watch my vlog to see the process and how we came to this.Mahogany smoke is what we call it.

I love it, actually.It's really nice.I think I'm just gonna keep going sort of more brown and Albany from now on.But anyway, we are on our way to our wedding.Yeah, we're getting married.We're getting married, and we're gonna be late for our rehearsal.

This is for my best mate Lewis' wedding.Lewis and Alice.And their wedding rehearsal is at 3.We left at 11 and we were gonna arrive at 2 .30 on the dot, which is perfect.And now it's up to 2 .40 and I'm stressing.So I'm like, ooh.

God, decisions, decisions.But yeah, I'm just having a lovely, a lovely time.evening to myself this hotel though is gorgeous i really really love it so nice i'll definitely want to come back here with joe at some point and my mom and dad to explore the little town because it sounds absolutely gorgeous out there this hotel is honestly lovely if you ever get a chance the old bell hotel and um it was established in 20 in sorry in 12 20 a long time ago dinner's arrived i went for sea bass which looks gorgeous oh my god i didn't know it had potatoes on it because i also ordered potatoes and these carrots look insane apparently this hotel has won many an award for their food so i'm looking forward to trying this out i pulled a muscle in my back yesterday i think i was meant to sign for it but i didn't hold that thought that thought Hopefully Hugo just loves it when I sing Twinkle Little Star.I'm going to start with the sea bass.Sorry it's so dark.That is gorgeous.

I didn't realize this was like a soup.It's actually got like, oh my God.I thought it was just the sea bass.It's actually got like a soup with it.with like mussels and everything, and vegetables.I just thought it was a sea bass, hence why I ordered the potatoes and the carrots.

I ended up having to get him out of his cot and walk around with him for a bit, because he just, he didn't want to sleep.He's fallen back asleep.I had me dinner.It was lovely.I'm super full now.Also, I didn't mention before how good the ice cream was.

Maybe I did mention it, I don't know.It was one of the best ice creams I've ever had.It was dark chocolate sorbet.So they had, there was no milk in it.Chef's kiss, honestly, the best, the best ever.Anyway, I am now gonna go and have my nice shower, cleanse my face, wash my face, moisturize.

all that stuff, and then I'm gonna go to bed.Because yesterday, my sleep score was in the 90s, and I wanna do that again.I'm gonna say goodnight for tonight, and I'll see you all tomorrow when we're getting ready for the wedding.Well, good morning everyone.Famous last words that I said about eating that fish and how it was a little bit risky.

I had food poisoning last night.

Yep, I had food poisoning, I was asleep.And I just said, I woke up, I was like, Joe, I don't feel well.I think I'm going to be sick.And I went into the bathroom.I was in there for a bit.And then all of a sudden I just started being sick.

You think it's funny?

Because you, mister, didn't sleep last night.Poor daddy's got to do his speech today.He's got a big day ahead.

I'm also a wedding photographer.

He's going to go over now and get himself ready with the groom, Lewis, and the other groomsmen.And we're going to stay here, aren't we?We're going to go get some breakfast first.Now, it's weird me saying I've just had food poisoning, but I'm going to have breakfast.

That's why I know it's not food bug.

It's not, no.I wouldn't be thinking it was definitely food poisoning.I mean, I had, I said it, I said it to you guys.I said like, This is risky eating this tonight and in my head something told me this is gonna make me sick I don't know why I just had this feeling so I do eat seafood, but I didn't realize and I say this as well I didn't realize it was like that soupy.I just thought it was a piece of fish.

I think the fish was fine but I had I had the mussels as well and I wasn't gonna eat the mussels but I then I went I'll go on then yeah and your mommy was sick my cutie bum quick little spot of breakfast Just telling Joe how handsome he looks.I cut his hair for him yesterday before we left.And it's so cute.He did the rehearsal for the wedding, like the ceremony part yesterday.When he was stood down at the bottom, I was there watching him bow down.I was like, you look 13, like a young soldier going to war.

It's a good cut though.

getting ready for a wedding on your own with a lady hang on yes it was definitely not easy my bloody ankle was definitely not easy guys but i did it and i don't think i'm gonna be late oh right bless you there we go oh my word anyway let's go really so quick because i had physio as well in the room because of my back although that is feeling a lot better so that's good um but now i need to drive to the wedding park and get out but yeah much easier to do it when uh when joe's here but hey look at little man look how cute he looks let's turn you this way so you don't have the sun in your eyes okay yeahOh my god, I feel like my eyes are watering already.It's okay, I've got glasses to keep on.But this is, I went for that dress in the end.I've just, literally my hair was so easy.I didn't have to do anything.

I just straightened it.I'm gonna wear my glasses.I made these earrings out of nothing.Out of all these little bits that I had.So I made those and we're ready to go.Should we put you in the car seat?

Alrighty, ceremony is done.Now for the, what do you call the after bit?I actually have no idea.Daddy's taken Bowden and I'm now gonna go and get myself a nice cold drink.Not alcoholic, because I'm driving.I love this game.

Is it?Jo just put on the groomsman and the groomsman's dad.We're currently just sat on our deck chairs and about to go in for the amenities.We are now home from the wedding.I'm just feeding little man.Jo has stayed on.

As he's best man, he's got to stay, doesn't he?He's got to stay on for best man duties, so I brought Bowie home.It's currently like 8 .30, so it's a little bit past Bowie's bedtime, but a one -off is fine, isn't it?It was such a lovely day.I didn't vlog much because, shock, my phone died when I was there.Also, I didn't want to film too much.

It's not my wedding day, is it?I don't want to make too much noise.something I shouldn't or anything like that.So I didn't vlog too much.Tomorrow, we are going to go visit Jo's dad and head back home to get ready for Strictly Come Dancing.Oh my God.

Mama's going to be emotional.Mama's already emotional.By the way, Joe did the best best man speech ever.He's been so stressed about this best man speech for weeks on end.When I say weeks on end, I'm not even exaggerating.He has been up all night typing away at his laptop coming up with his speech and he was really nervous to actually say it tonight um and i have to say i was so so proud of him i was so excited i cried alice looked absolutely stunning and everyone there's just so nice like just such lovely people it was a beautiful venue it's such a beautiful day um but yeah we are now gonna i'm gonna go i'm gonna put him to bed he's already basically falling asleep drinking then I'm gonna go and shower, get all my makeup off, and hit the hay, because did not have a good sleep last night.

I cannot believe I got food poisoning.And it was probably one of the worst sleeps that Bowdoin had last night as well.So it was sort of like a double whammy.So I was actually quite tired today.And I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited to get into bed and sleep.See you tomorrow.

It's the next morning.And I've put him in his little Rugrats bed.body suit is so cute on him.I had a very good sleep last night.I think because it was so bad the night before, I just feel so refreshed this morning.

Unfortunately, Joe's nan wasn't home, well, was home, but all the lights were off and we didn't know she was at that.Tried to call her, but yeah, so that was a shame.But I've stopped now to get us some lunch.Joe stayed in the car with Bowie.It's gonna be very quick, in and out.I'm gonna get us some lunch and a coffee and then we go again.
