On the tax treatment of gas and exporting gas, is this essentially, would you agree this is your aim, that on the one hand you want to avoid people not investing, companies not investing, scaring people off.That's what you want to avoid.On the other hand, you want to maximise returns for Australian taxpayers.Is that?Would you agree with that sentiment?

Is your job to represent regular Aussie punters against the interests of the gas lobby?Pretty straightforward.Would you agree?That's roughly your job.Let's see how she goes.

We always want to encourage investment.I mention this often in public statements.There's hundreds of billions of dollars of investment.

Oh, this led me down a rabbit hole.I did not want to go.And it wasn't that hard to find.Fact checks, welcome, citations necessary.But King was ministerial advisor to Labour MP Gary Gray.Now that name rings a bell.

So now who was Gary Gray?Well, Gary Gray used to be the Resources Minister before Madeleine King.All right, now we are getting somewhere.In this Michael West article here, now Gary Gray used to be a former Woodside executive.So punters, let's just remind ourselves, how do we end in a situation like this where a politician is clearly, openly, unashamedly shilling for the gas cartel, stealing your shit and handing it to foreign corporations with piss -weak taxes and piss -weak royalties.This is how.

Gary Gray, former Woodside executive, who finished up his resources stint and went to work at Mineral Resources.That's right, a mining company.Other Labor Cabinet ministers have also gone to work at Santos and AGL within a month of leaving office.Obviously, Ian McFarlane and Martin Ferguson.These guys have sold us out as well.But as I was looking into Gary Gray, this is his career here.

He went from Woodside, Woodside to the government in office, making the rules for the industry.Then he went back into the industry in Minres, and then he joined the board of ASC, which I'm like, what is ASC?Well, it turns out that ASC is Bay Systems Maritime Australia, which in shorthand is a weapons company.Okay.Well, what does that have to do with anything?While he is currently serving on the board, he is appointed to be Australia's ambassador to Ireland.

And who appointed him?Trust me, Bunchers, I'm getting there.Follow this map for me.It was Senator Maurice Payne who going down the wiki profiles here, was the Minister for Women under Scott Morrison.Okay, now remind me, what did Scott Morrison, what is he famous for doing?That's right, he oversaw the signing of the AUKUS security pact, increasing tensions between Australia and China and Australia and France.

Cheers!And wouldn't you know it, which company was selected to geta portion of this slush fund or however submarines come to buy it?Why, it's none other, here's a government document here, than ASC Proprietary Limited.The same, I can't believe, I just stumbled across this.the same company that Gary Gray, former Woodside executive, former minister for resources, current weapons non -executive director, suddenly gets this sweet, cushy deal and then also comes back into the government.

While he's a non -executive director, he is also an ambassador.Conflict of interest?Like, did they not exist?I mean, even perceived conflict of interest.At the end of the day, you're meant to work for us, not a weapons company.So then that happens and then we all know how this story ends.

This story ends with Scott Morrison becoming a strategic advisor, which is like code for lobbyists, with Dyn Maritime, which wouldn't you know, Dyn Maritime has its sights set on technologies related to, guess what, Orcus.This is how politics works.How many of you want to take a punt about where Madeline King goes to work when she finishes office?My good money is on the mining and gas sector.But, you know, maybe she'll join her previous boss Gary Gray over at... weapons.Maybe she'll cycle back into the government and get a cushy ambassador job.

Punters, this is a joke for them.They are not representing you.They are career hopping and using you as a stepping stone, using your face, using your resources to step their way.And obviously, Madeline King hasn't done it yet.And I will I will make a whole video exonerating her if she goes and becomes a schoolteacher or something.An honorable profession after finishing up office here.

But punters, mark my words, I'll bet you 50 bucks you right there that she goes to work in mining or gas when she finishes officeI'll pay different odds at $25 to becoming a lobbyist of some other kind, but my big money is on oil, gas and mining, just like so many people went before.So when you hear a politician overtly using foreign gas lobby talking points listen to them when they tell you the truth because she has just told you the truth about not only herself but the entire joke of both major political parties they both do it they both won't stop it and they're gonna keep riding this gravy train because they're gonna get rich baby while you get poor so madeline king next time when you're asked hey Is your job to be the resource minister for foreign gas lobby groups or be the resource minister for we the punters and get us a good deal from the foreign gas corporations?The answer's us.You work for us.There is a succession where you go from staffer, advisor, minister, gas lobbyist.
