Trump CAN'T SPEAK as King Charles & Melania WATCH IN HORROR

Well, Donald Trump just humiliated himself and Melania and the United States of America on the world stage by being visibly feeble, visibly infirm, and visibly struggling to speak, to read a simple, written, pre -planned speech honoring King Charles of Great Britain.And this comes at a time when an increasing number of Americans are deeply concerned about Trump's physical and mental fitness as he rapidly declines before our very eyes.And he has three more years of his term, so it's truly terrifying, and we have to talk about it.But before we do, if you end up liking this video and you want to support the channel, please be sure to hit the like, subscribe, and alert bells before you go.Alright, folks, I want to play these clips from Trump's speech, again, honoring King Charles of Great Britain, and shout out to Aaron Ruppar for clipping these things.Again, he suffers so that we don't have to.

In recent years, we've often heard it said that America is merely an idea, but the cause of freedom did not simply appear as an intellectual invention of 1776.The American founding was the culmination of hundreds of years of thought, struggle, sweat, blood and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic.

As Aaron Ruppar notes here, in the history of speeches that have been read right off a sheet of paper, nobody has read a speech off a sheet of paper harder than what Trump is doing right now.Hard indeed.He is struggling, struggling in real time.At one point, he even tries to crack a joke about his marriage to Melania, and Melania doesn't seem to be super impressed.

Him, Fred, and they were married for 63 years.And, uh, excuse me if you don't mind,that's a record we won't be able to match, darling.I'm sorry.Just not going to work out that way.We'll do well, but we're not going to do that well.

63 years.

And King Charles finds that a bit awkward.Melania just, like, barely cracked a smile.As, again, Erin Ruppar notes, she no -sells it.Trump tries to crack a joke to Melania about their marriage, but she no -sells it.Yeah, she doesn't seem to find him particularly funny, and why would she, right?I mean, again, this is part of the reason why Jimmy Kimmel made his joke, which has been so controversial.

The joke wasn't about Donald Trump being assassinated.The joke was that she doesn't particularly like her husband, that to the extent that they seem to have any sort of affection for each other, it is like torturous, performative, cynical affection, that she wants to be as far from him as humanly possible.That's the perception.That's the widespread perception.They have a very frosty marriage.And that's sure what it looks like.

And when he cracks a joke like that and she's just like, move on.And King Charles like, yeah, move on, buddy.It certainly gives that impression as well.One more clip.

In a few hours, His Majesty will stand in the heart of the United States Capitol as the very first British king ever to address a joint session of the United States Congress.So he's going to be addressing Congress and I'm going to be watching.I was thinking of going, but they said, I don't know, that might be a step too far.I would love to go.It's not supposed to be protocol, but I would love to be with you in a few.

Again, as Aaron Ruppar notes, addressed, addressed, addressed.He just can't he can't talk, right?He wants to say address, but he says something entirely different.Again, we're seeing Trump struggle to deliver prewritten, preplanned speeches, reading offteleprompter, reading off a piece of paper, either because he's unfamiliar with the words or because he's struggling to speak simple words.And what's interesting is, I'm a big pop culture junkie, so I remember vividly Donald Trump before he ran for office.

He was a frequent guest on Larry King and the late night circuit.He appeared on Conan O 'Brien.Go back and look at previous interviews of Donald Trump 20 years ago.And it's just night and day, even 10 years ago, like he's a much less agile, cohesive, cogent speaker than he was in 2016.And he really wasn't great there, too, but he was much sharper than he is now.

Right.

And so, again, this comes at a time when the American people are like, we had concerns about Joe Biden.Right.But it seems like we've just traded one person we have concerns about for another.Of course, there are a bunch of other personality deficits and psychological deficits that Trump has that Biden did not, which makes this even worse.But as former Biden press secretary turned MSNOW host Jen Psaki notes, Some of the concern, it's really close to home.

Without all the math to bug it all down.And look, Trump has always had his own preferred vision of reality.But all those catnaps and nonsensical answers seem to be catching up with him.Because now a majority of people don't think he has the mental capacity to be president.And the poll I'm about to show you, it hits especially hard because of who conducted it.A little up and coming outfit, you may have heard of them, called Fox News.

They asked voters this question.Do you think Donald Trump has the mental soundness to serve effectively as president?That's a pretty direct question.As you can see on your screen right there, a majority of those voters, 55 % to be exact, said no.Majority of voters told Fox News Donald Trump does not have the mental soundness to serve effectively as president.And that's a big problem for Trump.

The guy who - It is a big problem for Trump.And it's not alone.I mean, again, just one random different poll that was recently conducted by YouGov48 % of Americans say Trump is suffering modest or significant cognitive decline.All right, so let's take a look at this.And again, I love referring to this too because it's a sanity check, right?

Sometimes I think to myself, Jesus, do the American people not see what's in front of them?Do we not see who Donald Trump is?And it is worth noting that Americans do understand for the most part that Donald Trump is a morally inferior person.It's not the cognitive situation, aside for just a second, we'll get to that.But again, I don't want to say it invigorates me, but it comforts me to thank God at least we're all on the same page, or most of us are.So like, again, what words do you use to describe Donald Trump?

52 % say dangerous, 47 % say corrupt, 45 % say bold, 44 % say cruel, 43 % say racist, 41 % say out of touch, 41 % say divisive, 37 % say strong, 31 % say effective, 31 % say intelligent, 22 % say honest, 16 % say steady, and 16 % say inspiring.So again, in terms of which words would you describe Donald Trump, far more people would use these words These vices, these words describe vice, dangerous, corrupt, cruel, racist, out of touch, divisive, you know, far more likely to describe Trump than not.And when you get to the virtues, like again, intelligent, honest, steady, inspiring, far more people are like, no, those words don't describe Trump, right?So again, thank God we're at a point, we're stuck with him for the next three years, because that's the end of his term, that we at least understand who and what he is.However we got here, we know that he is a terrible person.But, now let's look at the cognitive decline.

48 % of Americans say Trump is too old to be president, while just 40 % say he isn't.35 % say Trump is suffering significant cognitive decline, while 13 % say he's suffering modest cognitive decline, and 32 % say he isn't suffering cognitive decline at all.So a plurality say not only is he suffering cognitive decline, it's significant cognitive decline.And then an even bigger plurality say he's suffering some sort of cognitive decline, period.As for physical decline, 29 % say he's suffering significant decline, 22 % say he's suffering modest decline, and 27 % say he's suffering no decline.So again, not just a significant plurality saying of some decline in some way, shape, or form, But the biggest part of that plurality says that it's significant physical decline.

So again, the American people are increasingly worried, like, oh my God, he's rapidly disintegrating right in front of us.And when he fails to deliver a speech, when he struggles to speak and to read the way that he has, it's not very encouraging, especially in high profile events like that, where he embarrasses himself and Melania in the United States of America.And furthermore, again, what compounds this isn't just the age, isn't just the cognitive decline, it's the fact that Trump's baseline was not particularly high to begin with, right?Joe Biden was in a state of age -related cognitive decline.Joe Biden in 2024 was not as sharp as he was in 2020 as he was in 2016.It's just objectively true.

But the very least, the thing that comforted me when forced to choose between Trump and Biden is to go, well, at least Biden, baseline, is a smart guy.And Biden has smart, competent, honest brokers around him, even if I disagreed with policy positions.None of them were fascists or authoritarians.None of them were corrupt.Donald Trump is an idiot on a good day, and his good days are increasingly rare, and his bad days are increasingly more egregious.And that's what the American people are noting.

They're even telling Fox News that, and that should be truly terrifying for the Republican Party, and it should be a wake -up call for the rest of us that we're stuck with a Mad King lunatic for the next three years, which is why we need to elect Democrats in November, in the midterms, to serve as some sort of check against this insane man.And then in 2028, elect a damn Democrat.In the meantime, let me know what you think in the comments.
