Pauline Hanson has been in Perth for less than four hours but she's already at the centre of controversy, arriving to a crowd of supporters but also some fierce opposition.Hundreds of protesters lined the street outside the One Nation fundraising event tonight with only a road separating them from supporters.There was a heavy security presence with state and federal police on hand to keep the peace.Here's what some of those protesters had to say.Yeah, we're here to make sure that Pauline Hanson knows that there are so many people in Western Australia who reject her hate -filled and divisive brand of politics.

Protest is important.It's really important for people to come out and express their opinions in many, many sorts of ways.

We can see more attacks on immigrants.We could see attacks on abortion rights, on the environment.And if she gets more seats, who knows how much they can grow and make changes.Again, we don't want to see Trump -style politics in Australia.Ms Hanson touched down at Perth Airport just before four this afternoon for what she says is her first time in WA since Anzac Day last year.She also says One Nation will be targeting Labor seats and that the people of WA deserve better like the rest of Australia.

In her speech she urged backing for One Nation's Fire the Liar campaign targeting Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.More than $1 million has already been pledged to that campaign.While protesters say One Nation has no place in WA, Ms Hanton argues Australians are increasingly frustrated with the major parties.
