There's a lot of conspiracies going around. There's a lot being said about Harper. We're going to address all of those today.

It's not a secret. Harper has gone to a mental health facility to get treatment to help her with her OCD. She didn't go to a mental health facility because of any and everyone is saying he caused this is his fault. Look what you did to her.

And so we're going to address all of those today we're going to talk about them okay to be fair we are not going to share anything that Harper is not already publicly shared on the internet which is everything no it's a very open to help her with her OCD and she will be gone for a little bit, but she will be back and better than ever. And it's not caused by like any past relationships

or boyfriends or anything like that.

The truth is that Benny, like she already struggled way before Benny. She struggled with other boyfriends. No, actually since we started the podcast. Actually, really since ever.

With her, she's been mad about it. She struggled since she was in the fourth grade.

Which you guys that are watching for a long time already know this. Y'all have seen her talk about it. You've seen things that she's done. You've picked up on this. Like this isn't something that's like new to you guys, I know, but if you guys are newer viewers, then you may not have known. But this is something that she has been dealing with

for a long time and it certainly wasn't triggered by Benny or anything like that. It was just kind of one of those things where it's like, to take care of it and like figure out how to cope with it. And I think she just decided, hey, I need to go get some help

to like actually be able to do this so I can live a joyful life.

Yeah. And we are very excited for her to be getting that help. Like all of us here and her family and friends that like know her offline like we just know how much she struggled with it and knowing now that she's finally like willing to get better it's like really exciting for all of us because I feel like even I mean you guys that have watched for a

while like you know you've seen her not just grow up like you've seen her change on like online and stuff and part of that is because of her mental health. Like you've seen, I know people see it. Like I've seen the edits where it's like how Harper used to be versus how she is now. And it's like.

Yeah, and I don't think a lot of people realize how difficult it was on her.

Like she would come on the podcast and she'd try to like be her happiest self on the podcast. But she, it was, or it was, hopefully was not is, but hopefully was something that she struggled with. Um, and hopefully she, yeah, she'll get better.

She's getting help now, but she's not off the podcast forever. As soon as she's done with getting the help that she needs, she will be back. And I know she's excited to get back. Like her mom has talked to her multiple times now, and she's like, she misses everyone here and like, she's ready to come come back but she still just needs to you know work on herself before she can come and she'll probably be gone for about anywhere between like one to three months maybe yeah in between that

time but can we clarify like what it is because I feel like most people don't know like OCD I don't know just like you would just keep saying it like mental like her mental health issues yeah like what she's getting help on. Oh, she's, she's suffered from OCD since she was in the fourth grade. And if you guys haven't seen the episode that was posted about a year ago, it's called opening up about our mental health. I wanted the most severe OCD out of like 10% of the world.

That was the episode she really just told the internet like what she's been struggling with since she was in the fourth grade so it's I mean we can't even really tell you guys what it is and how she struggles with it in detail because we're not her but if you go back and watch that episode you'll understand more of what she's been going through and what she was going through and you know how it's just

kind of like and I didn't really understand it either like it's not like uh it's not like uh I don't know what I used to think like OCD was and stuff like and I don't even know if it's just OCD or what all it is but it's not just like uh what's like the OCD like I used to think of was. It's not like, oh, I just have to have my room cleaned.

Every pencil has to be in a certain line.

Yeah, it's not like, oh, I need to put my, the remote has to be this direction.

At least not for her. It is, there is OCD like that, but that's not the kind that she suffers from.

Yeah, there's OCD that like, people struggle with that is like that yeah it's like they have to go make sure the doors locked 12 times yeah before they go to bed and they have to twist it three times like that yeah like and they really struggle with it and they know it makes no sense to go do that but they have to go do it they just for some reason feel like they have to go twist the doorknob three times to make sure the doors lock I don't they don a kid, they do things like that. Like I did things like that,

but never to like a severe like extent at all. Just like little things like that.

And it's also something that you just like grew out of.

Like everybody has a portion of their mind that has that for some sort of reason, whether it's like certain things. I think it's a thing that's supposed to be in your brain To help you like stay safe and things like that It's like oh, I need to make sure not to be perfect But I need to make sure these things happen and I think sometimes that thing can just be more for certain people. Yeah

Like I remember as a kid I'd go down the aisles in Walmart and do you guys remember the rollback things that would stick out? Yeah. I felt like I had to touch every single one. Yeah, that's just you wanting to touch them. Yeah, no, I felt like I had to touch every single one. Why is not acting like that's like his mental health issue? No, no, no, no, no. Tapping, hitting all the wall.

has like been struggling with it's not that like it's completely different it's completely different and it it's such a big part of her life like she just was she she contemplated everything she was doing and it's like I don't know it just wasn't like a super it just started getting in the way

of like family and things like that and her personal life and so she just wanted to like go get more help. I do want to talk about it more because I want to share more about it, but it's also her story.

Yeah, so I don't want to like... Because as soon as Harper gets back to like I'm sure she's gonna want to tell you guys everything.

Like everything that's happened to her while she's been gone and like how she got help and how she's doing when she gets back and stuff so like yeah and also she doesn't have a phone that's why you guys won't see her like posting anywhere if you do see posting it's from a parent posting on her account or like or something like that or or even us or something like that yeah yeah so if you see like a podcast oh I think all the podcasts that were pre-recorded are

already out yeah but I see like a short or something gets posted, that was like filmed before she left. Yeah. Or like we might have some like club videos or like I have a YouTube vlog that she was in,

like stuff like that.

Yeah, and when she gets back, like right now we're anticipating her coming back on when she gets back, but she could get back and also decide like, hey, like I need more time.

Yeah.

The other thing is, I would say within one to three months she'll probably be back on the pod but like I said she could want to take more time or whatever I don't really know exactly but she will most likely 99% probably coming back on the podcast so you guys will see her eventually and she'll probably explain everything way more detailed than we can but yeah but for right now it's us yeah and we are very happy to support Harper

Yeah and that is another thing I know that she films that she wants to put out for you guys like that was another reason she struggled with this decision so much was she was like feeling like she was going to let so

many people down like by just not going to shows or not posting and stuff and she just literally had to be convinced by like us and her family that like her mental health is like way more important than showing up to a show, you know? Like it sucks, like we all wish she was there and like we're gonna miss her and stuff.

But like-

But she loves doing the shows. Yeah, she had so much, like she enjoys doing the shows and stuff, but at the end of the day, like none of that is as important as making sure that she's okay mentally.

Like- She's gonna miss a lot while she's there. That part's sad, but I know that it's worth it in the long run. Like, there's a chance she'll probably miss Christmas. She'll probably miss, like, different stuff because she's there. But I know she recognizes that it's good for her, and so she's excited to be there and, like, get that help.

But it's also, like, really sad for us and for everybody that's gonna miss her. Yeah, I know you guys are gonna miss her too

But like her family I know misses her. Yeah, and it's probably I mean, it's definitely the hardest on her immediate family Oh and her super close friends So if you could just like pray for Harper and like pray for her family right now cuz like this is really difficult on everyone

Yeah Yeah, like hold on everyone yeah yeah like for us I know their family like words kind of like oh like well what about the shows and stuff and we were like don't worry about the shows like that's so irrelevant like the shows like at the end of the day they can be canceled if somebody needs to go to like a hospital

like this to go yeah care like for example if Kate was pregnant and she's having a baby unfortunately we'd have to cancel the show because Kate is pregnant and she'd be having a baby. It's a similar situation like Harper's Mental Health comes before putting on a show. We love all you guys so much and we want to be going to shows, unfortunately. And I actually... It just happened the wrong time. Something Harper's mom had said which I'd like never thought about it like this, but

Like your brain is an organ and when it's not functioning properly You have to go get help the same way if your heart isn't functioning properly like yeah, it's something that needs to be taken care of and I feel like people like write off mental health issues like this because it's like, I don't even know what the word is. Like it is physically hurting her.

Like- Some people are just like, oh, you're being dramatic.

Yeah. Like, it's like, how deep is this issue really? But like, it's really-

I mean, I thought that at first, when we first met Harper.

Yeah. Like, well, we didn't understand the extent of it.

I did not understand at all. try to get what she wants or something like that. And then it's like after getting to know her over the past couple years, it's like, oh no, this is something that she actually really struggles with. This isn't just an excuse to get out of doing homework or something. It's something that she actually struggles with.

I know we talked to Harper's mom and she doesn't want us to disclose too much

Good try, you know. I just wanted to let y'all know that she's happy.

But she is happy. She's having fun.

She's having fun, but we unfortunately cannot disclose anything that may put her spot in danger.

Yeah, I just think you left her at the pound. You're like, she's having a good time.

That's what I was trying to get at is can. No, she's in a place that where she's happy, she's taken care of, she has friends, like she's okay. Yeah. But we miss her. Yeah. But we also can send her letters

and she gets phone calls a few times a week, so. Yeah, so if y'all wanna leave any comments or anything, these people miss you they love you they're praying for you and they really hope that you're getting better and using this treatment to the best of your ability to fix yourself and be able to get back and have a joyful life. Yeah and that's the like I remember before she had left, she was super freaked out about,

no one's gonna remember me. Like, I'm gonna leave, I'm not gonna post on social media, and everyone's gonna forget who I am, and no one's gonna remember me when I come back. And I was like, Harper, that is so far from the truth. I feel like everybody is just going to continue

to think about her until she comes back. Whether it's a month or three months, you know? So, just, I feel like, like, gifts at the show, or like, comments and stuff like that, just messages that she'll be able to look back on

to help her remember that, like, nobody forgot about her while she was gone will be super helpful for her.

Yeah, I mean, a lot of people take breaks, even from social media when something bad has happened, like they've done something wrong or they're just taking a break from social media. There's like, I remember Logan Paul, when he disappeared for probably six months to a year off of YouTube and then came back and he's still bigger than ever.

So I don't think her going away just to go get help is gonna hurt her anyway. I think when she comes back, she's gonna have a big welcome party from everybody and it's gonna be super fun.

It'll be huge. Yeah. Huge celebration.

We should have a party for her when she comes back.

An actual party. Like a live show.

We can show tickets. Yeah, no, be exciting when she comes back. But yeah, we know you guys are disappointed if you're coming to those shows, or if you've been to the last show, Chicago, you guys were probably like disappointed Harper couldn't make it, but it was for the same reason.

Yeah, and we're very sorry, and I know that, I know it's like really easy to like get caught up on things like that, and it's like, I was going you're upset. Like we, that was the last thing any of us want to do, but also take a step back and just look at it from a different perspective and think like, Harper is really hurting right now. Like before you get mad or disappointed or upset or anything, like just try to be as understanding as you possibly can,

Angry comments about how Harper's not there, this is the worst thing ever. Don't say that, because they'll see that. Her mom and dad sees that. She's gonna come back and see that. And that's not positive. It's not helpful

She's just couldn't make it to the show due to X, Y, and Z, and they were very understanding.

They were very nice.

And so I'm sure you guys will receive it the same way at Oklahoma and Dallas, but yeah, it is one of those things that it is so sad and we're so disappointed that Harper won't be there, and I know she's disappointed she won't be there, but it's just a matter of what comes first. And it's like doing a live show is like super fun

for one night, but it's not going to affect y'all's life in the long run or Harper's life in the long run. And this might, so it's like something that she needs to get help with.

And so, yeah.

And I think if the show's not gonna be the same, obviously without Harper, but it's still gonna be fun like we're still gonna make it enjoyable for y'all and I think no it's gonna be great yeah you'll have fun yeah yeah we're all gonna be missing her but it'll be a lot of fun

There's a lot of people that struggle with it. I think everybody at one point in their life has had some version of situational depression or something, whether it's a breakup, whether it's just a hard time with their career or college or school. Like so many kids that I've met, even you guys,

have told us how y'all struggle in school with tests and things like that. Like I know kids that are panicked to go to school. Like I was one of those kids. I had a teacher, and this is gonna sound crazy, literally in like second grade,

that I would cry every day.

I cried every day.

He was your little baby. Like, I literally felt bullied by this teacher. Like it was- No, it was because Maverick was always the teacher's pet in every single class. Because I mean- Because I was a fantastic kid.

I mean a straight suck up. The teacher's pet. No, this teacher was known in the school to be ruthless.

Oh, I had one of those in kindergarten.

It was literally everyone and this teacher didn't give Maverick. No, it wasn't up attention. No, and she put him or he put him on yellow or red on the that was a different teacher different teacher and he lost it different teacher I've been on yellow completely different grade.

What did you do to get on yellow?

I don't remember. I don't remember what you did. No, in her class, it had tragic.

Well, I remember every single time I got put on yellow or red and I remember exactly what it was for

every single time.

I never got put on yellow or red. In fact, I never got the pizza party. You were on green all year long? Oh Kenzie you don't know me okay I was never on yellow ever not one time.

Because you walked up to the board and put your thing back on green? No because I wanted

I know I think my teacher didn't have the money for it I feel kind of bad now. So surprising cash wasn't a fat kid. I got

Because he just loved food and he ate breakfast like three times a day. He did he did

For a meal today. You need to eat three square Okay today. Actually, I had two breakfasts today I went and ate toast and then about I waited about 30 minutes and then I went and ate pancakes on a stick. Here's the thing with the teacher I had guys. You ate my pancakes on a stick? Yeah, I did. Oh Okay. I did. He does. No, the teacher I had was like one of those teachers that I'm not kidding if there was a single person talking at all the entire class for the entire day. It was like she'd lose her mind. Yeah. Like lose her mind.

Couldn't talk at all. See, that's crazy. You shouldn't be teaching kindergarten through third grade if you can't

handle a little bit of talking.

I'm talking every kid in there was always in trouble. Every kid was like terrified. She didn't use pizza to try to get us to do what she wanted. She just used- Like a whip, like her angry voice. Yeah. And like yell at the kids and they're just like, okay.

Yeah, they're terrified.

Like I'm talking even your hand reaches to someone else's desk, watch out, she's coming.

Well, I got put on red. I jumped straight from green to red. I didn't even get a yellow card this day in second grade because I punched a girl. And this was the first time I ever got gaslighted in my life. And to this girl, if you remember it, count your days because

I've been plotting. I've been plotting for 12 years.

Do you guys remember it? working in like our partners and all throughout the classroom the teachers like okay you and your partner go find a spot sit in the classroom so me and my friend we picked this spot on the floor we're both laying down on our stomach writing on our papers and I turned to her and we're like you know goofing off obviously we're eight years old and she says something and I laugh and I'm like oh my gosh that's so stupid like I literally like I barely touched her. And like this girl saw red. She goes,

Ow!

I can't believe you punched me!

And she's sobs. She, you looked stupid, by the way.

Why did you use it as like an anime character?

Face was shaking.

That's what she did! And I know it didn't hurt. And then guess what? She runs to the teacher, Miss, Miss, Kate punched me. Be so serious right now. Use your brain for half a second. And then the teacher was like, oh my gosh, she's crying. Obviously Kate punched you. I didn't. But because I was a talker in the second grade and I always got in trouble for talking, she didn't believe me. Oh, because you were a talker? Yes. And so that's why I can't have girls. The only reason girls get moved from green to red is for talking. I was the same way. I can't do it. I don't want to like walk in. And I know I just said, if you teach kindergarten through third grade, you should be okay with a little talking. I'm not a teacher and I don't want my kids to talk.

I just, I don't want it to come up to me. It's like the little squeaky girl voice saying,

mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, look at this, mom, look at this.

That's cute if it's like one, but like. and they pretend to be cats and stuff. And I'm like, no, stop.
