U.S. Airspace Could Close if Shutdown Persists

and you may see us close certain parts of the airspace because we just cannot manage it. With him trying to pin the blame on Democrats, but also pointing to air traffic controllers. Because they're essential employees or it's supposed to work during the shutdown, even though they're not getting paid.
