What Really Happened to Katie Price’s Husband? | This Morning

It is the news lots of people have been waiting for.Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, is said to have finally been found after no contact with Katie for two weeks.

Katie has been sharing her worries about his whereabouts online, with sleuths even making their way to Dubai, where Lee lives, to try and track him down.

But if you're wondering what we're talking about, or feel a little bit out of the loop with the latest, Lucy Cave is here to tell us everything.

So it's giving Wagga the Christie isn't it?I've been so deep in that not much has been done.

I mean look This is the most important story that we've had for ages, OK?So, shall I take you back to the beginning, where it all began?

Let's set the scene.

OK, so, back in January, Katie Price announced that she was engaged to this mystery man.This came a week after she'd split up with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater, who she'd been with for a while.She suddenly started sharing these pictures of this romantic proposal.There were roses, there was an engagement ring, and suddenly there's this guy, Lee Andrews, who nobody's ever heard of before.She then reveals that she'd actually got married to him just a few days after the engagement.This comes after three previous marriages and eight engagements, let's not forget.

And this is all in Dubai?This is all in Dubai.And then she posts this mirror selfie saying, happiest Mr and Mrs. He also shares some pictures.And then she, in February, she goes back to the UK.He stays in Dubai.And then it all starts to unravel because some of his ex -girlfriends come forward and one of them said that she had an identical marriage marriage proposal just months before Katie.

But here is what Katie had to say about it at the time.

At the end of the day, no one knows what I know.It's only been speculated by the press.I am very happy and that's all what matters.That happy that I'm going back to Dubai.

And look, whatever about the identical proposal, it's not exactly grand.Rose petals, you know?No.But there was a move then towards, you know, allegations of fraud.Yeah.Which, you know, it feels like it's taken a turn.

Yeah, it certainly did.and it gets even worse after that.So, early on, she's facing all these allegations of people saying that he's a fraudster and that he's been scamming her.She's routinely defended him.We went to him for comment, no comment from him.But there were all sorts of claims, like he'd used AI to fake his own company.

Some people thought he wasn't even real and that he was actually AI himself.

Yeah, there was gym pics, there was all sorts of things.Then all this stuff came out saying that people were allegedly saying that he'd said that he was dying, he was going to leave his fortune to them.Some people said that he'd sort of scammed them sort of financial schemes, but they were left without any return.I mean, there were images of him with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian, which some people were speculating weren't real.Anyway, Katie told Lee of the speculation.

Everyone thinks he's a con artist, a scam.And when every time he said he's coming to England and he hasn't got on the plane, everyone thinks he's lying, mocking that, this, that.You're the most hated man in Britain.He says, what?What?Why?

I said, Trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain.Everyone thinks this is a scam.Everyone thinks I'm into it.It's like, what?What's going on?Like, I don't see nothing.

I said, we'll discuss it all when you're out.Wow.

Wow.I mean, so the plot really thickens.Yes.And then things took, like, a really big turn when he failed to appear alongside Katie on GMB, right?

Yeah, so this was on May 12th.Katie was due to do a joint interview with him.He was meant to be flying over from Dubai.She's on the show and he doesn't turn up.So then it sort of goes from this celebrity story to something a bit more serious.And Ed Balls and Susanna Reid start questioning her and asking about his whereabouts.

They ask if he's been detained by the authorities.because they were told by the Foreign Office that a British man had been detained in Dubai.Let's take a look.

Did Lee get arrested at the airport?

He is at the airport now and he is on his way.Do you trust him?Yes.I know no -one believes it and even your face says it all.

You believe that it's not Lee who's been detained?

No, because I've just had him on FaceTime at the airport.

It's definitely not Lee.We also reached out to the Foreign Office at the time and said they are supporting a family of a British man and we're in contact with the local authorities.

But you can see from Susanna's response, you know, there's a kind of protectiveness, I think, over Katie.She's been through a lot very publicly.But she's standing by her man.Did he ever arrive?

Well, she kept posting online saying he was planning to come back to the UK, but there was no sign of him.Then she starts to sort of raise concerns because she said She's been in constant contact with him, and suddenly that contact stops.However, she does stay positive by singing a top -charting track.I mean, I say singing, I don't quite mean singing.

Lucy!Where the hell is my husband?Da -da -da -da -da -da.Quite a convenient song.Baby, where the hell is my husband?The wife, he's alone in the UK.

It turns out he's not in the tail aisle.No.Wherever he is.

So, what happens next?

What's going on?What is going on?So, what happens next?What's happening?So, according to The Sun, a missing person report then gets officially launched by his family at the British Embassy in Dubai.Katie then goes online and she is getting really worried now.

OK.The truth is, Lee has been missing for three days, so now we're wondering if he's been kidnapped.He's definitely a missing person now.When I last heard from him, he FaceTimed me.He had a hood on and he said, um, I've just been captured, arrested or whatever.That's the last FaceTime call I had with him.

And then his phone went dead.If there is anyone in Dubai or you know anyone in Dubai and you spot him, see him, just, I don't know, because I don't know where he is.

Your face, George, throughout this whole thing.I thought I sort of knew about enough of this.And then now you're filling me in.I'm like, oh, this is so much deeper than I thought.

I know.There's a lot going on.It really is.So she's getting fans involved.There were internet sleuths.Some of the people online said that they thought they'd seen him go onto Instagram and start following other women.

But she responded to those accusations.

He hasn't been on his phone.He hasn't had his phone.He's been interrogated.They'd gone through his phone.And so they've been mucking about on his phone.What happened with that other woman was apparently she activated her account and maybe she followed Lee or Lee followed her years ago or whenever.

They've never exchanged messages or nothing.

Oh, the plot thickens.I mean...

He's magically reappeared, is the story now.Yes, he has.OK.

He has.So, I mean, we were worried about her and she was clearly worried about him, but, yeah.So, she's now been in contact with him.He apparently called her from a prison in Dubai.Brief phone call on Wednesday.This was two weeks after he disappeared.

And she said, thank you to the police for finding him.

Lee has found a lie!What?!They thought he was a spy, so he's been interrogated.I spoke to him for one minute and...they thought he was a spy.He's been interrogated, had hoods on him, and that's all I know.

So he's told her that he was in prison for espionage, but news reports have said it was actually instead a private civil matter.But with all these investigations going on, Katie now thinks that she might have a future career.Go on, girl.

I just want to thank the police.So I thank them so much, because it has been a worry, and they've been amazing, to the point that they said I would be a good detective.I might even try and be a detective.

Wow.There you go.She has had a varied career, why not?I know, Katie Price detective, there we are.I can't wait for the documentary.I know.

We all know it's going to turn into a documentary, right?

100%.But also there's been so much documentation of it, whether she's, you know...She's keeping us up to date, isn't she?

Her Instagram is currently down and we don't know why that's done, so there's even more speculation about that.
