Just give it a chance. I think it's gonna be better this go around. I think this year our Dubai experience will be a bit different. I have friends now, I know people, I can get my hair done, I know where to get my nails done.

We're gonna be cute we're gonna be cute and we're gonna have fun okay anyways guys welcome to another weekly vlog it is early morning yes we are back in Dubai I would you can see we're in a new place I will be showing you guys a bit more but we're in a bit of a rush because I'm on here all natural and one thing about it put the weave in the hair where do weave at weave... I can't... I have been wearing my bun for two weeks so we're gonna talk more about Dubai and about the place when we get back from getting my hair done. We're gonna go see Shara. This is the thing

there's like a little a little Atlanta going on... well no there's not it's just me and Shara but that was enough for me to say there was a little Atlanta in Dubai. We're gonna go see Shara, she's also from Atlanta. And she's gonna get my hair together. So I got my hair in a bag, and let's go, okay? I'm just wearing this little black tube dress because I'm in a rush, I can't be bothered.

Y'all see this? Do y'all see this little patch of my hair right here? That's the minoxidil. This is all like new, well not all of that, of it and it like won't stay down anyways. I can't put any product on my hair because I'm about to go get my hair done. So yeah we're about to go get our hair done. How many times can I say it? And then we're gonna come back and we'll talk a little bit and then we're actually going to dinner tonight. So we're already starting kind of you know with good vibes.

So and then I'll show you guys a little bit more about the apartment and stuff. You guys know I don't do full tours, but I will show you just a few little cute little little moments. So basically if you pull up and park, they'll come to your car and take your order and then you can like go. So it's not a drive through but kind of. Their matcha is really good. We actually came here before in one of my vlogs so but I got dropped off. This is before I felt comfortable driving So like before I got the courage to like drive kindly place your order. Oh, so who comes to the car trio or backyard? I'm actually okay with either one trio is more like sweet treat backyard is more classic matcha I but it's still not like classic classic. I really want one from backyard, but does backyard come to your car? Maybe they don't come to the car So I need to get out. But yeah, so it's gonna take us like 20 minutes to get to the hair salon. That's the thing about Dubai I feel like I have to drive far like everything's far in my opinion like So far can I get out? Yeah Everything's really far in my opinion. Like I feel like you have you have to drive. I mean you can uber and stuff like there's uber is Relatively available all of the time, but it's so like I get really carsick and I get really carsick here. So

Yum Like when I went for for ebony power 100 and I wore my hair in that slip back stunning beautiful love it but on a regular basis I don't know is this man coming over here to talk to me?

Put the weave in my head and I wish I wasn't that way but I'm really brainwashed under the idea of like my hair has to be thick, my hair has to be long, my hair has to be a certain way for it to be pretty right because

my hair just isn't that I'm like well I'm just believing it and then that is damaging obviously like I'm straightening my hair I'm constantly manipulating my hair to make it what I deem to be pretty because I am that is I give society that y'all ate me up with that one y'all got in my brain good with that brainwash maybe one day we'll overcome it last year when I was in Dubai y'all know I pretty much didn't have my hair done like at all for like the five months that I was here maybe like once or twice and then like

if I went and got my hair done in America and then when I came back, it would be done for like a week or two. But for the most part, I had my natural hair out when I was here in Dubai. And I also think that's maybe why I was so miserable.

Alright the baddie is back I Yeah, I got my hair done. I feel good. Let's get home. I'm gonna stop by the mall I just don't know if i'm gonna bring you guys in because low-key i'm kind of in a rush So I just want to like get in and get out I just need to go to sephora and get an eyelash curler because I don't have mine anymore. I'm gonna go get another matcha.

I'm trying to be cute right now. But anyways, yeah. We are back at the house. I didn't even get half of the things that I needed, but I did get some things. Oh, this is my hair. I blow dried it a little bit, so the curls kind of fell a bit.

Cause them curls, I said, shut up, these little Goldilocks curls. I like it better like this, more like a blowout kind of vibe. Obviously like my hair is a lot shorter than it normally is. We've definitely cut her up a bit, but it still looks really nice I think.

So yeah, so I went to Sephora because I brought eyelashes, didn't bring eyelash glue, lost my eyelashes in LA, and then just needed a bunch of other things. So, well not needed, but wanted. storage and storage isn't coming until next week, so Let me just show y'all what I got first thing. I got some more eyelashes because I was like great They don't the sephora here doesn't have like the velour lashes the lily lashes like all of the like Other brands of lashes they just have so for lashes Oh and huda beauty. I forgot who to had lashes so I got these because they kind of reminded me of the ones that

Kevin used on me and I was like, I kind of really like those So if anything i'll probably just like cut these up and maybe like add a few or something We'll see i'll play around with these i've been like kind of like liking playing with my eyes a little bit more So I got those I have to get an eyelash curler cuz I told y'all I forgot mine and They were sold out of the Shiseido lash curler. If you know, you know, that's like that lash curler is the bomb So I got the Tarte one to see if it's any good. We'll see girl

I'll let y'all know if it's better or if it works as good We'll see and then I got some these are just some cotton swabs like for ears and stuff Um, I use them to take my mascara off. They were just there. That's why I grabbed them You know you that's why I can't be going to stores cuz I just be grabbing stuff I needed another one of my color correctors because so I got this because I have this already But it's in New York and when Kevin did my makeup he mixed this color corrector With or maybe it wasn't this specific one But he mixed a color corrector with the hourglass concealer and that's what he used under my eyes and it was so

Stunning so I said, okay, I'm gonna try that. So I got the hourglass concealer. I got two shades khaki and dune I'm not into like a too bright under eye. he brightened my under eye, my under eye was bright. But I like it when I'm doing that but I don't be doing that often so I got these two shades to kinda see like which one's gonna be best. Usually I wear Dune so we'll see.

And then I really wanted the Hourglass foundation stick to use as like bronzer, I wanted to try that because I'm pretty sure that's what he used on me as well But they didn't have the foundation sticks in that Sephora. So instead I got the Ilia Foundation stick and the makeup by Mario sculpting stick So the reason I got both of these is because this one is more cool tone and this one's really really really warm I like my bronzer to be kind of orangey, but not too Orangey, so I got those like mix them and see like what makes the most sense.

This is the Huda Beauty lash glue because they didn't have any duo or Sephora lash glue. They were completely sold out. And then I got a Nars Turkish Delight lip gloss because it's been trending on TikTok and it made me remember just like how much I like this. Now here's the thing, this isn't the original lip gloss. This is the afterglow lip balms or whatever So it's a bit different, but it still has that same like milky pink look

So clearly it doesn't look good without a lip liner on me But I got this to like just kind of like go down memory lane a little bit So this is in the shade turkish delight, by the way, if you're an og makeup girl then you know the hook that Turkish delight had on the beauty community in like 2016 17 so 15 16 17 girl and then I got this they gave me this I guess for spending too much freaking time in Sephora it's like a little zippy bag ooh I will definitely use this so that is what I got at Sephora

Now I'm going to get ready. I'm gonna shower. I need to call my mom and get ready for dinner I have two I have an outfit with an option of a top. It's not cinching me the way that it could if you can see I have it tied as tight as it'll go Or as tight as I can get it and like it could go tighter like I could use it tighter My pants also don't really fit the best but so basically I'm just wearing a bunch of clothes that don't really fit the pants are from Andrea Yama, I can't remember the name of where I got this corset from it's a foreign company that I found on Pinterest I actually thought it was a scam when I ordered it, but then it came so for accessories I'm wearing these cute earrings from mingo how adorbs and the bracelets from mingo and then this is the only bag that I have With me that'll match and then I'm gonna wear my bronze

Tom Ford shoes because these are the only heels that I have that will match you also won't see my shoes So this is what we're wearing and of course for perfume and of course for perfume I'm wearing a combination of my two fragrances with dossier. I got my fill. I was so hungry going in. Girl. So we had some wine. I'm a little tipsy. You know it was a good time. So now I'm gonna clean my face, shower, and get in the bed. I'm so tired. Yesterday I went to bed at like 9 o'clock and I woke up at 5 this morning. So I'm exhausted. I'm donezo. Okay so I'm gonna strip down, get in the bed. I had a great time. It's so crazy because I feel like my experience here this year is gonna be so different than our

experience last year. I feel like last year because I didn't have any friends like we're so boring. I got these because I had a gift card to Ulta and they were at Ulta and I was like, okay, let's try whitening strips. From dinner, so I don't know what that was about girl, but whatever. So today we have a workout class I'm trying to be back consistent So I told you guys I was really really consistent with my hot Pilates classes back in New York To the point where like I could do a teaser, okay? If you're a Pilates girl, then you know what I'm talking about. Basically what I'm saying is my abs is getting strong, okay? And I don't want to like ruin that. So I was traveling last week

and I didn't work out for an entire week, which is fine. But I'm like, I really don't wanna lose the buildup. Like I'm seeing progress. So I'm like, I really wanna like keep my progress. You know what I mean? We're gonna go do that today at 1230 It's it's like a hot sculpt class So it's not even really Pilates, but they do a lot of ab work So same thing and then after that we're gonna go shopping for the house

So this house unlike our last house, I think I told you guys this a little bit or this apartment. Excuse me We rent fully furnished. It's really common in Dubai to rent fully furnished and not only are things like fully furnished They're like fully furnished and decorated they come with like there's a coffee maker. There's like decor plates glasses Like it's basically like an Airbnb almost like because it's so set up with like everything that you need now This one isn't as equipped as our previous place So like for example, there's only one frying pan here and it's a stainless steel pan. I don't do that I don't know about y'all I can't cook well I can but

I really prefer not to I don't want no pan and I gotta heat up and then wait for it to cool down then heat up it's too much it's too it's too much okay so I like you know ceramic don't come at me I know the girls be saying, you know, it's not good for you. Whatever Nothing in the world is good for you at this point So anyways, we really need to get some pots and pans because I can't keep eating out like that's another thing I've been so good about cooking in new york the first like couple of months we were there

We were so busy. So I wasn't like cooking as much but then like this last month since we moved i've been cooking a lot. So I'm like, okay, I want to like get my pants. I can like stay in my stuff and like not have to eat out a whole bunch. Don't give her a guy. Definitely had some bok choy from Den Tai Fung the other day. So yeah, so we need to go do that. And like utensils, like this place didn't have like utensils and all that thing. We need candles for the house because this is a newly renovated unit. And so it still has that like construction smell I don't know if you know I'm talking about and also like the plumbing and devise a bit off in these buildings

I don't know. So I just don't like the smell of the house So I already got one candle. This is a base candle from to teak So we're gonna get a bunch more just like put all over the house. So yeah, we're basically gonna be going home shopping I need to get also like for the bedroom So I'll show you our last place to like the owners really like equipped us good so like our bedding was so nice so plush like what I say it's an Airbnb like they provide you with sheets and stuff but

this is all that they gave us for this one the duvet is so thin which I get because it's very warm in Dubai so typically people aren't wanting like a thick duvet but I want my bed cozy we gonna make it cold in a house and I want my bed thick comfy cozy Those are all the pillows if you guys y'all know my bed in New York got about seven eight limb pillows Okay, so we need to get more pillows for the bed. I need to like set up my closet space Our closet is a bit smaller here. Don't mind the bathroom. She's a little messy, but I don't really bring all of my I don't bring a lot of stuff to Dubai

Anyways, so it will be sufficient. Also, there's like tons of other closets across the place. So it's fine So yeah, so we need to do that. We need like wine glasses There's no wine glasses here and I'm gonna invite some of the girls over on Sunday to just kind of like Chill and like wind down and stuff. So I'm like, okay, I need to get some wine glasses I do like their plate selection that they gave us the plates here really nice Y'all notice kind of my vibe and low-key I want to put the Christmas tree up the Christmas tree is getting delivered with my stuff from storage on Tuesday

And I'm like, I really want to put it up before we leave for Thanksgiving but that means we'd have to put it up that night and I'm like what is the Chances like the realisticness of me doing that anywho, so that's what we're gonna be doing today It's just workout class and that but I did get some Amazon stuff So I'm gonna open it up and that see what we got really quick and I'll show it to you guys And then I have a little bit of work to do before we head to the workout class I will try to bring you guys to the workout class. It's called middle ground That's what it's called and they basically bring two opposing views to see if they can find middle ground on their opinions about the

topic which is and this one is ozempic so anyways it's interesting hearing their their conversation about it because i don't know enough about ozempic to like speak uh from a very heavy place about it but what i will say is if you have ever been in the 42nd street uh train station i'm sorry something's gotta gotta give if you've ever been in the 42nd street train station, i'm sorry, something's gotta give if you've been there then you know what i'm talking about and if you haven't been there i'm about to tell you so Serena Williams' husband has a major share in one of these glp1 companies i

I put a sworn at order two, but I Had to get my clean towel clean clean skin club towels y'all know these are my gym I've been using these for years. They're basically just disposable towels for your face. They're hypoallergenic It basically is just supposed to help not put bacteria on your face like using a hand towel that you use all the time You don't want to use that to dry your face because yeah, that's the idea behind it again. It's not a must This is something that is kind of like if

This aligns with you and you want to spend the coin on it then by all means But I personally really enjoy them. They're thicker than a paper towel, but they are disposable. So they're not like a regular towel so you can like use them like to me I feel like I Will use them to dry my face in the morning and then I'll use it when I do my makeup to like rub Like, you know colors off on or just like whatever like I'll use it, you know in the morning like during my get ready routine So anyways got these I got some disposable wipes Always gotta keep flushable wipes on deck. There are good days here, but I'm not a big good day girl unless it's like necessary

I'm more of a white kind of person So I got a pack of wipes I could have got like cotton out like the kinds that I have at home, but they ship out of the US So they take much longer. So I got these flushable wipes So yeah, suitable for intimate areas for adults and babies girl It's just some freaking wipes. So like I told y'all the bedding sucks. So I got pillows

These are two king-size pillows from this brand called utopia I really wanted to get my Casper pillows that I have back home But like I said shipping from the US it would take forever. So hopefully these are nice. They had really good reviews We'll see they feel I can't really tell because they're all swished up in this bag but I got four pillows and I also got a down feel comforter now here's the thing I ain't never seen a down feel comforter get

this tight I ain't never seen a beauty small so I'm a little nervous I'm nervous it's not gonna be fluffy she was all bundled and wrapped up so maybe we'll be okay. So I got that and I also got a book and I know you're probably like Aleeha why'd you buy a book you have a Kindle I left my Kindle in America and I just know that I'm gonna have some downtime to read I usually have way more downtime to read when I'm here in Dubai versus New York I did not read a single book the month of October and I have

not started any books the month of November. Somebody actually wrote me and they were like um girl can you give us some more book recommendations. I ain't read nothing, I ain't read nothing. So I picked up this book because it would come overnight so that I could start it today. It's called Hidden Pictures by Jason Rakulic. I don't know, it's a best seller, we'll see. So it's a thriller book, y'all know those are kind of my favorites.

So we'll check it out and see what it's giving. It had really, really good reviews and lots of reviews. I'm a basic, okay, when it comes to reads, if somebody says it's good, good enough for me. So it's about a 350, 70 page book. Yeah, like 350 pages, super digestible.

So like I'll check this out, see how I like it. I've never read anything from that author, so we'll see how I like his writing style. In the meantime, I'm gonna have some breakfast. I'm just gonna make some quick eggs or whatever and I'm gonna eat a banana and some fruit

I typically don't like love this. I used to wear these, this line,

like this material for running. It's very highly compressive and it's very sweat like wicking, which is great for hot classes to be fair. But yeah, so it's definitely more for like a higher intensity workout.

The great thing about truly living in two places, like I have so many like other clothes and stuff here

that like I didn so many like other clothes and stuff here that like I

Didn't have back home. So I didn't have to bring any workout clothes. All of this was here. I've got my water I don't have my roommate cup here because I can't get it shipped here So what I might do is order another one to the house and then bring it with me when I come back by to the house I'm in in New York. It trains a whisk a spatula a ladle some tongs and then some wooden utensils so here's the thing in our previous place they supplied all of the like cooking utensils for us so we didn't have any it's a little warm in here and I can't remember if I bought more or not so that's why I bought this also we don't have any. So that's why I bought this. Also, we don't have any now, and I'm like, I need to make breakfast and stuff, so I'll just buy it until my thing's coming. If I have two spatulas or two, it's fine. You know what I mean?

So I got those. chopsticks here, but they're my black ones that I think I also have back home, but these dark wooden ones Get into it so cute And I feel like these will be easier to pick up food because the metal ones are kind of slippery So it's not the easiest to like pick stuff up with so I got these I got a wine opener They didn't have any electric ones and I needed one for tomorrow because the girls are gonna come over and have wine

I also got wine markers cuz I don't know You know when you're in places and I got these serving spoons you can get these on Amazon though way cheaper just a heads up Not here in the u.a. But um back home. I used to have these in Atlanta, if you remember, you remember? They're like salad, I use them for salads,

but you can use them for whatever. I got these on Amazon for like $10, girl. So go on Amazon. The next thing that I got is, this is a paper towel holder, because we don't have one for our paper towels.

So we need taller paper towels here. I don't think are like really short Maybe there's taller ones and it's just these that we have but voila. Oh the only other thing I forgot to tell you I also ended up getting four wine glasses from CB to do the exact same ones that we just bought in New York So we bought them for here So I'm gonna go online and see if I can find anything better But yeah, so that's everything that I got and in the pots and pans which you guys are on top of I'm not gonna open them I'm still debating if I want to take

the pots and pans back because of that Martha Stewart set that I seen with the gold handles but part of me feels like the gold on that was a bit gaudy like even the gold on my 2g pots and pans is a bit gaudy but I like it. But the thing about here is that the way that they do these houses like it's LED lights everywhere it's already gaudy so I'm like I don't think I should gaudy it even more with the handles on my popping pants. If you sweat a lot like if you do workouts where you sweat a lot in my opinion Quick weaves are not that good. It hurts so bad from the sweat It kind of loosens and then when it dries it like Squeezes so it's like pulling all of my hair so bad. This is what happens every single time I get a quick weave no matter who does it This is what happens because it's just not if you work out hard like heavy sweaty nasty workout
