Why in the world did Apple just release a paper-thin iPhone? So Apple just had their iPhone 17 launch event today where they unveiled the brand new iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and a completely brand new model, the iPhone 17 Air. Now you might think that Apple was most excited to talk about the new iPhone 17 since it finally got a 120Hz display and a new upgraded selfie camera system. Or even the completely redesigned iPhone 17 Pro, with its unibody forged aluminum design vapor chamber cooling and these new colors that I think look really sick

But no the thing that Apple talked the most about was this new iPhone 17 air This is the thinnest phone Apple has ever made and is somehow according to them the most durable phone They've ever made as well It has the screen of the iPhone 17 Pro the same chip as the 17 Pro It only has one camera and a much smaller battery because of how thin it is. Now the reason Apple released this phone is not because anybody asked for it, because nobody did, and it's also not because they're trying to make the best phone possible.

The real reason they released this phone is because Apple needed some way to make the average person go into an Apple store and actually be impressed when they pick up the phone.
