NASCAR driver Kyle Busch opened up about his health in the weeks before his shocking death.According to USA Sports reporter Dustin Long, Busch made a medical request during the Watkins Glen International Race on May 10.Long noted in an ex -post at the time that Busch asked his team to find Dr. William Heisel and that he will need him after the race.Long added that Busch did not elaborate on the radio for why he is making the request.During the television broadcast of the race, Fox Sports' Mike Joy also mentioned that Bush had been dealing with a, quote, sinus cold during the week.Six days later, Bush told Jeff Gluck from The Athletic ahead of the all -star race May 17 that his illness was still lingering.
