was peaceful but the government didn't pay any attention to it. But on 23rd September, two people who were doing the hunger strike fell ill and they were admitted to the hospital in critical condition. This becomes the most immediate reason for the violence to trigger. After their illness, hundreds of people take to the streets. We want the Shorul! We want the Shorul!

Protest organizers have been warning sentiment among youth could turn violent if the government continues to refuse their demands.

On 24th September, the protest is organized in a closed way and the crowd gathers in the Martyrs' Ground. The frustration and anger of the oppressed people had reached its peak by this time. It is important to mention that the unempl the unemployment situation in Ladakh is very bad. After being removed from the Jammu Kashmir recruitment board, a huge drop in the number of jobs has been seen. Recent government surveys show that 26.5% of the graduates in Ladakh are unemployed. This is almost double of the national average of 13.4%.

This rate of unemployment is the highest in the country after Andaman and Nicobar. So on 24th September, when this crowd gathered, the people present here, due to all these different reasons, were very angry. Some people got angry and started seeing clashes between the police and the protesters. Many cars were set on fire.

And there were also broken pieces. In Leh, BJP's regional headquarters and Hill Council office are set on fire. Police charge sticks at the protesters and tear gas bullets are fired. after the Chauri Chaura incident. Sonam Wangchuk condemns the violence in clear words and also says that Modi government has created this situation by ignoring the peaceful protests of the youth by not giving them jobs. When they ignore peace, once, twice, five times, walking from Leh to Delhi,

and if no one ignores him, then such situations arise. If a wise, educated politician had been the Prime Minister, he would have felt ashamed. And he would have gone to meet the protesters to understand their talks.

But the Modi government did the opposite. The problems of the protesters, their anger, their frustration, instead of understanding them, they started defaming them.

The ministers and IT cell people in the government started saying that it was a conspiracy of a foreign country. These protesters were declared as traitors. The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavindar Gupta said this in his old cassette that Ladakh is being conspired to destroy peace.

And that Nepal and Bangladesh. Sammit Patra said that this was a protest of Congress in the name of Gen Z revolution. There were some protests in the name of Gen Z. But when the investigation was done, it was found that it was a protest of Congress. cancelled the FCRA license of the Students, Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh, short form SECMOL. This license is necessary to get donations from abroad. One of the reasons given for this was that Sonam Wangchuk had deposited Rs. 3.5 lakhs in the FCRA account in cash.

But this was not the money of black money or money laundering. The government itself believed that this money was from the FCRA fund and had bought it and sold it to a bus. Which was deposited in the FCRA account according to the guidelines, it was deposited in the FCRA account. The government has a problem that Sonam Wangchuk gave the money in cash and didn't tell us about it properly.

The second reason is that in 2021, three volunteers, for their food and accommodation, gave a total of Rs. 54,600. Which was transferred to the FCRA account. According to the rules, Indians cannot donate to the FCRA account.

There is a separate local account for that. In response to this, the SEC MOL said that the money was accidentally transferred to the FCRA account. Look at how small things they are picking out and showing how big a mistake was made. Another reason is that it is said by the Home Ministry

About a year ago, Sonam Wangchuk received an anonymous letter in which exactly the same things were written that if the government didn't listen and didn't stop its protests, then this way, these accusations will be put on them.

this notice was issued against Sonam Wangchuk. Other NGOs were also sent such threatening notices. And during this debate, the elected head and CEO of Leh Hill Council issued a letter saying that SCCMOL has helped the administration

in all the villages of Ladakh and Leh. These allegations are false. In 2013, the court had also acquitted Sonam Wangchuk of all the allegations. This was not told to you by them. On top of that, the common sense is that if these allegations were true,

why did the BJP government wait for 11 years before taking action on Sonam Wangchuk? Why do they remember all these things after the protests? Third, look, many big BJP influenced handles are sharing a picture with Sonam Wangchuk's Bangladesh leader Muhammad Yunus. They are showing that there is a connection with Sonam Wangchuk's leader and foreign funding. But the truth is that this picture is 5 years old, it is from 2020, which Sonam Wangchuk himself shared. Gradually, the students who were failing in the first school,

to solve the problems of their own and Ladakh's people, they start developing different innovative technologies. The entire campus of SECML runs on solar energy and is eco-friendly. Friends, it is often said that what can a single person do? But this education revolution started by a single person, Sonam Wangchuk,

in 1996, 95% of Ladakh's students failed in the board exams. This number has remained at 25% in 2024. Sonam Wangchuk is an engineer and has innovated many things which are very useful for the country. Rapid urbanization and climate change in Ladakh has greatly impacted water supply. Glaciers are melting rapidly, water sources are drying up and it rains only 100 mm per year. Because of this, there is no water for farming.

When Sonam Wangchuk saw this happening, he developed the Ice Stupa technique. This is his most famous invention. In winters, artificial glaciers are made and stored. When farmers need water for farming, they get water from these artificial glaciers. Similarly, Sonam Wangchuk has also built solar heated tents for the Indian soldiers so that they can stay safe in the cold of Ladakh.

This shelter room keeps the temperature very high even at night. Like last night, it was 15 degrees inside at 10 am.

Whereas, the temperature outside was around minus 14 degrees.

This solar heated tent collects heat from the sun during the day. And then this heat is stored through water. Due to the insulation properties of the tent, the soldiers work at night. In February 2021, he tweeted the pictures of this tent. He said that the temperature inside the tent was 15 degrees at 10 pm.

Whereas, outside, it was minus 14 degrees. The same Sonam Wangchuk who did all this for our Indian Army. The BJP people call him anti-national. By the way, the same Sonam Wangchuk, in 2020, during the tension with China at the border, he ran a campaign to boycott China.

He had given a slogan, the army will answer with bullets, we will answer with wallets. And now some BJP people are calling him a Chinese agent. Can you imagine how big fools these people are? The truth is that Sonam Wangchuk is a true patriot who has given his blood, sweat and tears to this country. If he wanted, he would have become a millionaire in some other country today because of his innovations.

But he chose his country over money. When Article 370 was removed in 2019, he thanked PM Modi himself. Then he became the darling of this BJP ecosystem. But as soon as he talked about his people, talked to his mind, Sonam Wangchuk became anti-national.
